Powers/Abilities: Lenore's skin emitted an unknown form of energy which, upon striking the skin of another living being, produced fatigue poisons in their muscle tissue and sleep-inducing chemicals in the brain. This unknown energy emanated from the epidermis of the entire surface of her body. It did not emanate from her eyes or the inside of her mouth. It produced a constant luminosity with a maximum candlepower of 1500. Virtually all living beings were affected by Lenore's fatigue-inducing radiation. A being's body mass determined how fast they would be affected by her power. The greater the mass, the longer it would take for paralysis to occur. A 180-pound human could be rendered unconscious in approximately 10 seconds of direct exposure. Although it wasn't experimentally verified, it was belived that if Lenofre were to expose a person to her luminescence long enough, that person would die probably of heart or lung failure. In some unknown manner, Lenore's radiation interacted with the bodies it shone upon and reflected back some of the affected beings' vitality or "life-force." This in turn invigorated Lenore's body and caused aged skin and muscle tissue to reverse the natural aging process. Although she was chronologically in her 60s, her body was generally that of a woman in her early 20s. If she had "sapped" no vitality from anyone for approximately a month, her body reverted to its natural aged state. The process of revitalization took approximately 24 hours; her body in its natural state would become that of a 20-year old with sufficient stimulation in that period of time. There was apparently no limit to the number of times she could go from one state to another. Lenore had to keep her body swathed in clothing to prevent her parability from constantly affecting other people. The only people known to be immune to her parability were Stephanie Harrington and Pit Bull. "Sapping" vitality from other people stimulated Lenore's pleasure centers. Consequently, the absorption process was psychologically addictive to her. Through great self-control, Lenore practised moderation in her energy-absorption, taking under ordinary circumstances only the energy necessary to keep her body in its optimum physical condition.

Lenore had a fair amount of natural agility, strength and coordination. When her body was in its most vigorous state, she had the natural athletic ability of a physically fit 20-year old. During her time in the C.I.A. she learned judo and other martial arts.

History:

(Official Timeline of the New Universe) - Lenore Fenzl was a retired high school Latin teacher living in the Sunny View Nursing Home in Green Bay, Wisconsin. On July 22, 1986, Lenore Fenzl was reading a book indoors and missed seeing the White Event, a comic phenomena caused by the Star Brand which transformed her into a paranormal.

(D.P.7 Annual I#1) - On July 25, 1986, Lenore noticed a large grey spot on her left arm and wondered if it were a bruise, a liver spot or even leprosy. When she tried to show the spot to her friend Rosalind, the light emitted from the spot caused Rosalind to become faint. When Rosalind recovered and left her room, Lenfore began to examine her body and discovered more of the spots were appearing on her skin. Lenore summoned the nursing home's nursing aide Edith to examine her spots. The moment Edith saw the spots, the light caused her to faint. Lenore still didn't understand the spots were causing people to faint. Also uknown to Lenore, these early manifestations of her power were observed by the Witness, an invisible ghost-like paranormal who was drawn to other paranormals.

(D.P.7 I#1 (fb) - BTS) - On July 29, 1986, Lenore went to see a doctor about her condition as the spots had continued to spread but he also was knocked out by the light emitted from her skin. Lenore took to wearing a veil and full-body clothing to protect people from the light. Lenore heard of the Clinic for Paranormal Research from a crisis intervention hotline.

(D.P.7 I#19/The Clinic) - Eventually, on September 9, 1986, Lenore went to the Clinic for Paranormal Research to be treated for her parability. Lenore was placed in Therapy Group B, but she was initially unwilling to join group therapy because of the nature of her parability. In time, she agreed to join Therapy Group C instead.

(D.P.7 I#1) - On September 29, 1986, Therapy Group C met with the Clinic's Dr. Jane Semple, who introduced them to new patients Dave Landers and Randy O'Brien. The other members of the group were Charlotte Beck, Stephanie Harrington, Scuzz and Jeff Walters. Lenore explained her parability and used her power on Jeff, causing him temporarily stop shaking from his superhuman metabolism; Lenore noted that anyone else would have been paralyzed by her light. Jeff was pleased and remarked that he liked having Lenore around.

Therapy Group C continued to bond together in the weeks that followed. When Scuzz's birthday came up, Lenore made a cake for his birthday party. On October 19, 1986, Randy asked Lenore about the Clinic. She admitted she thought it was odd the institution wasn't concerned about how any of the patients were going to pay for their treatment but when she asked about this, the Clinic's answers were evasive. Later that night, Randy discovered the Clinic's staff were making plans to brainwash them. Regulator took Randy away to silence him but the rest of Therapy Group C learned what had happened from Dave. As they debated in the Clinic's hallways whether to save Randy and leave the Clinic, Lenore admitted she didn't want to lose the companionship the group had offered her. Suddenly, a team of Clinic security personnel entered the hallway armed with tranquilizer guns. When they opened fire at the group, Lenore removed her mask and froze the guards in their tracks. The group went to rescue Randy from Regulator but he used his own parability to regulate physiological reactions upon them, causing Lenore's optic nerve to fail. However, Dave overcame the pain Regulator put him through and struck him down, cancelling his parability's effects. When all seven of the group members had revived they resolved to break out of the Clinic and fled into the night.

(D.P.7 I#2) - The seven friends went through the woods to the highway and Charlotte used her parability to stop a bus. Boarding the vehicle, Lenore used her parability to paralyze the driver and passengers, enabling them to commandeer it. As they drove the bus to Dave's mobile home, Scuzz suggested they should all start using code names and suggested Lenore should be called "Twilight" because she "creates a weird Twilight Zone effect." When Stephanie didn't know what to call herself, Lenore suggested "Viva" as a feminine version of "vivo," noting that Stephanie's power adds "life, invigoration, vitality!"

Three miles from Dave's mobile home the group left the bus and continued on foot. However, they were ambushed by Bloodhound, Shrapnel and Vice Versa, three paranormal headhunters working for the Clinic. Bloodhound shot Lenore with a tranquilizer dart. As he began to capture Lenore, Jeff tried to stop him but Bloodhound lifted Lenore's mask, causing her parability to reduce Jeff's speed. Bloodhound threaten to slit Lenore's throat unless Jeff surrendered but Charlotte intervened and used her parability to make his knife slip out of his hand. When Lenore and the others had revived and incapacitated the three headhunters they continued toward the mobile home.

(D.P.7 I#3) - On October 21, 1986, Dave attached his mobile home to his truck and the seven friends took to the highway to keep ahead of the Clinic. When Bloodhound, Shrapnel and Vice Versa pursued them in a police car, Randy sent his Anti-Body to attack them, causing their car to fly off the road. When Randy tried to assist the wreck, Lenore and the others disargreed with him.

(D.P.7 I#4) - On October 25, 1986, Jeff and Scuzz got into an argument but Lenore broke up the quarrel. Later, Lenore used her power on Jeff to reduce his shaking, allowing him to join Charlotte, Randy and Scuzz for dinner at a restaurant. Lenore stayed in the mobile home and took a shower, noticing to herself that she was feeling more "robust" recently. The light given off by Lenore's parability was seen by a posse who were searching for "the Wompus," a wild man of urban legend that was blamed for mutiliating local cattle. Drawn by Lenore's glow, the hunters saw Dave and accused him of being the Wompus; the sheriff in the posse arrested Dave. Unaware of where Dave had gone, the others went to bed and Lenore used her parability on Jeff to help him sleep, needing 30 seconds of exposure to her light to tranquilize him. When they learned what happened to Dave, Lenore the others tried to clear Dave's name but their investigations led nowhere so they decided to fake a cattle mutilation. At night, Lenore used her parability to tranquilize a cow then Jeff, garbed in a bear rug, appeared to the cow's owner as "the Wompus," running too fast to be hit by the farmer's shotgun. However, while leaving the farm Jeff stumbled across the actual cattle mutilators, a gang of college students. Jeff frightened them into confessing what they'd done to the authorities, securing Dave's release.

(Untold Tales of the Marvel Universe: D.P.7 I#1) - In late October, 1986, the seven friends helped break up a fight at the Screaming Eagle bar outside of Keshena, Wisconsin but the owner was frightened by their parabilities and told them to leave. Outside, they met Keso, who invited them to stay on the Menominee reservation nearby. Keso revealed he and his sister Seka were paranormals, Keso having the parability to communicate with spirits of the dead and Seka having the parability to raise the dead. Seka had turned against the tribe and used the dead to assault them. Keso asked the seven friends to assist him in confronting his sister. Lenore argued most passionately to the others that they should use their powers to do something unselfish. The seven finally agreed and fought Seka's reanimated corpses. Lenore used her parability against the corpses, which seemed to stun them. Randy ultimately halted Seka by using his Anti-Body to jar her out of her rage. The Menominee thanked the seven for their help and they departed the reservation in peace.

(Kickers, Inc. I#5) - On November 2, 1986, Stephanie learned her son had asked Kickers, Inc. to help her and she convinced the others to meet with them. The Kickers tried to help them but when the four male Kickers confronted the Clinic's staff, the Clinic's director, Philip Nolan Voigt and his assistant Reinforcer altered the Kickers' minds so they would see the seven paranormals as threats who needed to be in the Clinic's care. The Kickers attacked Dave, Jeff, Randy and Scuzz. Although the Kickers were soundly beaten, Lenore and the others realized the Clinic were bound to have followed the Kickers to their location, forcing the seven friends to board Dave's mobile home and flee.

(D.P.7 I#5) - On November 7, 1986, Stephanie asked Lenore to use her parability on her, hoping she could suppress her own parability. However, as Lenore exposed Stephanie to the full light of parability, Stephanie's sparks grew in intensity as though it were fighting her. She proved unable to tranquilize Stephanie or even reduce the sparks. Later, Jeff's mother suggested the group consult an exorcist to learn if demonic possession had caused their parabilities. Jeff brought the matter to the group and they began to argue about where their parabilities came from. Lenore was open-minded as to whether demonic possession was possible although when Randy suggested the White Event she agreed that none of them had demonstrated their parabilities until after the White Event. Scuzz wound up getting angry at the group for wanting to remove their parabilities and for not using the aliases he had given them and he chose to leave the group.

That evening, Stephanie gathered the other remaining five and led them in prayer, begging God for help and release from their paranormalities. The next day they met Jeff's mother, Thelma; Lenore used her parability to remove Jeff's shaking so he could hug Thelma. Thelma brought them to the exorcist, Rev. Armand Koehn. The six paranormals demonstrated their parabilities to Rev. Koehn and although he wasn't certain whether they were possessed by demons he agreed to perform an exorcism and explained what the exorcism would involve. When the exorcism began, Rev. Koehn started praying for each of them but when he touched Randy his Anti-Body emerged and transmitted its memories to him. Realizing the Anti-Body wasn't evil, Rev. Koehn determined they weren't possessed by demons so an exorcism wouldn't help them. Lenore comforted Stephanie as she wept while they left the priest.

(D.P.7 I#6) - On November 13, 1986, the remaining six in the group decided to split up. Dave traded in his mobile home to his uncle, who generously gave him a Winnebago. Dave, Stephanie and Lenore took the Winnebago to reunite Stephanie with her children while Randy, Jeff and Charlotte kept the truck and went looking for Scuzz. The two groups promised to meet up again within a week.

(D.P.7 I#7) - On December 4, 1986, Lenore, Dave and Stephanie arrived in Sheboygan and picked up Stephanie's son Ben as he was leaving school. Lenore accompanied Stephanie and Ben to the home of Helen Harrington, Stephanie's mother-in-law and Lenore used her light to tranquilize Helen while they ferried Stephanie's daughters Emily and Jill to the Winnebago. However, Stephanie's husband Chuck arrived and started a fight with Dave outside that ended with Chuck badly injured. To calm the children, Lenore used her light to tranquilize all three of them, angering Stephanie. Lenore telephoned an ambulance for Chuck. Dave and Lenore tried to leave town with Stephanie and the kids but Stephanie insisted they return to the hospital where Chuck was being tended to so she could heal him. A team of mercenaries hired by the Clinic captured Stephanie inside the hospital.

(D.P.7 I#8) - On December 5, 1986, Dave went to find Stephanie while Lenore once again used her parability on the three children. Lenore felt invigorated as her parability knocked them out and it took her a moment to realize she had stop exposing them to the light. When Dave returned to the Winnebago, fleeing hospital security, he was surprised to find Lenore still had her mask off as she indulged in her brief solitude. Dave and Lenore decided to return the children to their grandmother and returned to the house, where they placed the children in their beds. While Dave called a family friend to care for the children, a neighbor notified the police about the intruders in the Harrington house. The police arrived before Dave and Lenore could exit. Lenore decided to use her age to her advantage and sat in a chair, pretended she had been tied up and masked by the "intruders" the police had come to find. When the police lifted her mask, they were knocked out. Lenore repeated this strategy until four policemen were unconscious in the house. Exiting through the front door with their hands raised, Lenore shook off her mask and knocked out the other police waiting outside. Dave and Lenore returned to the Winnebago but a mercenary had snuck aboard the vehicle and he shot both of them with tranquilizer darts. One of the mercenaries prepared Lenore for shipment back to the Clinic while Dave escaped.

(D.P.7 I#10) - On December 9, 1986, Lenore, Scuzz, Randy, Charlotte and Stephanie were all back at the Clinic, where Regulator, Reinforcer and Receptor were combining their parabilities to rewrite their memories of the last few months and render them easier to manage when they were awakened.

(D.P.7 I#11) - When Stephanie resisted reconditioning she attempted to wake up Lenore using her body's sparks to break down the sedatives that kept Lenore asleep. However, Regulator put Stephanie to sleep again and just as Lenore began to stir, he put her to sleep as well.

(D.P.7 I#12) - In Early March, 1987, Lenore, Charlotte, Scuzz and Jeff completed their sessions with Regulator, Reinforcer and Receptor and were returned to Therapy Group C, under Dr. Semple's supervision. Weakened from weeks in hospital beds, all four needed wheelchairs as Dr. Semple took them through "reorientation." The four tried to recall the events that led to them leaving the Clinic as their new memories omitted all the events that implicated the Clinic. Randy's Anti-Body was blamed for influencing the others to leave the Clinic and Lenore recalled with distaste the time she used her parability on Helen Harrington. When Dave and Randy revived, neither one under the Clinic's control, they were shocked to discover how their friends' memories had been altered but resolved they couldn't force them to leave the Clinic. Randy and Dave wound up in a fight with Philip Nolan Voigt that ended with Voigt's seeming destruction.

(D.P.7 I#13) - Lenore, Jeff, Scuzz and Charlotte went to the gym for physical therapy and were pleasantly surprised when Dave and Randy came to join them. When therapy was over, Dave and Randy told the others they were staying and asked them to help find out what had happened to Stephanie to place her in a coma.

(D.P.7 I#14) - On July 20, 1987, Charlotte met with Lenore and the others in her group and told them she was leaving to join the Black Powers group.

(D.P.7 I#15) - Lenore dropped by Jeff's room to use her light to help him sleep. Lenore realized by constantly using her parability on Jeff she was increasing her own vitality. After putting Jeff to sleep, she staggered out, feeling almost intoxicated. Lenore went to the gym to work off the energy she had absorbed. When one of Randy's Anti-Bodies visited her, Lenore decided to test whether her light could affect it; the Anti-Body fled when her light touched it but Lenore felt a surge of energy from the Anti-Body. Still, she concluded the Anti-Body's energy wasn't as satisfying the energy she received from humans.

The next day, Lenore met with physical therapist Juris Ziegler, who told her she was fitter than some of his 40-year old patients. Ziegler suggested she seemed to grow younger each week and that if she kept it up, "every guy up here over 25 will be chasin' after you, me included!" Lenore was embarrassed but wondered if he was actually attracted to her. That afternoon, Lenore ran a class for the younger patients at the Clinic, including Scuzz, Evan Huebner, Annie Stevenson and Joel Larson. When she found Evan wasn't reading the right assignment she kept him after class. While tutoring Evan after class, Lenore felt her body craving more energy and she raised part of her glove to take some of Evan's energy, causing him to faint. Lenore realized it was becoming harder to resist taking energy and she was becoming an addict. When Evan awoke he apologized for falling asleep; Lenore sent him away, afraid she would be tempted again.

That night, Lenore told Jeff the energy she was taking from him had a bad effect on her and he'd have to find another means of getting to sleep at night. While trying to return to her room she found four of the Black Powers in a fight with Randy in the hall. Lenore used her parability to knock out all four men and Randy's Anti-Bodies, then brought Randy (who had been knocked out before Lenore arrived) to the Clinic staff for medical care. When Randy awoke and learned Lenore had been able to knock out his Anti-Bodies he suggested she use her parability on the "killer" Anti-Body he'd been trying to destroy but Lenore refused and admitted the struggles she'd been having recently with her parability. Returning to her room, Lenore considered shutting herself off from others to maintain control over her parability. However, realizing she still had a chance to know a man's "loving embrace," she invited Ziegler up to her room with non-toxic paint, asking him to paint her body so she could become intimate with him.

(D.P.7 I#17) - Lenore continued to remain secluded from the others. When Dave dropped by to deliver food he told her there was an important meeting at noon but Lenore refused to attend, saying he should take notes for her. Later, Charlotte visited Lenore and warned her a riot was bound to break out at the meeting as two of the Black Powers were planning to murder patients Freefall and Tangler. Although she was relucant to use her parability again, Lenore came when she heard the fighting. Opening her coat, she exposed the entire assembly room to her body's light, paralyzing about 20 patients and Clinic staffers, ending the riot. Lenore enjoyed the immense amount of energy she had absorbed but realized she would have to work it off quickly before her feelings of addiction returned.

(D.P.7 I#18) - On the night of December 23, 1987, Lenore was out jogging to work off the energy she'd absorbed. The following morning, Dave told Lenore he and some of the others were going in pursuit of Jeff, who'd fled the Clinic after learning of the destruction of Pittsburgh, where his family was visiting. Lenore insisted on accompanying them, having decided to end her isolation. Lenore, Dave, Randy and Charlotte were joined by Sponge, who supplied the group with winter clothing. After setting out in Dave's Winnebago they discovered Mutator had snuck aboard. As they neared Pittsburgh a military checkpoint tried to turn them around but Lenore paralyzed the soldiers and they continued until they decided to leave the Winnebago; Charlotte and Sponge arranged the hijacking of a military truck. They continued in the Army truck but eventually encountered so much debris on the road they decided to venture ahead on foot. Unfortunately they reached the edge of the Pitt - a vast crater - and the entire group fell in.

(D.P.7 I#19) - Dave smashed a handhold into the side of the Pitt and caught Lenore, while Charlotte used her parability to stick everyone to the side. Randy used his Anti-Bodies to ferry Lenore, Mutator and Sponge to the surface but the Anti-Bodies were mistaken for threats by Jenny Swensen, piloting the Spitfire armor. Randy and Charlotte returned to the surface, looking for help to carry Dave to the top. Charlotte and Lenore both used their parabilities on Spitfire as they were the only ones with distance-based poweres. Although Lenore's light seemed to have no effect, Charlotte gummed up the armor and crashed it. Randy convinced Jenny they weren't threats and when her armor was repaired she rescued Dave, along with Jeff, whom Dave had discovered at the bottom of the Pitt.

(D.P.7 I#20) - With Dave traumatized by his ordeal, the group carried Dave and Jeff to a basement to care for them. Lenore, Merriam, Charlotte, Randy and Jenny huddled together under a blanket for warmth. Lenore felt uncomfortable being so close to others after her long isolation. They were interrupted when one of Randy's Anti-Bodies alerted him that Mutator was in danger on the surface. Lenore joined Jenny, Charlotte and Merriam to find Mutator being threatened by a gang of scavengers called the Wardogs. Charlotte made their guns slip out of their hands and Lenore paralyzed all but one of them. When the final Wardog charged Lenore with a knife, Charlotte made the knife slip from his hand while Lenore paralyzed him. Suddenly they were attacked by the Wardogs' leader, Pit Bull, a superhumanly strong paranormal. Lenore attempted to paralyze him as well but Pit Bull was somehow immune to her parability. Jenny stunned him with a grenade but he soon revived. Lenore, Charlotte and Jenny carried Mutator with them into a wrecked car to hide from Pit Bull.

(D.P.7 I#21 (fb)) - Lenore, Charlotte, Jenny and Mutator returned to the basement to find Randy, Dave, Jeff and Merriam were gone. Jenny set out to the nearest U.S. Army base to see if they'd been taken prisoner. Lenore, Charlotte and Mutator waited for two days but Jenny didn't return.

(D.P.7 I#21) - On January 3, 1988, Mutator's form shifted into a bird-like appearance and he flew Lenore and Charlotte above the wreckage of the Pitt. Unable to spot their friends, Mutator set them down near an Army base. Mutator offered to draw the Army's fire so Charlotte and Lenore could approach the base but Lenore refused to let Mutator sacrifice himself, insisting she was his friend and hugging him. Mutator was touched by Lenore's kindness but started to fly, only to be immediately shot down by soldiers. When the soldiers neared her, Lenore tricked one into removing her mask and started to paralyze them but a rear guard soldier observing from a distance fired a shot into Lenore's back.

(D.P.7 I#23 (fb)) - The Army proved to have been using tranquilizers in their rifles. Charlotte and Lenore were transferred to a special holding facility and were interrogated by the Army as to why they'd been at the Pitt. Eventually they learned the draft had been reinstated and the Army were building a Paranormal Platoon but women couldn't be drafted, only volunteer. Charlotte and Lenore were pressured to "volunteer" until Ms. Dobish of the C.I.A. intervened. The C.I.A. were building their own team of paranormal recruits. Ms. Dobish made the C.I.A. sound much better than the Army, so Charlotte and Lenore joined, moving to a training center at Langley, Maryland. They discovered Merriam Sorensen had likewise been convinced to join the C.I.A. Lenore began learning judo.

(D.P.7 I#23) - On April 24, 1988, Lenore, Charlotte and Merriam were in a training exercise where Charlotte and Merriam were equipped with protective clothing that Lenore's light couldn't penetrate. Charlotte tried to make Lenore slide on the floor but Lenore used a judo toss to fling Charlotte and Merriam into each other, then removed their masks to knock them out. Lenore took care to check on Charlotte after the sparring session, afraid she might have exposed her to too much light. After the session, Lenore met with Ms. Dobish, who told Lenore she'd proved so capable she could write her own ticket anywhere in military intelligence. Ms. Dobish took Lenore to see Jenny Swensen, who had been transferred to them from the Army. Jenny's body had begun to mutate as a metallic substance grew over her skin. Jenny begged Lenore to tranquilize her so hard that she would die. As Jenny started to break out of her restraints, Lenore finally tranquilized her - but only to put her to sleep. Afterward, in the quarters she shared with Merriam and Charlotte, Lenore told them what had happened to Jenny. Lenore decided they should learn if Stephanie was out of her coma because her parability might help Jenny. By the time Lenore arrived at Stephanie's home in Sheboygan, Stephanie had been about to flee the country for Canada to avoid the Army. Instead, Lenore asked Stephanie to join the C.I.A.

(D.P.7 I#24) - Lenore returned with Stephanie and her family as Stephanie agreed to join the C.I.A. As Stephanie proved a quick study at martial arts, Lenore congratulated her when she bested two armed men in combat. However, Stephanie's parability couldn't reverse Jenny's transformation. Jenny's skin was entirely covered with metal and Lenore mused that for all her problems with her own skin, at least she still had skin.

(D.P.7 I#26) - On August 4, 1988, Lernore, Jenny, Stephanie, Merriam and Charlotte were sent on their first field mission for the C.I.A., in which they were dispatched to investigate a supposed "biological weapon" that had been accidentally released into the Amazon jungle of Brazil. Unknown to the five women, the "weapon' was actually the horrific paranormal the Famileech, an amoeba-like creature that consumed humans, adding to its mass. The women found the remains of a village the Famileech had devastated and made camp nearby. That night, the Famileech attacked them. Lenore attempted to paralyze the Famileech with her light but it seemed to have no effect, likely due to its tremendous mass. Stephanie tried to defend herself and Lenore by waving a fiery tree trunk at the Famileech, but Lenore tripped and was seemingly consumed by the Famileech. When Stephanie waved the flaming trunk over the spot where Lenore fell, only Lenore's wig and mask turned up. The other women spent hours searching for Lenore but finally had to return to the USA without her.

Given that Lenore's parability came directly from her skin, it's always possible it protected her in some manner from being consumed by the Famileech.

    Lenore received a Marvel Handbook-style profile in D.P.7 I#24.

"D.P.7" was the name of the series the characters from Therapy Group C appeared in but their informal group never went by that name. For that matter, Lenore seldom ever answered to "Twilight."

Lenore appeared in D.P.7 I#9 only as a character in Randy O'Brien's mind while he was being reconditioned by Receptor and Reinforcer.

In a cemetery in Avengers West Coast I#65, you can see a tombstone for a Lenore Fenzl who died in 1989 - next to a Dave Landers who lived 1986-1989. Earth-616 counterparts of Lenore and Dave? Nah, just an Easter egg; it was drawn by Paul Ryan.

    Lenore's Earth-15731 counterpart appeared in Exiles I#72.
