History:

(Psi-Force I#17 (fb) - BTS) - Troublemaker became a parnormal following the White Event (July 22, 1986) caused by the Star Brand. At some point he joined the mercenary forces of the Medusa Web.

(Psi-Force I#17) - On October 23, 1987, the Medusa Web's leader, Babel, sent Troublemaker and Imprint to San Francisco, California to monitor the teenaged paranormals comprising Psi-Force so he could determine whether they should be recruited into the Medusa Web. Imprint fromed a link between himself and Troublemaker so that anything either one of them saw would be digitally recorded by Imprint's parability. Heading to St. Mary's Cathedral where Psi-Force's telepathic member Wayne Tucker was praying, Troublemaker used his thoughts to send the message, "Tucker! Wayne, baby-- ain't no forgiveness to be had for you!" Tucker was shocked to realize someone nearby knew he could hear their thoughts but couldn't pinpoint where it had come from.

Troublemaker went to a shopping area where Psi-Force's Thomas Boyd, Anastasia Inyushin and Kathy Ling were shopping. To draw them out, Troublemaker stole a woman's purse. Boyd gave chase after him but Troublemaker threw him off-balance by making references to what he knew of Boyd's personal life, then used his parability to quickly overwhelm Boyd in a fight then throw him over a railing into a fountain; Kathy Ling used her telekinesis to soften Boyd's landing.

On November 25, 1987, Troublemaker drew Psi-Force into another fight, this time telephoning the Sanctuary youth shelter where they lived and telling them to meet him at Golden Gate Park. This time all five teens faced Troublemaker but he quickly ambushed them, punching Tucker unconscious then pinching one of Inyushin's nerves. As Troublemaker started to fight Boyd he was suddenly attacked by Tyrone Jessup, using his astral form. When Jessup's astral form flew through Troublemaker's body, it disrupted his connection to Imprint. Concerned that their entire operation might fail, Troublemaker decided to flee but Boyd, Ling and Jessup pursued him to the park's edge. Ling telekinetically restrained Troublemaker and Boyd began to pummel him, using his parability to leech energy from Troublemaker with each punch. Revived, Tucker interrogated the beaten Troublemaker and he truthfully told them he'd been sent to spy on them and get their parabilities on film. However, Troublemaker indicated a nearby concealed video camera as the means by which Psi-Force had been recorded. Tucker destroyed the tape and Inyushin healed Troublemaker's wounds before they left the park. Troublemaker then met with Imprint, who confirmed he'd recorded everything using his parability.

(Psi-Force I#18) - On December 18, 1987, Troublemaker was with Babel when Backfire reported in from Seattle to say his team of Medusa Web agents had fought Tucker, Jessup and fellow paranormal Lindsey Falmon and lost. As Imprint was with Backfire's team, Troublemaker checked to hear that he was okay. Babel told Troublemaker it would up to him, Gatto di Sangue, Potiphar, Relampago, Skybreaker and Toocheetsch to deal with the other three Psi-Force members: Boyd, Inyushin and Ling.

(Psi-Force I#19 (fb) - BTS) - On December 24, 1987, the Medusa Web fought Boyd, Inyushin and Ling but the three teenagers evaded capture. They clashed again soon after in San Clemente.

(Psi-Force I#19) - On January 2, 1988, the Medusa Web followed Boyd, Inyushin and Ling to San Diego, where the teens attempted to hide in Horton Plaza. Troublemaker clashed with Boyd but Boyd threw him over a railing; Troublemaker landed safely and declared, "guess we're even now," in reference to his first fight with Boyd. Relampago was killed fighting Inyushin and Troublemaker confirmed Relampago's death, but collected the unconscious Inyushin. Once all three teenagers were beaten, the C.I.A. brusquely claimed custody of them and paid off the Medusa Web, ending the assignment.

(Justice II#28/2) - Troublemaker accompanied Dustoff, Potiphar and Skybreaker on a mission to Canada where they liberated C.I.A. operative Jake Travest from the Canadians then brought him to where his M.A.X. armor had been impounded. Once Travest located the disc containing the armor's schematics, the Medusa Web claimed the disc and killed Travest while destroying the armor; their true purpose had been to ensure they could build their own suits of armor.

(Justice II#28) - Troublemaker accompanied Babel and Imprint on a trip to the National Security Council to collect John Tensen (alias Justice) as an ally in rescuing Psi-Force from the USSR's Siberian Project. Troublemaker was present to serve as Babel's bodyguard. Troublemaker encountered the paranormal Shudderbug at the NSC and mocked his weight, comparing him to Toocheetsch. When they met Justice, Troublemaker wasn't impressed by his slovenly appearance but Justice threatened to rip Troublemaker apart with his 'shield' parability. Justice agreed to assist the Medusa Web in rescuing Psi-Force.

(Justice II#29 (fb)) - The NSC's paranormal Playback used her parability on a cross that Psi-Force's Wayne Tucker owned but her parability didn't define anything to assist the Medusa Web and Justice on their mission.

(Psi-Force I#29) - On October 5, 1988, Troublemaker joined the Medusa Web and Justice in storming the Siberian Project to rescue Psi-Force. Although Justice and Troublemaker still didn't like each other they fought the facility's guards and successfully liberated Psi-Force.

(Justice II#29) - While trying to leave Russian airspace, Babel's helicopter was shot down and the tranport carrying Troublemaker, Psi-Force, Justice and most of the other Medusa Web agents landed in the snow to assist Babel. A land force of Russian soldiers emerged and attacked them; Boyd forced Troublemaker to carry Wayne Tucker, who wasn't yet able to walk after his hospitalization. The Russian soldiers were soon joined by the paranormal Red Star team and finally Rodstvow himself.

(Psi-Force I#30) - Rodstvow attempted to kill Justice, Psi-Force, the Medusa Web and even his fellow members of Red Star. Tucker used his telepathy to plan a joint attack of all the paranormals against Rodstvow. Troublemaker continued to carry Tucker on his back during the fight. The others focused their ranged attacks on one of Rodstvow's shoulders until they could crack his protective shell. Even after cracking open Rodstvow's shell and killing him his skeletal form remained animated and continued its assault until they manipulated Dehman Doosha into unleashing his pryokinesis against the skeleton and completely eradicated him. Once Rodstvow's threat had ended, Justice turned against Psi-Force, seeking to judge them for their earlier ill-conceived fight with Rodstvow in Washington D.C.

(Justice II#30) - While Justice engaged in a mental struggle against Psi-Force where he confronted them for their past actions, Troublemaker helped stand guard over their bodies. When they revived, Troublemaker was shocked at how easily Psi-Force reconciled with Justice despite his attempt at killing them.
