History:

(Psi-Force I#18 (fb) - BTS) - Electrique was a French woman who became a parnormal following the White Event (July 22, 1986) caused by the Star Brand. At some point she joined the mercenary forces of the Medusa Web. She worked on assignments with her allies Backfire and Thunderhead and they complained about her recklessness in the field. She apparently used more force than was necessary while in the field in Cairo, Egypt.

(Psi-Force I#18) - The C.I.A. hired the Medusa Web to capture Psi-Force for them after the team's San Francisco home Sanctuary was destroyed (by the paranormal Rodstvow). Fellow mercenaries Imprint, Backfire and Thunderhead located Psi-Force's Wayne Tucker at a hotel in Seattle, Washington and their leader Babel ordered Electrique to be the one to handle Tucker (possibly because she was immune to Tucker's parability). On December 18, 1987, Electrique invaded the hotel as Tucker was in a confrontation with hotel owner Gene Marriss and one of his staffers. Travelling through the hotel by entering and exiting through electrical outlets, Electrique suddenly appeared before Tucker, Marris and the staffer. Although they pose no threat to her, Electrique showed off her parability, blasting Marris and the staffer with electricity, knocking them out a window to their apparent deaths.

Tucker fled the hotel room and reached the first floor but Backfire and Thunderhead had entered the hotel after seeing the bodies fall from the seventh floor. Just as Electrique caught up to them on the first floor, Tucker's girlfriend Lindsey Falmon drove her car through a window and into the hotel to help Tucker escape. Having realized he couldn't affect Electrique, Tucker used his telepathy to "push" Thunderhead into attacking Electrique, giving them cover to escape.

Once Tucker's control over Thunderhead faded, Backfire tried to order Electrique in French leave before the Seattle police arrived. Electrique mocked Backfire, saying, "Your French is as pathetic as your fighting skills," but she flew into an electrical outlet to avoid being seen by the police. Taking flight, Electrique caught up to Tucker and Falmon in their car near the Space Needle and drained the car's battery so they would halt. Electrique ordered them to exit the car or she would electrify the vehicle and kill them both where they sat. However, Tucker's teammate Tyrone Jessup suddenly flew through Electrique with his astral form; the electromagnetism in Jessup's astral body disrupted Electrique's body and caused her to disperse. The Medusa Web were left uncertain whether or not she'd been killed.
