Powers: Smoke's body seemed to be partially composed of living smoke. He could also generate smoke and use it offensively in battle.
History: (X-Force#119)- Smoke presumably was secretly recruited by Coach, not for X-Force, but for his own rather unknown purposes. Smoke first appeared when the Coach sent him and Succubus to reprimand the Orphan for not doing as he said. A battle erupted between X-Force and Smoke and Succubus until the Coach called it off.
(X-Force
#120)- The Coach later sent Smoke and Succubus after the Orphan
again and this time, Wolverine arrived to save him by killing
both of the mutants.

Smoke must have been still partially flesh, as Wolverine slicing him in two seemed to have major detrimental effects on his health. But like most sand/smoke/mist/gas based beings, reforming is always a possibility.
