History:
(IVX#3 (fb) - BTS) - Growing up, the girl who would become Naja heard her parents always tell her that she would go to hell one day.

(Uncanny Inhumans Annual#1 (fb) - BTS) - After emerging from Terrigenesis with her powers, the young woman looked through a website for the word snake in other languages, and she chose to call herself Naja, a word for cobra in India.

(Inhuman#5 (fb) - BTS) - After undergoing Terrigenesis, Naja snuck into the city of Attilan, staying on the perimeters in the public areas.

(Inhuman#4 - BTS) - Naja saw Flint and Inferno interact with Thor in New Attilan. She overheard them talking about how they got help adapting to their powers, and decided to follow them.

(Inhuman#5 (fb) - BTS) - Naja snuck behind Flint and Inferno into Yuri's club in New York City, nervously eating a mouse.

(Inhuman#5) - Naja revealed herself nervously to Inferno and Flint as a new Inhuman. When Yuri was racist toward Naja, Inferno led them out of the club. They promised to take Naja into Attilan, but when they arrived, they found that Medusa had been dethroned by the Unspoken.

(Inhuman#6) - After watching New Attilan from afar and gathering intel, Naja flew Jason and Inferno over to the opposite shore. She confessed that her skin tended to change color based on how she was feeling. They found Inferno's sister, Gabriella Pertuz, with her doctor, Vinatos, and he explained some of New Attilan's history to them. Vinatos led Inferno and Jason in an attack on the Unspoken, and Naja, learning to control her camouflaging ability, snuck behind them and killed one of the guards. After Jason and Inferno weakened the Unspoken, Naja knocked the king out. Medusa was soon freed.

(Inhuman#8) - Naja checked on Gabriela Pertuz and her unborn child.

(Inhuman#9) - Elejea welcomed Sterilon, Lineage, Frank McGee, Triton, Ms. Marvel, Inferno, Gabriela Pertuz, Gorgon, Naja, and others to the funeral for Vinatos. Medusa shockingly entered, her personality having been inverted by a spell, and she cruelly flung Vinatos' coffin out into the river.

(All-New Invaders#15 (fb) ) - Medusa took a team of Inhumans, including Gorgon, Triton, Flint, and Naja, to intervene in a battle in Germany, where the Invaders were battling Uber Alles, armored Nazis, and Lash. Lash soon teleported away with Uber Alles, ending the fight.

(Amazing Spider-Man Special#1) - When Bird-Men attacked New Attilan, Iso, Grid, Inferno, and Naja stood against them, but Triton had to save them when they were overwhelmed. Spider-Man arrived to help, with Medusa and Gorgon, and they all soon passed through Eldrac to Sky-Island. After a brief battle with Red Raven, Gorgon, Triton, and Medusa were captured, and Red Raven sent the others plummeting through the sky toward the city below.

(Inhuman Special#1) - Spider-Man used webbing to break the fall of the four Inhumans, and they climbed back up the rocky island (with Naja lifting Iso, Inferno melting rocky handholds, and Flint clinging to the rock with his powers). They battled mutated Bird-Men, then Captain America (Sam Wilson) joined them.

(All-New Captain America Special#1) - Captain America and Spider-Man battled Red Raven and the Bird-Men alongside the Inhumans, soon defeating them. When Sky-Island went crashing toward the city below, Flint used his powers to slow the rock, and Iso manipulated air currents to get it to land in the river, saving thousands of lives.

(Inhuman#12) - Inferno, Frank McGee, Naja, and Flint defended New Attilan against the military forces of Ennilux. Black Bolt arrived and easily defeated the forces, impressing the others. Naja went with Inferno and Elejea to meet the newly arrived Iso, who was assigned to be Naja's roommate.

(Inhuman#13) - Inferno played the drums for a gathering of Inhumans, including Naja, Iso, Flint, Gabriela, and Gorgon in a local bar. Naja remained very secretive about her past life, and the others perceived that she enjoyed being Inhuman. Gorgon sang and Inferno lost himself in the music until he started to set himself on fire. Iso and Flint got him to safety.

(Inhuman#14) - Naja wore a clothespin on her nose as a healing Inferno smelled poorly. When Gabriela went into labor, Naja helped Iso track Gorgon.

(Inhuman Annual#1) - Naja heard Lineage speak telepathically to all of the Inhumans, saying it was time to seize power. Inferno, Naja, and Flint were at the hospital waiting for Gabriela to give birth when Lockjaw arrived suddenly, teleporting them to Jersey City to help Ms. Marvel, there fighting humans that were being mutated by Lineage from afar.

(Free Comic Book Day 2015: Avengers#1) - Naja joined Medusa, Lockjaw, Triton, and the Human Torch in rescuing two new Inhumans, Ajay Roy and Dinesh Deol, from a Hydra attack in Mumbai. Naja took time to help Dinesh adapt to his new condition.

(Captain America and the Mighty Avengers#9) - Naja was among the heroes protecting civilians during the final incursion.

(Uncanny Inhumans#1/2) - McGee and Naja recruited Flint for a mission to find missing Inhuman children in Morocco. They helped liberate Glass Girl from the criminals there.

(All-New Inhumans#1/1 (fb) - BTS) - Naja joined Crystal's team in the Royal Inhuman Diplomatic Mission. They planned to use the Royal Inhuman Vessel to travel the world and rescue Inhumans from dangerous situations. Crystal sent Naja to Sydney, Australia, instructing her to investigate a captive Inhuman there.

(All-New Inhumans#1/1) - Naja remained camouflaged, watching a blue-skinned Inhuman named Ash Minnick in a cage, while a paramilitary unit, including Inhuman Jack, threatened to kill her. Crystal, Grid, Captain Swain, and Gorgon arrived to aid in the fight, and Naja freed Minnick at the last minute. Flint hugged Naja tightly, thrilled to see his old friend. The team stopped to investigate a Skyspear in the Outback, and Gorgon translated a word on the side in an ancient Inhuman dialect, that read "genocide". Just then, Swain informed them the cloud was passing over Sin-Cong.

(All-New Inhumans#2) - As Crystal led a mission into Sin-Cong, Naja remained behind with Ash (now called Panacea) and Grid to investigate mysterious energy sources from nearby buildings. They soon found a group of civilians who'd been mutated by radiation, a product of the Commissar's drive to create weapons for Hydra.

(All-New Inhumans#3) - Naja, Grid, and Panacea received a directive from Crystal to look into a particular building, and Naja knocked out guards as Grid overwhelmed the security systems. Inside, they found mutated super-beings in cages, and Grid begged Panacea to help them. Panacea healed two of the mutates, and then killed the third with a brain aneurysm, unable to cure him. Naja, Flint, and Panacea soon saw that the Commissar and his armored soldiers had captured Crystal and Flint, and they went to war with the soldiers.

(All-New Inhumans#4) - Naja was held captive until Crystal deescalated the conflict in Sin-Cong. Naja later saw Panacea heal Flint, who'd been subjected to poison gas.

(Gwenpool Special#1) - Naja was among the heroes to attend Hellcat's holiday party.

(All-New Inhumans#5) - As Gorgon and Panacea watched, Naja sparred with Jack. Naja tried helping Jack find motivation to thrive as an Inhuman. When Jack escaped through a teleporter, Naja called to warn Medusa and her forces.

(All-New Inhumans#6) - Lockjaw teleported Gorgon, Naja, and Panacea to the Inhumans armory on the Moon, where they searched for Jack. Jack attacked with an energy rifle, refusing to surrender as he shot Gorgon. Jack escaped into space, but the Inhumans apprehended him.

(Thunderbolts IV#2) - Crystal led Naja, Flint, Gorgon, and Grid to a warehouse, where the Thunderbolts had seemingly destroyed several Inhuman cocoons.

(Thunderbolts IV#3) - The Inhumans attacked the Thunderbolts, with Naja tackling Moonstone. Fixer hacked in to the R.I.V., forcing the Thunderbolts to stand down while the Thunderbolts escaped.

(All-New Inhumans#10) - When the Terrigen Cloud approached Utolan in Mozambique, Naja rushed in to help Flint finish a fight with his sister, Ikelli. Grid, Naja, and Flint left with Gorgon and the refugees.

(Uncanny Inhumans Annual#1) - The Inhumans (including Naja, Inferno, Grid, and Crystal) helped contain the threat of Kludge in India. Grid took Naja and Inferno into Mumbai, and they met Grid's family, including Anoop, Adhira, Devi, and Naja apologized if her name was offensive in any way. Naja and Inferno went shopping with Devi and promised to help her cook after. Later, Grid and his parents were kidnapped by Banyan, and Grid managed to send out a distress signal to Naja and Inferno. They burst in and Inferno set Banyan on fire, seemingly destroying him by accident when the fire raged out of control.

(All-New Inhumans#11) - Naja joined the team in saving mutants from the Terrigen Mists. Grid, Flint, and Naja later played "capture the flag" before meeting Crystal's daughter, Luna. Later, they attended Crystal's birthday party.

(All-New X-Men II#13) - Crystal's team, including Naja, helped Romeo contain a new moth-like Inhuman, seeing the X-Men there.

(Uncanny Inhumans#13) - In New Attilan, many Inhumans gathered, expecting an attack from Iron Man; forces in waiting included Inferno, Grid, Flint, Naja, Ms. Marvel, Iso, Reader (with Forey), Black Bolt, and Karnak.

(Uncanny Inhumans#14) - Iron Man's drones took over New Attilan and captured Black Bolt. Iso gathered Reader, Flint, Grid, Naja, Inferno, and others as Karnak challenged her to take control of defending Attilan.

(Death of X#1) - Crystal, Gorgon, Flint, Grid, Naja, and Iso approached Matsumoto, Japan aboard the R.I.V. as the Terrigen Cloud approached. Hydra agents attacked and the Inhumans fought back. The Inhumans were nearly overwhelmed before the new Inhuman, Daisuke, attacked and put all the Hydra agents to sleep.

(Death of X#2) - When the mutants realized that the Terrigen Cloud was fatal to mutants, they panicked, and Crystal's team was sent to Barcelona to help save any mutants exposed there. Grid, Gorgon, Flint, and Naja were sent to the surface to help while the others diverted the cloud. When civilians began to panic, Crystal ordered Daisuke to put everyone in the city to sleep, including the X-Men, while the Inhumans remained immune.

(Death of X#3) - Flint and the others helped Daisuke take the code name Downer. The X-Men awakened and aggressively confronted the Inhumans, with Iceman and Flint nearly coming to blows. Magneto then arrived, placing the Inhumans behind a metal barrier, while Magik took Downer into Limbo.

(Death of X#4) - Naja sparred with Wolfsbane as the fight accelerated. Soon, the X-Men destroyed one of the Terrigen Clouds, and Black Bolt seemingly killed Cyclops.

(All-New X-Men II#17) - When the X-Men attacked New Attilan, Naja sparred with Colossus.

(IVX#2) - When the X-Men stormed New Attilan, Naja sparred with Iceman and Wolverine (Laura Kinney) before Magik teleported her to Limbo, trapping her there with other Inhumans.

(IVX#3) - Naja, Flint, Medusa, Frank McGee, the Human Torch, Gorgon, and others were trapped in Limbo. McGee suggested they find the X-Men headquarters, which was in Limbo, and find their way home.

(IVX#4) - Medusa found a way to overload the shield containing them, using the powers of the others, then the group escaped and defeated the Limbo demons who attacked them. They soon attacked the mansion, then Colossus attacked.

(IVX#5) - In Limbo, Medusa led McGee, Flint, Naja, and the Human Torch to battle robots while Gorgon held off Colossus. They found Havok holding Black Bolt in stasis, but Havok chose to let him go without a fight rather than kill him. Reader (with Forey), Synapse, Lockjaw, and Karnak teleported in to help the others escape to the Phillipines.

(IVX#6) - Lockjaw teleported Medusa, Naja, Reader (with Forey), Karnak, Black Bolt, Flint, Frank McGee, and Synapse to Iceland, where they joined with Ms. Marvel, Crystal, Grid, Inferno, Quake, and Mosaic in facing off with the X-Men. Emma seized mental control over some of the Inhumans, forcing them to fight their allies. Naja knocked out Storm, not realizing that Mosaic was possessing her. As the Inhumans began realizing Emma Frost had been manipulating events, Iso, Moon Girl (with Devil Dinosaur), and Forge arrived from Ennilux with a device that would destroy the Terrigen Cloud, as they realized that not doing so would result in the death of all mutants on Earth. Medusa destroyed the Cloud, and Emma Frost was exposed as being behind events. She launched a group of Inhuman-hunting Sentinels and they opened fire on the Ennilux ships, killing many. Medusa was ready to defeat Frost, but Havok turned on her and teleported away with Frost. Medusa delivered the news of the Terrigen destruction to her people, then she abdicated the throne, giving it over to Iso. Iso planned to hold elections.

(Inhumans Prime#1) - Naja was among the Inhumans who helped take down the Unspoken and Maximus the Mad.

(Mosaic#6) - Naja and others saw Lockjaw go berserk in New Attilan before realizing the dog had been possessed by Mosaic.

(Uncanny Inhumans#20/2) - Naja joined other Inhumans in celebrating Medusa at the Quiet Room.

(Secret Warriors II#2 (fb) ) - Outside New Attilan, Inferno, Naja, Grid, and Frank McGee saw Hydra, led by Mr. Hyde, invade the city and take many captive, including Iso. They stayed in hiding in the city for a few days, and they ended up battling Hydra when soldiers identified them. Inferno's powers were overloaded and he abandoned the others, who were captured and put in prison.

(Captain America: Steve Rogers#17) - In the New Attilan prison, Naja befriended new Inhuman Barf and introduced him to Iso.

(Captain America VIII#25) - The Inhumans staged a jailbreak with the help of heroes, including Captain America (Sam Wilson), who Iso and Naja thanked.

(Black Bolt#8) - When Black Bolt and Blinky landed in the city, Iso, Grid, Naja, Auran, and Frank McGee were ready to attack, assuming it was Maximus in disguise. They realized quickly that it was actually Black Bolt when Lockjaw appeared.

(Secret Warriors II#10) - In New Attilan, Inferno tried connecting with Grid and Naja, but they were upset with having been abandoned.

(Secret Warriors II#11) - A large group of Inhumans, including Naja, teleported to the Tower of Wisdom to battle Mr. Sinister and the Unhumans. After the battle, Iso had the Tower of Wisdom and Mr. Sinister's Terrigen research destroyed, determining a new future for the Inhumans.

(Death of Inhumans#1) - Vox attacked New Arctilan, and Naja lay at his feet, among those seemingly killed.

Comments: Created by Charles Soule and Ryan Stegman.

Naja is one of the most unique and powerful Inhumans, yet she has surprisingly little character development or backstory. It's very likely she survived Vox's attack.
