Known Relatives: None
Aliases: Guardsman Smasher
Base of Operations: Formerly the Shi'ar Flagship, Hammer II
First Appearance: X-Men: Kingbreaker#4 (May, 2009)
Powers/Abilities: As with Vril Rokk, Smasher possesses the ability to absorb ambient cosmic energies to augment his strength, and is resistant to physical injury. He also has some flight abilities, although it's unrevealed if they are natural abilities or though the use of Shi'ar anti-gravity technology. (see comments)
History: (X-Men: Kingbreaker#4) - Smasher participated in the attack on the Starjammers in the underwater prison known as "The Hole" on Kr'kn. He was shocked when a Hodinn entered the battlefield and killed it along with Warstar and Firebolt after Havok had drained the Hodinn of its energy. He was later teleported out of the prison before it collapsed under the water masses.
(War of Kings#1 (fb) - BTS) - Salac Tuur was selected to replace the late Vril Rokk as Smasher, loyal member of the Shi'ar Imperial Guard.
(War of Kings#1) - Smasher joined his fellow Guardsmen aboard the Shi'ar flagship, Hammer II. Met by Shi'ar Emperor Vulcan (who was curious about Smasher's presence, having murdered the first Smasher and unaware of the replacement), the Imperial Guard launched their assault against the Kree, arriving during the wedding of Ronan the Accuser of the Kree and Crystal of the Inhumans. Smasher's attack was short-lived, ending when Karnak of the Inhumans broke his neck with a kick.

The full extent of Smasher's powers and abilities was unrevealed in his debut, but it's assumed he possesses the Exospecs used by his predecessor and successor.
If you can't quite place the main image in your copy of War of Kings#1, it's because it was upside down in the actual issue (but shifted around since it was the best image of Salac Tuur).
Smasher's death was confirmed by the appearance of a new Smasher in War of Kings#3.
The Smasher shown in X-Men: Kingbreaker#4 (May, 2009) under the command of Vulcan against the Havok-led Starjammers was dressed as Vril Rokk (with hair exposed), but Vril was dead by then, already slain by Vulcan.
So one could assume that the Smasher in Kingbreaker was Salac Tuur. However, disregarding the slightly different outfit, Vulcan makes no comment about this Smasher, although in War of Kings, he tells Salac that he had thought he had killed Smasher, yet Kingbreaker predates War of Kings.
It may be that the Smasher in Kingbreaker was yet another one and that he died in the fight with the Starjammers, although presumably not by Vulcan's hand.
