Powers/Abilities:Mant had an insect-like appearance, which included mandibles with enough crushing strength to break through wood. His other insect-like traits included giant, insect-like eyes (which possibly gave him 360-degree vision) and a seemingly segmented body. He also had antennae on his head and small spines on his forearms and abdomen.

head shotHistory:  (X-Force I#129) - When X-Force visited their bush leagues in an attempt to find a replacement mutant for the recently deceased U-Go Girl, they arrived in time to see "Mant" battling against Sycamore in hopes of becoming the new team member. When Sycamore reached at Mant with his root-like hands, "Mant" used his insect-like mandibles to bite off Sycamore's fingers.

Comments: Created by Peter Milligan and Duncan Fegredo.

Mant's real name and codename were revealed in Anarchist's entry in OHotMU A-Z Hardcover#1.
