    Trimeth is an extraterrestrial being, but no specific abilities or skills were demonstrated or described. As he(?) was part of a party assigned to investigate the slaughter at the Hub, he(?) presumably possessed advanced investigative, forensic, analytical or other skills that would facilitate this search.

History:
(Starmasters#1 (fb) - BTS / Starmasters#3 (fb) - BTS / FF: 50 Fantastic Years) - Axi-Tun leader Votan’s agents stole a Rigellian Planet-Lock device, which they used to transport and launch immense planetoids to cause extinction-level events on target worlds.

(Starmasters#1 - BTS) - Votan's agent's Ramrog's ship used the Planet-Lock to transport their Planetoid Bomb device to slay the inhabitants of Arcturus IV.

(Starmasters#1 - BTS) - When the Charter approached Earth to establish peaceful relations, Votan's agents released their "hybrid cosmic plague" into the Hub base, headquarters of the Charter, which killed everyone aboard -- all 10,451 Charter delegates aboard the Hub-- with the exception of the visiting Quasar.

(Starmasters#3 (fb) - BTS) - Three Rigellians were on the Hub and perished in this attack.

(Starmasters#1 - BTS) - The Axi-Tun framed Protector of the Universe Quasar for the slaughter via altered video footage. Tana received the broadcast, noting the impertinence and wondering how Earth had changed since last she visited it.

(Starmasters#1 - BTS) - Ramrog's ship used the Planet-Lock device to send a planetoid to destroy Earth. The planetoid was ultimately destroyed by the combined efforts of Beta Ray Bill, Quasar, and the Silver Surfer.

(Starmasters#3 - BTS) - Prime Administrator Tana Nile led a group of three other organic beings -- Trimeth and two others (with the trio presumably composing the Mneena search party) -- and 24 Recorders to the Hub to investigate the cause of the deaths of the Charter delegates. Recorder 901-E reported the search parties' activities.

(Starmasters#3 (fb) - BTS) - Trimeth and his two associates encountered and were captured a group of Axi-Tun warriors led by Dampyre and Throk.

    Almost certainly under duress, Trimeth contacted Tana, telling her he was at freight dock 149-Q and that she had better come there. She asked if he had discovered something, and Trimeth replied, Yes."

(Starmasters#3) - Tana Nile had 901-E accompany her to document the findings of the Mneena search party. Arriving at the freight dock, they found Trimeth and the other two organics in the custody of the Axi-Tun. When Dampyre ordered Tana to surrender or they would kill their captives, Tana readily complied.

(Cosmic Powers Unlimited#4 - BTS) - Morfex -- with assistance from Quasar -- posed as the Axi-Tun agent Sidereus and pressured Axi-Tun guards to turn the prisoners over to him.

    Perhaps seven or more other prisoners -- including at least four Recorders -- were also freed, although Tana briefly attacked Quasar for his perceived role in the Charter slaughter before learning the truth via a mind-thrust.

    One or two of the former prisoners engaged Xenith before Tana called an end to hostilities.

    While Tana levitated alongside the Star Masters, Quasar towed the rest of the freed prisoners inside a quantum energy cart.

    Via a mind-thrust against an Axi-Tun agent, Tana learned of the Axi-Tun's guilt and goal of eliminating all other races in the cosmos.

(Cosmic Powers Unlimited#4 - BTS) - The Axi-Tun were expelled from the Charter and charges were pending against their ruler, Lord Votan. The Star Masters were credited as the ones responsible for stopping the Axi-Tun plot of intergalactic genocides and of proving Quasar's innocence.

    So, who or what is Trimeth?

    We don't know which of the three characters seen in the main image is him/her/they/it.

    I would think the central character, with something of an disappointed or ashamed face is Trimeth, but we don't know that for sure.

    We don't even know that any of them is Trimeth, as none are identified, but three organics accompanied Tana Nile to the Hub, there were three of them captured by the Axi-Tun, and one of the people Tana expected to be there was Trimeth, who summoned her to the location where she found this trio...seems pretty likely.

    It is possible that Trimeth was a collective/trio...the "Tri" in the name would fit with that, but there's nothing beyond that to support that possibility.

    And, what are the Mneena?

    It would seem likely that they are a race, although the three beings have somewhat different facial structures and skin colors.

    Or perhaps they are an organization, dedicated to search, rescue, investigation, etc.

    Or...something else...?

   The characters at the front of quantum energy cart COULD be Trimeth and/or the other two members of the Mneena search party.

    Given that there were 28 investigators organized into four search teams and that 24 Recorders and 4 organics can both be evenly divided by 4, I would have expected each of the four teams to consist of 1 organic and 6 Recorders. Having the three organics who were not Tana Nile all be on the same team seems like an odd choice, but I suppose it makes some sense. Given that seven Recorders had been assigned to conduct complete autopsies and another three had been sent to the Life Support Generator, I guess that means that the remaining fourteen Recorders (including 901-E) were either all with Tana Nile or were divided between her and the Mneena search party.

    As for the Mneena search party, I believe that that is just s temporary "team name" that they had been given for that mission. I suspect that "Mneena" is the Rigellian equivalent of Greek letters (like Alpha, Beta, Gamma or Delta) that are sometimes used on Earth as team designations.

    Of the three members of the Mneena search team, only the two rightmost members (i.e., the grey-white one and the red one) seem to appear in Cosmic Powers Unlimited#4, in that one panel of Quasar towing freed prisoners and Recorders in a quantum cart, but the artwork is not great. The leftmost member of the Mneena party, the blue-skinned one who is seen only in profile and seems to have two eyes on the right side of their face, doesn't seem to appear in CPU#4. Instead, the only organic prisoner (aside from Tana Nile) who appears in the detention cell is the pale yellow one who looks somewhat like a tall Moloid.

    Xenith's two references to female opponents seem to actually both involve Tana Nile. On page 18, after Morfex has described how Tana Nile has just hit Quasar with a mental thrust that is causing him torment that few can withstand, Xenith seemingly responds to his words by saying, "She doesn't look so tough."

    Then, on page 19, after Tana Nile says "Enough!" and states that Quasar had nothing to do with the murders on the station, Xenith seemingly responds to that by saying, "Lady, you got a lot of nerve trying to stop me!" Then, in the very next panel, Morfex grabs Xenith's right wrist and says, "The lady's name is Tana Nile, and you don't want to be on her bad side."

    Although Xenith mentioned "these pushovers" when she first punched one of the prisoners, implying that there were at least two people she was planning to fight, she's only shown fighting what appears to be a single foe, the Moloid-type.

    When Quasar was apparently pulling the quantum cart through the maze of the cargo hold aboard the Axi-Tun starship, Morfex was running ahead of him, Xenith was flying beside him and Tana Nile was running alongside the cart. While Tana Nile appeared to be levitating on the following page, she, Xenith, Quasar and Morfex were actually all flying through space after having escaped from the starship. In that image, the other freed prisoners are visible behind them as shadowy figures within a quantum sphere that Quasar is apparently using to transport them back to the Hub.

    This profile was completed 04/28/2024, but its publication was delayed as it was intended for the Appendix 25^th anniversary 's celebratory event.

Note: This pale yellow character being challenged by Xenith is almost certainly the same character in the panel to the lower right...but it may or may be the same character from the two panel in the box to the left. They do share similar facial and hand structure, and the difference in coloring could be chalked up to lighting.      Beyond having pale skin, nostrils without an external nose, eye that are the same solid color as the rest of its skin (and clothing), and having two fingers and a thumb, nothing is known about this being.     Regardless of who it is, Xenith a Strontian, like Gladiator (Kallark), and anyone who can take a punch from her is  a tough customer. Note: If everyone at the Hub (except Quasar) had been killed by the Axi-Tun plague, then it would seem that everyone in the prison was part of Tana Nile's party, so it should be the Mneena search party ( including Trimeth and the Recorders).      The only semi-prominent figure in those rescued by the Star Masters (beyond Tana Nile and the Recorders) was the pale skinned being (or beings) seen encountering Xenith; this being (or these beings) does (or do) not resemble the beings shown in Star Masters#3 as part of the Mneena search party.      There was certainly a different writer and the Star Masters penciler, Scot Eaton, shared penciling work with Dave Hoover in Cosmic Powers Unlimited#4, so it could be artistic license.     Or possibly, one or more of the Mneena search party were metamorphs...or perhaps the Axi-Tun brought some other prisoners with them and stored them at the Hub.    In additional to the pale yellow being, presumably the same as the one from the panel to the left (+/- the one from the panel in the box to the left), we see three Recorders and Tana Nile (plus Quasar, Xenith, and Morphex) in this panel. .
