History: (Star Masters#1)- As part of Lord Votan's plot to exterminate the Charter, Sidereus manipulated an image of Quasar so that it appeared that he confessed to the murder of the crew of the Hub. Sidereus broadcast this image throughout the galaxies, with the intent of turning other races against Earth.

(Star Masters#3)- Sidereus was charged with using the Cauldron of Conversion to exterminate other races by infecting them with a plague. He collected the remaining members of the Korbinite race, and threw them into the Cauldron until the right match had been made. The remaining Korbinites he had cast into space. When the Star Masters boarded their vessel, Throk and Dampyre brought the defeated heroes to Sidereus, who had them cast into the Cauldron to assist in their plan.

(Cosmic Powers Unlimited#4)- However, each of the Star Masters escaped the Cauldron, and led another assault against Sidereus, Aldebron, and the other Axi-Tun of their vessel. The mission compromised, Lord Votan ordered them to purify themselves by self-destructing the ship. They complied, but Aldebron saved herself and Sidereus, planning to one day take the throne from Votan for herself.

Comments: Created by Mark Gruenwald, Scot Eaton and Bob Almond.

The last two pages of Cosmic Powers Unlimited #4 show signs of last-minute tampering. I have a suspicion that Sidereus was not meant to have survived the vessel's destruction.
