Powers/Abilities/Functions: The Hub features rooms which contain Room Regulators which respond to its occupants' mental pictures, creating whatever room is most comfortable to the occupant. The vessel itself is capable of warp travel, and sustaining up to 3 million occupants.
First Appearance: Star Masters#1 (December, 1995)
History: (Star Masters#1)- The Hub arrived in Earth's Solar System as part of the Charter's plan to establish contact with Earth. The Hub was investigated by Quasar, the Protector of the Universe, and he was welcomed aboard. Quasar investigated the Charter's goals, then retired to a room aboard the vessel. The following morning, all of the Charter members aboard had been killed by a plague unleashed by the Axi-Tun, and Quasar was soon framed for the deed. The Cosmic Commandos arrived at the Hub to arrest him, but Quasar fled the scene.
(Star Masters#3)- With his new team of allies the Star Masters, Quasar returned to the Hub where they found a vessel manned by Aldebron and Sidereus, who were using the corpses of the dead Charter members to spread their plague across the galaxy. The Star Masters invaded their ship, but were taken captive. A party of Rigellians who had come to investigate the deaths were also taken captive.
(Cosmic Powers Unlimited#4)- The Axi-Tun vessel departed the Hub with its captives and corpses in tow.
