History:
(Fantastic Four: Life Story#4 (fb)) - While serving in the Korean War, Tony befriended pilot Ben Grimm and together, the two brought candy to and played with the children at a local orphanage in an effort to assure them everything would be okay.

(Fantastic Four: Life Story#1) - Almost a decade later, in 1961, Tony was tending the Runway Bar as Ben Grimm was drinking. When Grimm mentioned he'd lost his job, Tony asked if Grimm had gotten fired but Grimm explained that it was mutual. Grimm then began talking about his fiancee Sally, mentioning that she was the most understanding woman in the world, to which Tony commented that she would have to be. Years later, Grimm was again in the Runway Bar and Tony asked if Grimm had someplace to be. Realizing that Grimm still missed Sally, Tony suggested Grimm say something to Sally but a depressed Grimm felt like he couldn't put Sally through such an ordeal.

(Fantastic Four: Life Story#2) - In 1979, when Sue Storm left Reed Richards, Tony tended the Runway Bar and asked Ben Grimm what was wrong with Reed. Grimm informed Tony that Reed's wife had left him and when he told Reed it was okay to cry, Tony responded by saying "not in my bar." Grimm then asked Tony to pour Reed a Dead Russian, a drink made of Vodka and Aspirin.

(Fantastic Four: Life Story#4) - In 1995, Ben Grimm had a blind date at the Runway Bar, where Tony commented that Ben looked nice. When Ben informed Tony that he had a blind date and the blind Alicia walked into the bar, Tony remarked that Ben wasn't kidding. Alicia joked that she hadn't heard that one before and Ben apologized for Tony, claiming he was a jerk but a friend. When Alicia asked Ben to buy her a drink and nicknamed Ben "Rocky," Tony commented that he liked Alicia and got her a drink on the house.

(Fantastic Four: Life Story#5) - In 2005, Tony was still running the Runway Bar when Ben Grimm and his friends and family showed up. Tony suggested they all drink quickly, as he planned to close the bar permanently at midnight to spend the last few months before Galactus arrived on Earth spending time with his grandchildren.

CLARIFICATIONS:
Earth-21766's Tony
should be distinguished from:

The Runway Bar

The Runway Bar was a bar owned and operated by Ben Grimm's friend from the service, Tony. After Ben Grimm was fired from his job, he tried to drink his problems away in the Bar, from where he was subsequently recruited to pilot the Cassandra 4 rocket by Reed Richards. Following Grimm's transformation into the rock-skinned Thing, Grimm continued visiting the Runway Bar and as the years passed, Grimm became a regular and even brought Reed there in 1979 when his wife Susan left him. In 1995, Grimm met his eventual girlfriend Alicia at the Runway for their first date. Tony eventually closed the Runway Bar in 2005 as Galactus neared the Earth, as he wanted to spend his remaining months with his grandchildren.

It was never shown if Tony reopened the Runway Bar after Galactus was defeated and the Earth, spared.
