(Karnak I#6) - After defeating his former protege Adam Broderick, Karnak returned to the Tower of Wisdom.

(Civil War II: Ulysses I#1-3) - From the Tower of Wisdom, Karnak sensed someone coming towards him; this proved to be the new Inhuman Ulysses Cain. Karnak brought Ulysses to the Tower and introduced him to Lock and Glow, two of the Inhuman adepts. Glow demonstreated how he could control the light generated by the bioluminiscent lichen that grew in the Tower of Wisdom. Karnak showed Ulysses the Room of Perfect Thought, the dining hall and the kitchen run by Tongue. Finally, Karnak showed Ulysses to his cell, which contained a bed, a bucket, water and a very thin window. Karnak began testing Ulysses to see how his power of precognition worked. Ulysses eventually escaped his cell and convinced Lock to let him depart the tower, only to find Karnak outside the front door. Karnak

(IVX I#1) - While Karnak was meditating at the Tower of Wisdom he was interrupted by Marvel Girl, who trapped his mind in a recurring conversation so as to sideline him. Karnak sent Ulysses back into the tower.

(Inhumans Prime I#1) - Karnak brought his brother Triton with him to the Tower of Wisdom.

(Secret Warriors II#5 (fb)) - At the Tower of Wisdom, Karnak turned over his son Leer to Mister Sinister, who wanted to experiment upon him so that he could recreate the Terrigen Mists.

(Secret Warriors II#11) - Mister Sinister took over the Tower of Wisdom and used it for his experiments into Inhuman physiology. When Inferno brought Terrigen Crystals to Mister Sinister, Sinister confined Inferno inside the Tower of Wisdom for his experiments, as he needed someone who had gone through terregenesis. Karnak considered Sinister's actions a betrayal of their agreement and brought his allies the Secret Warriors to confront Sinister. Sinister unleashed an army of altered Inhumans he'd empowered in the Tower of Wisdom and dubbed "the Unhumans" to fend off the Warriors. However, the Secret Warriors were soon aided by a vast number of Inhumans brought to the tower by Magik. The Inhumans and Secret Warriors defeated the Unhumans while Moon Girl destroyed Mister Sinister's attempted Terrigen Mists inside the tower. Karnak liberated Inferno from the tower but Mister Sinister fled the building. To prevent any further use of Mister Sinister's research, Quake destroyed the Tower of Wisdom with a powerful seismic quake.
