History:
(Deadpool IV#32 (fb) - BTS) - At some point, Reginald Harris founded Amalgamated Armaments (it is not clear whether he did this before or after his involvement in the New Mexico project).

(Deadpool IV#32 (fb) - BTS) <Two years before the main story> - Reginald Harris was US government consultant at a project in New Mexico involving alien weapons technology, the details of which he could not share with his wife.

Realizing that it would take the government years to develop anything that could be used on Earth, while in the private sector, without all of the oversight committees, it could be developed much more rapidly,
Harris hired Deadpool to steal an alien weapon. Unbeknownst to Harris, this weapon was on loan from an unidentified extraterrestrial guerilla force to whom the US government had agreed to supply next-generation arms in exchange for unlimited mineral rights.

(Deadpool IV#32 (fb)) - Carrying the weapon in a large bag, Deadpool brought the weapon to Harris' Fairfax, Virginia house, as recorded on Harris' security cameras, and delivered the weapon to Harris, who was surprised and upset that he came there until he saw what Deadpool had brought him.

(Deadpool IV#32 (fb) - BTS) - Reginald told his wife that the New Mexico project had been sabotaged, although he failed to tell her that he was the one who had sabotaged it.

The development of the weapon caused its stock to skyrocket. Harris was sure that the government knew that he had stolen the technology but that they did nothing about it because they wanted the technology developed as quickly as he did.

(Deadpool IV#32 (fb) - BTS) - Amalgamated Armaments was considered a rising star in the realm of military technologies and weapons.

(Deadpool IV#32 (fb) - BTS) - Harris had at least one of Amalgamated Armaments' surveillance satellites outfitted with a survival chamber with enough provisions for three years. They did this because, if the some of the stuff on which they were working were ever used, they would not want to be present on Earth.

(Deadpool IV#32 (fb) - BTS) - When the unidentified extraterrestrial guerilla forces found out the government had lost it, the government identified Harris as the thief.

(Deadpool IV#32 (fb) - BTS) - The aliens hired Macho Gomez to take down Harris.

(Deadpool IV#32 (fb) - BTS) - Using footage of Deadpool coming to his house with a large carrying case from when he delivered the weapon, Harris faked his death by blowing up his home and fleeing to an undisclosed location with his wife and daughter.
Harris and his family were reported dead, while Deadpool was framed for blowing up his home, as reported on the news.

(Deadpool IV#32 - BTS) - As Deadpool -- who had obviously not blown up the house -- questioned what he was supposed to have done, Macho Gomez confronted Deadpool in his Lucky 7 Motel room, telling him he had played him out of a large payday, and that Deadpool owed Macho Gomez all the money he had or he would kill him. Duping and trapping Gomez with an explosion, Deadpool stole Gomez's Machomobile and traveled to Harris' safehouse to learn why he had been framed.
I don't think it was explained how Deadpool knew where to find Harris, but presumably he had placed some sort of tracking device at some point...or something...

(Deadpool IV#32 (fb) - BTS) - Arriving at Harris' safehouse, Deadpool cased the place, appreciating the presence of Harris' bunker and his escape pod.

(Deadpool IV#32 (fb) - BTS) - Macho followed Deadpool to Harris.

(Deadpool IV#32 ) - In their new home, Harris' daughter asked him when they were going home as she missed her room, and Reginald told her he did not know, but that he hoped it would be soon. Reginald's wife then advised they talk about the matter, and he began to explain how and why he had sabotaged the project.

Deadpool interrupted, noting how he had been the one to steal the weapon and noting that he had appreciated that Harris had framed him from the older video.

As Deadpool was preparing to kill Harris for framing him, Harris' daughter rushed up and told Deadpool not to shoot her daddy. Touched, Deadpool began to walk away, telling Harris to continue to "stay dead," but Harris offered to pay Deadpool to kill Macho Gomez, explaining that Macho was the "baddest, most feared operator in the galaxy," and that if Deadpool took him down, no one would ever think about coming after him or his family again.

Macho then revealed his presence and opened fire, and  Deadpool dove to cover Harris and his family, taking numerous bullets in the back, and he accepted Harris' offer, at no further charge.

Deadpool instructed Harris to take his family to the bunker.

(Deadpool IV#32 (fb) - BTS) - Deadpool gave Harris a note, telling him when it looked liked he (Deadpool) was "done for" to initiate the launch of his escape pod but not to get in it, adding "Trust me."

(Deadpool IV#32 - BTS) - After retrieving a bigger gun, Macho attacked anew.

(Deadpool IV#32) - As the fight escalated, Reginald Harris took his wife and daughter with him to initiate the launch of his escape pod.

Reginald explained how and why the pod was programmed to rendezvous with one of Amalgamated Armaments' surveillance satellites.

Reginald and his family hid out in the bunker.

(Deadpool IV#32) - Macho used his gun to blow a hole into and then enter Harris' bunker. Finding the escape pod, Gomez noted it to be pretty clever as he opened its door, after which Deadpool kicked him in and slammed the door. After the escape pod took off, Reginald and his family watched silently as Deadpool ranted about his consistent success before using Macho's gun to blow the pod out of the sky.

(Deadpool IV#32 - BTS) - Deadpool took Macho's vehicle and departed for space.

Comments: Created by Daniel Way and Sheldon Vella.

I did not see Harris' family's relocation site identified, nor has their subsequent fate been revealed. I would think that since Gomez found them and there were massive explosions at their safehouse, Harris would have relocated his family thereafter, but the world may never know...

On that same subject, as far as I could see, it was not explained how Deadpool knew where to find Harris and his safehouse. Perhaps when he dropped the weapon off at Harris' house he bugged something he knew Harris would take with him?

Reginald's wife and daughter did not receive names...why? There were direct interaction and on-panel conversations...but, they are just left as wife and daughter...where is the love?

He has a couple more pictures in the sub-profiles on his daughter and the bunker.

This profile was completed 9/22/2022, but its publication was delayed as it was intended for the Appendix 25th anniversary 's celebratory event.
