History:
(Daredevil I#293 (fb) - BTS) - City commissioner Christine Harris was scheduled to give a speech at the circus during a live performance in New York City.

(Daredevil I#293) - Harris began her speech, not realizing that Tombstone was nearby, disguised as a clown and prepared to kill her with a poison pie. A fight between Daredevil and Punisher interrupted the assassination attempt, and Daredevil saw Tombstone defeated and arrested by Sgt. Fingeroth.

(Daredevil I#294) - Reporter Ben Urich tried interviewing Harris about her recent mishaps, but she wasn't interested in speaking and asked him to leave. Soon, the Hand kidnapped Harris, carrying her off with the intent to murder her. Izanami and Jonin secured her as Daredevil attacked.

(Daredevil I#295) - The Hand savagely battled Daredevil as Ghost Rider burst in to assist him, but they managed to escape with the captive Harris. Harris was strung up next to other Hand captives, including real estate man Derek Tully, deputy mayor Pamela Sennet, and mob boss Jerry "The Whale" Sabini. Harris and the others were strung upside down as Jonin and Izumani of the Hand stated they'd been killing others (as they'd almost killed Harris) to unsettle these, their victims, in a long-term plan to gain control of New York City.

(Daredevil I#296) - The strung-up civilians saw the Chaste (Flame, Spear, Star, Stone) arrive to aid Daredevil against the Hand, and they cut down the captives after defeating the ninjas.
