Powers/Abilities: Toni Harris is a decent student journalist.

History: (Fast Lane insert#1) - Toni Harris and Sam Exmore were assigned to the Daily Bugle's youth insert "On Target," with assistance from Peter Parker. To the annoyance of Bugle publisher J. Jonah Jameson, Harris and Exmore wanted to do an article on actor Zane Whelan for his new movie "Fast Lane," despite the actor's endorsement of marijuana. On their way to the film studio, their van was attacked by the villain Mysterio who had a grudge against Whelan and those who idolized him. Mysterio lifted the van into the air with a supermagnet.

(Fast Lane insert#2) - Peter was able to save Toni and Sam without exposing himself as Spider-Man, and they continued to the studio. The trio watched as Zane filmed a music video for Fast Lane in which he smoked pot, was surrounded by beautiful women, and survived walking off a building (because he was wearing a harness). Toni questioned whether Zane was the risk-taking rebel he had been promoted as. Sam lost faith in Zane after learning it was all a facade and took off, just as Mysterio attacked the studio.

(Fast Lane insert#3) - After Spider-Man beat Mysterio, Toni alerted him to the disappearance of Sam.

(Fast Lane insert#4) - Sam wound up in a hospital after being injured while driving under the influence of pot, and he had a change of heart. Sam and Toni decided to finish their article, but that they would use it to share their own views on marijuana, based on Sam's experiences.
