History: (Europa#1 (fb) - BTS) - Of Algerian descent, Tiger was born and raised in France. For a time he served as a mercenary, picking up the nickname Tiger, a name he stuck with until few knew his true identity. During one mission he was captured by unidentified parties and subjected to an experiment that left him with virtually invulnerable skin, "more durable than elephant hide." For a time after that, he served with S.H.I.E.L.D. (Supreme Headquarters International Espionage Law-enforcement Division).

(Europa#2/2 (fb) - BTS) - Tiger became good friends with fellow agent Geyr Kluge, codenamed Key.

(Europa#1 (fb) - BTS) - Tiger was later assigned to Task Force and EuroMind.

(Europa#0 (fb) - BTS) - Tiger joined Task Force, a special division of the next incarnation of S.H.I.E.L.D. (Strategic Hazard Intervention Espionage Logistics Directorate), super agents assigned to provide security to a European section of the agency called EuroMind, acting in emergencies as a rapid-response unit. EuroMind (and Task Force) were based in a secret location in Spain. They were sometimes assigned to protect EuroMind's scientific research group, EuroLab.

(Europa#0/text (fb) - BTS) - S.H.I.E.L.D. created Task Force, a team of "intervention-ready" combat specialists led by Dragonfly, recruited mostly from Europe's elite special forces. They were loaned to a European section of the agency called EuroMind, assigned to provide security and acting in emergencies as a rapid-response unit. EuroMind (and Task Force) were based in a secret location in Spain. Task Force was sometimes instructed to protect EuroMind's scientific research group, EuroLab.

(Europa#0/2 (fb) - BTS) - While there was respect for each others' abilities, EuroLab's leader Key viewed Task Force as heavy-handed barbarians with no sense of scientific values, while Dragonfly in return resented her unit having to "baby-sit a Boy Scout troop."

(Europa#0/2) - EuroLab were sent to an archeological site in Spain to investigate alleged monster sightings, though team leader Key was less than impressed to learn that Task Force were present to monitor their mission. Via a natural gorge, EuroLab descended into the cavern system below, where they were attacked both by Moloid Subterraneans and by unidentified monsters. Though EuroLab put up a good fight, numbers were against them. Despite this, and Dragonfly's urgings, Key was determined not to call Task Force into the caverns, fearing the archeological damage they might do. Despite Key's preferences, EuroMind's Director Borillon deployed Task Force, who dropped down into the caverns and into the fray.

Task Force ignored the protestations of EuroLab's Danger about their use of lethal force, gunning down the monsters, but Nuage, EuroLab's telepath, shouted to them that the Subterraneans were not hostile, merely frightened and disoriented. Accepting this, and with more monsters than they could handle anyway, Task Force began defending the Subterraneans too, gunning down the monsters attacking them. Reaching out telepathically, Nuage convinced the Subterraneans that the monsters were a common enemy. Despite this, the heroes and Subterraneans risked being overwhelmed as more and more creatures arrived. Detecting thirty more creatures inbound, but also fresh air that hinted at an exit to the surface, they fled to another part of the caverns. The creatures pursued, and Dragonfly ordered Ice Boy to join her in targeting a rock arch they had passed through, though he responded that the arch seemed too solid for gunshots to bring down. Key protested that doing so might destroy the entire cavern they had just left, and shouted that they could use Bengal lights (flares) to buy time. Seeing the creatures already clambering into the new cave, Dragonfly thanked Key for giving her an idea, switched her gun to explosive rounds, and blew up the arch in an impressive pyrotechnic display, much to Key's annoyance.

Afterwards, EuroLab and Task Force discovered inscriptions explaining that the "monsters" were descendants of Inhumans who had been captured by the Spanish Inquisition, and thrown into the gorge to die. A few survived the fall, and, unable to escape the caves, scraped a living, eating whatever they could find. Then the Inquisition dropped another group of "demons" into the precipice; the remains of a crashed Skrull ship and its crew. Eating the dead Skrulls caused a mutagenic change in the remaining Inhumans, driving them insane, and they had degenerated into a colony of predators.

(Europa#1/2 (fb) - BTS) - For several days, Task Force's Argento felt he was suffering from an unidentified malaise, and he asked his employers for a check up. However, routine scans showed nothing, so he soldiered on. Meanwhile, across Europe, there were several reported incidents of individuals undergoing spontaneous mutations, but the mutations always vanished before EuroMind could find them. A report came in of a similar mutation incident taking place in Kuantan, the capital of the Pahang district of peninsular Malaysia; EuroMind tapped into local sources, including radar. A U.F.O. appeared on said radar, just as reports from the market announced the mutate's abrupt disappearance, but vanished near Mount Mulu, Sarawak (a Malaysian state on the island of Borneo). Task Force were swiftly deployed to investigate (see comments).

(Europa#1/2) - On the Malacan peninsula near Mount Mulu, Task Force found plane wreckage with the insignia of French multinational Nadir, Inc. Insisting that "big fish" like that didn't leave traces, Tiger warned Dragonfly that he suspected a trap. She reported their discovery to EuroMind via the radio, then, heeding Tiger's advice, instructed Ice Boy and Blue Condor to patrol the perimeter, warning them that the team was in a "hot zone." Up in a nearby tree, Argent announced he had found a corpse, too normal to be the mutate but wearing a uniform with the Nadir logo. Dragonfly told him to procure a DNA sample anyway, feeling it was too big a coincidence for Nadir to be unconnected to the mutate sighting. Moments later, in the jungle nearby, Ice Boy and Blue Condor were suddenly attacked by a figure in red armor, who declared himself a Lord of War before gunning down Condor. Ice Boy opened fire, and hearing the sounds of battle, the remaining members of Task Force raced to their friends' aid, but the malaise that had been affecting Argento recently suddenly flared up. Crunching up in pain, he dropped his guns as energy began to crackle around his hands and eyes. Unwilling to leave the others in the lurch, he forced himself to catch up as the others reached the battle site to find a trio of armored Asian figures looming over their fallen comrades, with steam still rising from Ice Boy's back and Blue Condor's head where they had been blasted. One of the assailants wryly told his compatriots that it seemed their job wasn't finished yet, and another, a female, cockily replied it should only take them a few seconds. The first speaker, seemingly the commander, opened fire on Tiger, inflicting pain but minimal damage on the indestructible soldier. The armored leader reminded his fellow Lords of War that they were professionals, not "supergaijin," that this was intended to be a hit-and-run mission, and so they should be fast and expeditious, and not play with their foes.

As Task Force's remaining members opened fire, Argento noted the Lords of War had enough artillery to destroy an army. Agreeing, Dragonfly instructed Task Force to open fire with everything they had, and to aim for joints and exposed flesh. Leaping up, she vaulted over the lead Lord of War, her right hand briefly touching his back as she used him to complete her jump. As she landed alongside Tiger and Argento, the latter suggested they deploy an E.M.P. to take out their opponents' armor, but Dragonfly told him it was too risky, as it would also disable their weapons too. Smiling, she pulled out a remote control trigger and noted she had another solution, then pressed her thumb down. An explosion engulfed the Lord of War she had touched, as the bomb she had stuck to his back detonated. However, the smoke cleared to reveal her target unscathed but angry. Now identified by his fellows as Oda, he ordered the other Lords to stop wasting time and switch to "armor B." Shocked at Oda's survival, Dragonfly noted her charge could have taken out a building, and she and Tiger watched as the Lords' armor bulked up, covering them more fully and extruding even more weapon ports.

Then Dragonfly noticed that Argento was crouched, ignoring this new turn of events as energy poured from his hands and eyes. He responded to her cry of concern to confirm he wasn't hurt, but that whatever had been afflicting him recently had now exploded inside him. Just then Tiger leapt forward, telling his distracted teammates to stay behind him as he blocked an energy blast from their temporarily forgotten foes. Oda reminded the other Lords that he wanted the fight ended with the next shot, and Tiger warned his fellows that he didn't think they would survive another blast like the last one. As the Lords flew towards them, Dragonfly told Tiger to keep his composure, adding that they needed to figure out a way to make a run for it. Fighting against the pain inflicting him, Argento found a way to relieve the pressure building up inside him, unleashing it as an energy shield that blocked the Lords and their assault, while simultaneously ripping up the ground between them, opening a portal elsewhere. Slamming into the momentary barrier, the Lords were knocked to the ground, and Tiger seized the opportunity to pick up the now unconscious Argento and grab Dragonfly's arm, urging her to jump into the portal. Dragonfly hesitated, pausing to glance back at their opponents and shouting she thought she had identified something on their armors, but before she could complete her thought, an energy blast ripped through her midriff. Emerging from the other side of the portal a few feet up in the air, Tiger plumetted to the ground, his weight and strong grip on Dragonfly's arm pulling her through after him. The portal closed as soon as they were through. Leaving the unconscious Argento to sleep, Tiger cradled the fatally wounded Dragonfly, telling her to resist and telling her that though they didn't know where they were, they had escaped. Smiling, Dragonfly told Tiger this was good, and promised him the team would be more the Lords' match next time they clashed, more prep....Her voice trailed off as she died in Tiger's arms, and a mournful Tiger promised his "little one" that yes, next time they would.

(Europa#2/2) - Back in EuroMind's Research Center near Spain's Mediterranean coast, Tiger vented his anger by pounding at the base's training equipment. When Key tried to talk to him, Tiger told his friend to save his breath, insisting he was too frustrated to talk. However Key made it clear that though he, too, was saddened by Blue Condor and Dragonfly's deaths, he wasn't there to give condolences, but rather wanted to know what Task Force had found. Continuing to strike at the equipment, Tiger retorted they had found death. And now Ice Boy had disappeared and Argento was being kept under observation. Persisting, Key informed Tiger that while EuroLab had not suffered losses, their superiors had taken the "mutated" investigation off their hands, and asked Tiger to consider what their leaders feared so much that they would block all attempts to look into the case. Taking on what Key had said, Tiger finally outlined the details of what had befallen Task Force, noting the involvement of Nadir, and that he believed Ice Boy had still been alive when he and Argento escaped through the portal. Key noted that Picaro and Deep Sight had been investigating Nadir for a while, but before he could continue with his thoughts, they were interrupted by Borillon calling on Key's comms, ordering them both to his office. There they were informed that S.H.A.P.E.'s executive commission had closed the case. Key responded that this made no sense, but Borillon confirmed that they were supposed to forget about the mystery of the mutates and their lost comrade, adding that it might be different if he was calling the shots instead of S.H.A.P.E. and the United Nations, then added that he was confident his orders were clear enough. Cracking Borillon's desk as his hands clenched angrily, Tiger contemptuously responded that they were. As he and Key exited the room, Key turned to Tiger and reminded him that Tiger had assured him back when they both transferred that EuroMind was going to be a scientific base, not a disguised military center. Tiger retorted that it seemed some things never changed.

Tiger accompanied Key as he met the gathered EuroLab to inform them of Borillon's orders. Like their fellows, they responded with incredulity at the instruction, and Tiger pointed out that it didn't take a genius to figure out Nadir were behind the Lords of War and Ice Boy's abduction. Picaro and Deep Sight suggested they could carry out an unofficial internet investigation of Nadir, but Key replied that he was not planning to sit idly by with Ice Boy held prisoner, and to hell with S.H.A.P.E. Despite knowing they would be acting without official permission, the entire team concurred, unaware their discussion was being observed over hidden cameras. His face hidden in shadows, the observer radioed to EuroMind's base, ordering a hit team hidden within EuroMind's own agents, Blue 1 (Azzurro 1), to proceed. They caught up with EuroLab and Tiger after they entered the base's hanger. As they opened fire, Danger discharged a bright energy blast to provide cover, but a sniper still drew a bead on Tiger. Before he could fire (presumably with something capable of piercing Tiger's hardened hide), Argento smashed into him. Having slain his own would-be assassins, Argento blasted through Blue 1, and just managed to join the others as they made their escape in a stolen jet.

(Europa#3/2 (fb) - BTS) - En route to Western Malaya, EuroLab and the two survivors of Task Force decided to unite as a new team, choosing the name Euroforce. Meanwhile, back at EuroMind, faked video footage was used to frame the group for murdering fellow agents, making them fugitives.

(Europa#3/2) - Aware from their investigations that Nadir had an expensive lab on an isolated private island in Western Malaya, the team snuck in, overpowering and hiding the guards, then split into two teams. While the others, designated Euroforce Red, headed for the lab's main computer to get into the archives, Tiger and Key (Euroforce Blue) set out to find Ice Boy. Unfortunately, the guards were soon discovered and the alert was sounded. Coming under fire, Tiger shielded Key as he breached a security door's control panel, and they fled into the room beyond, where they discovered to their shock and horror Ice Boy, floating within a clear container of greenish fluid, his still-human face barely recognizable atop a monstrously mutated body.

(Europa#4/2) - Key tried to stabilize Ice Boy's condition so he could be released without risking killing him, but A.I.M. security forces breached the doors before he could do so and opened fire. Tiger and Key ducked for cover, and the shots instead shattered the container, freeing that mutated Ice Boy. Having entered an area beyond their meager clearance, the security men paused, unsure what they were facing, and Tiger called to his friend to get to cover. In response one of the A.I.M. agents shot Tiger, but seeing the bullet strike his friend stirred up memories in the mutate's dizzy mind, recalling his past in S.H.I.E.L.D. , the recent death of his teammates, and his own capture. Sensing that his unintentional release meant he only had seconds to live, Ice Boy surrendered to rage and ripped the A.I.M. agents to pieces before collapsing.

Kneeling beside his fallen comrade, Tiger swore to Key that someone would pay for all his friends' deaths. Euroforce fled back to their stolen jet, but as they flew away, a trio of armored figures breached the vehicle. Tiger and the others prepared to fight, but moments later the jet exploded (see comments). Borillon subsequently informed S.H.A.P.E.'s commission that Euroforce had been slain, after which he contacted the team, alive and well and staying in a large villa, informing them that he had provided them with fake identities. Until they could prove their innocence and help him uncover just how deep the corruption in EuroMind went, they had to stay officially dead.

(Avengers World#12 (fb) - BTS) - At some point Eurolab was reinstated, with Key and Tiger both members. It remained affiliated with Euroforce, who apparently assumed a role similar to the one Task Force had held, acting as Eurolab's troubleshooters handling dangerous incidents.

(Avengers World#1 - BTS) - Some time later, Morgan Le Fay took control of a City of the Dead beneath the Italian town Velletri. One of several underground spirit trap constructed in Europe by Yagzan's followers, the Cult of Entropy, back in the 15th and 16th centuries, the City held countless tormented lost souls unable to move on. Either as a deliberate act or a side-effect of seizing control, Morgan's action caused everyone within the city limits of the Italian town Velletri to simultaneously vanish.

(Avengers World#12 (fb)) - Tiger accompanied Key to London looking for Dane Whitman, the Black Knight. He proved tricky to find, but they eventually located him in a nearly empty pub. Key introduced them both to the slightly sozzled American hero, and, after Dane admitted he had been tossed out of most of the other "bars" in London, Key suggested they might make more productive use of his energies. Key then asked Dane if he had heard of Eurolab, and when Dane responded by saying he hadn't heard of it being around for some time, Key assured Dane that it was still active, and that they'd like to make Dane an offer. Dane was initially disinterested, until Key asked him if he had heard of the City of the Dead. Throughout the discussion, Tiger remained quiet, a looming presence behind Key.

(Avengers World#1 - BTS) - With the Black Knight serving as their temporary leader, the new Euroforce - Baby Killer, Sliver, Swordswoman, Tiger and Tumult - were sent to investigate, reaching Velletri four hours after the mass disappearance. They soon found their way to the City and learned of Morgan's plot, but were trapped and unable to communicate their discoveries to the outside world. Eight hours later, S.H.I.E.L.D.'s Maria Hill dispatched a squad of Avengers - Hawkeye, Nightmask, Spider-Woman and Starbrand - to the scene. They also found their way into the City.

(Avengers World#8) - The Avengers ran into Euroforce, and Black Knight introduced his new teammates. While the Knight was talking to them, Tumult told Tiger she thought there was about to be some trouble, and he grunted in affirmation. Moments later, they were attacked by an army of Morgan's monsters. While the teams fought the demons, Morgan used the power of the tormented souls to unleash armies of the dead from all the Cities of the Dead, sending them to assault Europe's capitals.

(Avengers World#10 - BTS) - The Avengers and Euroforce continued to battle the City's monstrous defenders while Morgan's armies rampaged. As they fought, the Avengers and Black Knight relayed the news of Morgan's involvement in events back to Maria Hill and S.H.I.E.L.D.

(Avengers World#12) - Though Tiger and his allies continued to cut a swathe of destruction through the demons, the battle continued with no apparent end as more monsters just kept coming, until Sebastian Druid teleported in, his magic disrupting the creatures. He explained that Morgan was nearly invincible in her current empowered state, but he had figured out a way to beat her; before he could expand on this, he was impaled from behind by a spear wielded by a giant spectral image of Morgan herself. Druid collapsed to the ground, seemingly slain, and Morgan demanded that the other heroes bow to her.

(Avengers World#14) - Ignoring this demand, the two teams continued to battle as the City's monstrous creations again attacked them, until Druid's spirit emerged from his downed body, now able to fully access the City's death magic. He forcibly returned all of Morgan's ghostly armies to the void, painfully depowering her back to normal strength. Druid, Spider-Woman and Black Knight then swiftly and simultaneously struck, finishing her off. Tiger cheered their victory, while the others caught their breath following their close call.

(Captain America: Steve Rogers#18 - BTS) – Euroforce battled Hydra forces next to the Eiffel Tower in Paris. When a woman fell from the Eiffel Tower’s observation deck, Swordswoman swung up on an energy rope and caught her, then deposited her safely back atop the tower. Swordswoman then surprised the woman with a passionate kiss before swinging off again to rejoin the fight. Leading the team, Key shouted to his compatriots to bring the terrorists down, an order Sliver, Tumult, Tiger and Baby Killer were happy to comply with.

(Secret Empire#9 - BTS) – As Earth’s superhumans went to war with Hydra in Washington, D.C. to reclaim the United States, Euroforce (Tiger, Baby Killer and Tumult visible) teleported to join the fight.

Comments: Created by Xavier Marturet and Paco Diaz for Marvel Italia.

It's not overtly stated who attacked the jet after Euroforce fled Malaya. The attackers are drawn wearing armor similar to the known Lords of War, but the man behind them, one of S.H.A.P.E.'s commission, was informed the Lords were unconscious at the time the jet blew up, so it seems the whole attack, not just Euroforce's "demise," was a fake. Euroforce were surprised by the armored trio who breached the jet, clearly thinking they were the Lords, but given the subsequent revelation that Borillon was assisting the team, it seems likely he was behind the "attackers." However, who they were remains unrevealed.
