History:

(Avengers World#12 (fb)) - The woman who would become known as Tumult was born in Spain. One day, she was on the phone with her father, discussing one of their past arguments when someone rang her doorbell. Quickly excusing herself, she hung up and opened the door only to find a package with a mysterious note that read "Show them what you're made of". Inside the box, she discovered a special suit that seemed to react to her touch. Though she wondered why she'd been chosen.

(Avengers World#8 - BTS) - Mastering the suit's vibrational powers, she took the codename Tumult and joined Euroforce, a group of heroes specifically tasked to deal with all kinds of crises across Europe.

(Avengers World#4 - BTS) - Evil sorceress Morgan le Fay had infiltrated the City of the Dead that lay underneath the Italian city of Velletri. The city was among the many European hotspots constructed by the Cult of Entropy to act as a spirit trap, housing lost and tormented souls unable to move to the next realm. Morgana planned to use their power to raise a grand army.

(Avengers World#1 (fb) - BTS) - When the entire population of Velletri had mysteriously disappeared (due to Morgana's machinations) Euroforce was sent there on a fact finding mission.

(Avengers World#12 - BTS) - Learning of Le Fay's involvement, Key and Tiger sought out the help of the Black Knight (Dane Whitman) and his Ebony Sword who had dealt with Le Fay before. The Black Knight accepted their offer and acted as Euroforce's temporary leader.

(Avengers World#1 (fb) - BTS) - Even with the Black Knight leading them, Euroforce was captured and brought to the City of the Dead. After their disappearance, SHIELD dispatched a small team of Avengers to investigate the city as well.

(Avengers World#8) - Trapped in the City of the Dead, Euroforce eventually encountered the Avengers. Swordswoman didn't recognize them at first, causing him to attack Nightmask and Spider-Woman. When things had cleared up and both teams properly introduced themselves, they decided to work together in bringing down Le Fay. However, Morgana had monitored the heroes' doings and immediately sent an army of monstrous beings to attack them. Eager to prove her worth in battle, Tumult leapt forward and ordered the Black Knight to get behind her so she would establish a perimeter. Tumult used her powers to create a shockwave through the ground, but due to the unstable nature of their environment it caused great seismic upheaval and ultimately did more bad than good. With Tumult and the others occupied by her creatures, Le Fay was free to launch an army of the undead from all of the different Cities of the Dead (London, Zagreb, Munich, Berlin, Madrid, Athens, Rome and Paris).

(Avengers World#10 - BTS) - Tumult fought alongside the Avengers when they received a call from S.H.I.E.L.D. director Maria Hill who insisted she hadn't known about Le Fay's involvement.

(Avengers World#12) - While fighting the creatures in the City of the Dead, Tumult rescued her teammate Swordswoman from a horde of attackers by unleashing another shockwave through the ground. Annoyed, Swordswoman called her a buzzkill, while Tumult called her teammate an amateur. Tumult then witnessed the arrival of occult expert and Avengers ally Sebastian Druid. He had come to help the heroes, only to be killed on the spot by Morgan le Fay herself.

(Avengers World#14) - Tumult, Tiger and Sliver attacked the giant Morgan le Fay but were easily cast aside when Sebastian Druid reappeared as a ghost (the deceased spirit of Sebastian Druid didn't have to travel far as they were already in the city of the Dead). Now able to speak the language of the dead too, Druid cast a magic spell that not only closed off all of Le Fay's portals around the world, it also dealt with the sorceress herself. With the threat of Morgana passed, Euroforce and the Avengers each went their own way.

(Captain America: Steve Rogers#18) - Euroforce battled Hydra forces next to the Eiffel Tower in Paris. When a woman fell from the Eiffel Tower's observation deck, Swordswoman swung up on an energy rope and caught her, then deposited her safely back atop the tower. Swordswoman then surprised the woman with a passionate kiss before swinging off again to rejoin the fight. Leading the team, Key shouted to his compatriots to bring the terrorists down, an order Sliver, Tumult, Tiger and Baby Killer were happy to comply with.

(U.S. Avengers#9) - Hydra took over France, maintaining control with the aid of the flying fortress La Deuxiéme Bastille, which hovered over Paris threatening to rain down death. Euroforce members Baby Killer, Swordswoman and Tumult, plus their ally Black Knight, were held hostage in the fortress' brig under power-dampening fields. However, the recently assembled Champions of Europe (Outlaw, Captain Britain, Guillotine, Ares and Peregrine), joined by U.S. Avengers Squirrel Girl and Enigma, attacked in stolen Hydramechs, damaging the fortress' generators, which in turn shut off the power dampeners. Confronted by the freed and angry quartet, the fortress' commander swiftly surrendered. They joined the Champions on the ground as Enigma received word from her girlfriend Toni Ho that anti-Hydra forces in America were also rallying. In response, Enigma informed Toni that she and her fellow heroes were all "coming home."

(Secret Empire#9) - As Earth's superhumans went to war with Hydra in Washington, D.C. to reclaim the United States, Euroforce (Tiger, Baby Killer and Tumult visible) teleported to join the fight.

It's not been unrevealed why Euroforce's membership has radically changed since its creation in Marvel Italia's Europa#0 in 1996. Only Tiger remains as one of its core members. It's most likely they had an ever-changing roster, much like the various Avengers teams. Some of the Euroforce heroes might also have been killed when the Void first returned to Earth in the modern era in the first Sentry limited series. Either way, it's possible Tumult also met and worked with several of Euroforce's older members.

Tumult's discussion with her father on the telephone could mean a variety of things. Perhaps she had chosen to publicly become a superhero like her teammate Sliver, or perhaps she was gay or just had a divorce. Basically we don't know. What we do know is she wasn't too surprised when she received the package containing her costume. Was she in the running for a job as agent of Euroforce? Or did she receive the costume from a family member who had retired the identity? It was interesting that the costume appeared to react to Tumult's touch, hinting at all kinds of bio-tech at work. Still, we can only guess at the possibilities.

It was a shame that the Avengers World story, with such a big set up was rushed off in 3 pages with an easy fix.
