History:

(Spirits of Vengeance#6) - Miranda, Wolf, Eli and Kody took care of Clara after her breakdown. She freaked out again when the vision about all their deaths returned.

(Spirits of Vengeance#7) - Miranda and the others were still with Clara when Blaze returned to the carnival. Clara suddenly told them that their enemies had arrived. Blaze told Kody and Wolf to bring Miranda, Clara and Eli to safety while he and Ghost Rider took care of their enemies Steel Vengeance, Steel Wind and Styge's demons.

(Spirits of Vengeance#9) - Miranda learned from Clara that her son was still outside and needed help. She panicked and Blaze and Ghost Rider went outside to search for Timmy and bring him back to Miranda.

Steel Wind returned with Styge's demons to start a second strike against the Quentin Carnival. Kody surprised Clara and Miranda when he didn't join the fight like all the other men.

(Spirits of Vengeance#10) - Miranda was glad when Blaze returned with her son, but they didn't stay together for long when one of Styge's demons abducted him right in front of her. Miranda ran to Blaze for help and he promised her to find him again. She soon found Timmy's jacket, but Timmy was gone. Loosing her son triggered Miranda's psychic powers. She lashed out violently and defeated single-handedly all opposition.

(Ghost Rider III#39) - After the fight against Steel Wind and Styge's demons Blaze took Kody, Ghost Rider (Dan Ketch), Kody, Clara, Wolf and Miranda Woods to Greenwich Village in a truck. They stayed at Dan's apartment while Blaze tried to figure out Eli's last note for him.

(Spirits of Vengeance#12) - Wolf stole an army truck to bring Miranda, Clara, Kody and Eli's corpse away from the carnival site, which had been under control of the US Army. After Kody knocked out the soldiers Miranda used her powers to erase their memories of this event.

The next morning Kody and the others joined Ghost Rider, Blaze and Quinn, Eli's son, at the funeral for Eli.

(Spirits of Vengeance#15) - Kody asked Wolf, Miranda and Clara to come outside when Ghost Rider and Seer returned with Blaze, who had been injured. Miranda waited while Quinn helped Blaze. When Vengeance attacked the shack he tossed Wolf on to Miranda. Miranda was present when Blaze, with new cybernetic implants, defeated Vengeance.

(Ghost Rider III#43) - Miranda joined Ghost Rider, Blaze, Seer and the other carnies when they went to Cypress Hills Cemetery where they met Vengeance and Caretaker. When Caretaker overpowered Vengeance and Ghost Rider Seer told the others to stay out. Blaze followed Caretaker while Miranda and the carnies went with Seer.

(Spirits of Vengeance#16) - Miranda stayed with the other carnies and Seer at the Blood's Nightclub while Ghost Rider, Vengeance and Blaze fought Zarathos, Lilith and the Lilin. When Mrs. Ketch was brought to the Nightclub Miranda and Clara took care of her.

(Spirits of Vengeance#21) - Miranda hung around with Blaze's children while he decided to go after Kody to help him against his people.

(Spirits of Vengeance#22) - Miranda got drunk and unleashed her psychic powers because she was angry because Timmy was still missing. Blaze calmed her down and then went looking for her son.

Miranda cried when Blaze finally returned Timmy to her.

(Spirits of Vengeance#23) - Kody, Wolf, Miranda, Timmy, Clara and Blaze visited Roxanne's grave. They had decided to put the Quentin Carnival back together.

(Blaze#1) - Miranda watched Blaze leave the big top after his performance to help someone outside against Ice Box Bob.

Comments: Created by Howard Mackie, Adam Kubert & Bill Reinhold.

Miranda's husband worked at the Quentin Carnival as well, but he was never identified. He seemed to have died off panel during the assault by Styge's demons, Steel Wind and Steel Vengeance in Spirits of Vengeance#7-9.

After Spirit of Vengeance Miranda appeared in one more panel (in Blaze#1) and then was gone from the Quentin Carnival presumably starting a new and less dangerous life. Surprisingly she wasn't even used in Blaze: Legacy of Blood though at first I thought she was there, but then it turned out to be Seer, a character that looked far too similar IMHO. Maybe this was the reason why Miranda wasn't used much after Seer joined the Ghost Rider cast. BTW she is not a mutant because her powers are mystic in nature. It's magic, baby!

Miranda had her first big scene in Spirits of Vengeance#10 and then was pretty much forgotten. After Siege of Darkness was over she was suddenly remembered again and was given back her son one issue before Spirits of Vengeance was cancelled.
