- BTS) – Marcus Wellington was a industrialist specializing in computers, and revolutionized computer operating
systems before diversifying into munitions manufacturing. This eventually made Wellington the world's third richest man.
Wellington married an unidentified woman and they had a daughter, Melodi. When Melodi was around 12 years old, his wife died under unrevealed circumstances.
He took on "Howard" (secretly Tony
Stark) as his assistant and bodyguard and developed his own armor and a megavirus that he intended to
secretly infect and destroy the entire world's computer networks. In the
ensuing panic, he would step in with the "antidote," and the world would all
use his operating system allowing him to massively profit.
Marcus Amalgamated destroyed the environment, and his
daughter became a spy for several green world organizations to oppose
him. While digging through Marcus' files, she discovered the virus and
took a copy of it and the antidote and fled.
(Iron Man 2020 #1) – Melodi fled to her boyfriend, Braun Sehler, convincing him to take her on a flight. However, Braun was secretly a member of the Irkutsk Liberation Front, and he used this as an opportunity to kidnap and ransom her for one-third Wellington's net worth.
Marcus then approached his rival Arno Stark to enlist him in his Iron Man identity to rescue his daughter. What Marcus actually wanted was for Arno to fail, with his daughter dying in the process. This goal was intended to discredit Arno and Stark Industries and to allow Marcus to continue his virus plan.
Arno instead successfully rescued Melodi and brought her to Marcus Amalgamated. Presuming Arno now knew the truth about the virus, Marcus activated the building's defense system and had his men shoot Stark's plane out of the sky. After Stark and Melodi managed to escaped, Marcus donned his prototype armor.
The armored Stark and Wellington fought with
Marcus knocking down Stark. When Marcus turned to kill his daughter, she was
saved by Stark, who ripped off Wellington's suit's arm. Marcus grabbed Stark and
tried to crush his suit, but unbeknownst to Marcus, Stark introduced
the virus into Marcus's suit. Before proceeding with his efforts to kill Stark, Marcus observed Melodi
fleeing on a hoverbike and attempted to pursue her. However, the virus
then began tampering with his suit's systems, and it disabled the suits
transponder. Wellington's building's security systems now saw Marcus as a
threat and fired on him, apparently killing him.

Marcus Wellington's name is thought by Andro Stark as
"Wellington Marcus" and just before his death he calls out this name,
but Andro's computer, as well as Caesar of the Irkutsk Liberation Front
later refers to him as Marcus Wellington, and an employee calls him
"Mr. Wellington". The OHotMU:AU's profile on Earth-8410 refer to him as
Wellington Marcus, the 2009 HC continues this in the text but the
character photos refer to him as Marcus Wellington. Wellington is more
traditionally a surname, so I'm assuming this was the intended surname
for this character
Marcus Wellington's height is approximated from a comparison to Arno Stark.

Melodi fled to her boyfriend, Braun Sehler, convincing him to take her on a flight. However, Braun was secretly a member of the Irkutsk Liberation Front, and he used this as an opportunity to kidnap and ransom her for one-third Wellington's net worth.
She was rescued by Iron Man, who subsequently saved her from Marcus' efforts to kill her (for knowing his secrets).
After the death of her father, she became the controlling partner of Marcus Amalgamated. She discussed payment to Arno and had him invite her to dinner.

Liberation Front were a group of terrorists under the guise of a
liberation group. Their leader, Braun Sehler started to date
Melodi "Micky" MacLain but then kidnapped and took her to a deserted island,
where they ransomed her for one-third Wellington's net worth.

was sent to rescue her, and all the members were killed

Liberation Front
Keeping his alliances and agendas secret, he started to date Melodi
"Micky" MacLain and while out flying their ship was shot out of the
sky. The rest of the group arrived and kidnapped the pair and
ransomed her for one-third Wellington's net worth. Braun pretended to
escape and killed one of his own men, Micky revealed the existence of
the virus, and Braun revealed he was the leader.
He tried to kill Micky
but she was saved by Iron Man and Braun was killed by Micky
