(Squadron Supreme I#1) - As Arcanna magically opened the door to their home, Katrina and the rest of the family greeted her, with Katrina clinging to Phil's leg at the door.

After greeting her family, Arcanna had Drusilla Drusilla take Katrina and Andrew to the playroom, and Philip advised the kids that their mother and he wanted to talk about grown-up stuff. As the Arcanna and Philip embraced, one of the kids (presumably Drusilla) shouted that Katy wanted a cookie.

(Squadron Supreme I#5 (fb) - BTS) - As the Squadron became busy with their Utopia program, intended to solve America's woes within a year, Arcanna was only able to see her family less than once a week.

(Squadron Supreme I#5 (fb) - BTS) - As part of a plan to use the Squadron's families to force the heroes to surrender, Ape X sent Lamprey to upstate New Troy to abduct Phil and the children (see comments).

Katrina and the rest of her family were imprisoned in a fenced in area with barbed wire at the top inside the Institute's base alongside the rest of the Squadron's family members -- Power Princess' husband, Howard Shelton; Whizzer's wife, Madeline, and daughter, Tina; and Blue Eagle's mother, Adrienne Dore -- and the previously captured Golden Archer.

(Squadron Supreme I#5 - BTS) - With Doctor Decibel having forced the Golden Archer to tell them how to operate the Squadron's Behavior Modification device (B-mod; with which the Squadron had been re-programming/rehabilitating criminals), the Institute captured Tom Thumb, took over the Squadron's base and then lured the rest of the Squadron back to their base.

(Squadron Supreme I#5) - When the Squadron attacked the Institute members, the criminals showed the Squadron members footage of their hostages, forcing the heroes to surrender and then submit to the B-mod.

(Squadron Supreme I#5 - BTS) - However, unbeknownst to the Institute members, Tom Thumb had programmed the B-mods to recognize the Squadron members' brain patterns and reject any alterations to them (see comments).

As a result, the Squadron were unaffected; although they had not known they would be immune, the Squadron members had the sense to play along and feign alliance with the Institute so they would be brought to the hostages.

(Squadron Supreme I#5) - The Institute brought the seemingly B-mod manipulated Squadron members back to the Institute's base.

Drusilla watched silently as Arcanna and the rest of the Squadron then swiftly defeated the Institute members and freed their hostages. Arcanna rushed in and embraced her family.

(Squadron Supreme I#6 (fb) - BTS) <A week before the main story> - Arcanna and her family moved their home into Squadron City in the Great America Desert.

After her father instructed the kids to hold tight, like mommy had taught them, the family held hands, with Katrina holding Drusilla and Andrew's hands, and Arcanna mystically flew them into the city, explaining how they could see it as soon as they penetrated its illusory hemisphere.

After they landed, Katrina announced that she wanted to fly some more, but Arcanna told her "not now" and instructed her to go watch her brother, who was chasing their cat, Crowley.

(Squadron Supreme I#6) - Shortly thereafter, Drusilla and Katrina found a water hose and began playing with it. As Drusilla sprayed the smiling Katrina, Arcanna shouted to Drusilla, asking what she was doing.

(Squadron Supreme I#7 - BTS) - Katrina and her siblings, as well as Tina Stewart, presumably had a babysitter or were otherwise occupied (perhaps already in bed) when Arcanna and Philip had Stan and Maddy Stewart over to their home.

(Squadron Supreme I#9) - In the park by the tennis courts in Squadron City's Richmond Field, Shape acted as a trampoline for Drusilla, Katrina and Andrew, as well as Maddy Stewart. Hugging Shape, Katrina told "Mr. Shape" that she loved him, and he told Katrina that he loved her, too.

As the kids were stressing out Mrs. Brennan's nurse, Phil suggested Arcanna get Andrew and he would handle the girls.

After Phil had settled down the girls, Katy stood behind Drusilla as she asked when mommy was having the new baby, and he told her it would be soon.

(Squadron Supreme I#12) - As Katrina watched through a window with her siblings and Shape in Squadron City's Hospital Complex, Philip announced the birth of their son, Benjamin Thomas Jones.

(Squadron Supreme: Death of a Universe) - In their home in Squadron City, as Shape acted as a sliding board, Katrina urged her brother to let her have a turn, but Shape assured her that he would give her all the slides she wanted.

Katrina and Andrew continued to play with the malleable Shape, and Katrina wrapped her arms around his belly and told him, "Gotchoo, Mr. Shape! You can't shake me off!"

(Squadron Supreme: Death of a Universe - BTS) - Arcanna soon after adopted the identity of newer recruit Moonglow to participate in a space mission in which the infant Benjamin saved their universe, mystically trading destinies with the invading N^th Man (Thomas Lightner), which led to his tracing Lightner's path in reverse and departing their universe.

(Quasar I#13 - BTS / Squadron Supreme: New World Order - BTS) - As the Squadron flew their spaceship back to Earth, Master Menace exiled the Squadron to Earth-616; because of a crisis elsewhere in the Omniverse, Lightner blocked their initial attempts to return for their own safety.

(Squadron Supreme: New World Order (fb) - BTS) - Katrina and her family relocated to their magically camouflaged house in Pommerschen (see comments).

(Squadron Supreme: New World Order) - Arcanna returned to her family in their mystically-shielded Pommerschen home, thankful that the wards she had placed had held true against the passage of time.

As the door opened, Katrina excitedly screamed, "Mommy!" and ran up her hugged her. She then listened silently as Arcanna explained Benjamin's fate.

Further discussions were interrupted by Mysterium (the newest alias for Thomas Lightner), who informed Arcanna of how the nature of magic had changed on her world during her absence, and that it was not safe for her to use her powers until she had been re-aclimated.

(Squadron Supreme: New World Order (fb) - BTS) - Arcanna remained with her family for an extended period of time as she reacquainted herself with the alterations in her world's magic, allowing the Squadron to deal with the New World Order.

In case it's not clear, Earth-712 (aka "Earth-S") is a world where the Squadron Supreme is the major heroic power, and most of the members are based to some degree of DC comics heroes, notably the Justice League of America. I believe Arcanna corresponds to Zatanna.

In Squadron Supreme: Death of a Universe, Philip Jones wonders what the newly-born Benjamin's magical aptitude would be, as it seemed to vary in each of their children. Both at the time and to date, however, only Drusilla and, of course, Benjamin, have demonstrated any paranormal abilities. Katrina and Andrew likely have some abilities, but they are as yet unrevealed.

The second oldest of Arcanna and Phil's children, Katrina looked to be perhaps 3-5 years old in Squadron Supreme I#1 (although the kids changed in age/appearance throughout the series despite the steady and continuity conscious team). That series was supposed to take place over an entire Marvel Time year, so she was likely 4-6 years old by the end of the series. Despite the time between publications, Death of a Universe only took place a week or so after the end of the Squadron Supreme series. However, New World Order was published in 1998, 12 years real time after the series, or nine years real time after Death of a Universe, which would likely amount to 2 years Marvel Time, making her perhaps 6-8 at that time...and then 24 years real time have passed since New World Order as of 2022, so that is perhaps 5-6 years Marvel Time, meaning she would be like 11-14 years old as of 2022 real-time..

Back to Pommerschen!:

When Arcanna/Moonglow returned to Earth-712 after an extended absence, she visited her family who had since relocated to their mystically camouflaged home in Pommerschen, which appeared to be the same place as they lived before.
I would guess that when the Squadron failed to return, especially with the whole New World Order pushing Earth-712 into a more hostile environment, Arcanna’s husband, Phil, relocated their family back to their house in the woods.
In Squadron Supreme I#6, I had always ASSumed that Arcanna had magically relocated their Pommerschen home to Squadron City, but when Arcanna and the Squadron were banished from their reality by Master Menace, she and her family had still been living in their home in Squadron City. Arcanna would not have had a chance to relocate their home back to Pommerschen.
So, perhaps they had a new home in Squadron City (the exterior of the Pommerschen was never shown, so there is no comparison), but she maintained their Pommerschen home and its wards as a back-up.
Or, perhaps she had set up a failsafe so that if Squadron City were no longer safe, their home would be magically transported back to Pommerschen with its camouflage/wards in place. I realize that moving a house isn't as simple as moving the above-ground portion but...you know...magic...

I'm not sure how Lamprey found Arcanna's family if their home was mystically hidden...maybe he waited until they went into town for something.

Mark Gruenwald's Squadron Supreme maxi-series and Death of a Universe remain amongst the best storylines in my 44+ (as of 2022) years of comic reading and my nearly 40,000 comics.
I would love to see the likes of Kurt Busiek, Mark Waid, Peter David, Fabian Nicieza, Saladin Ahmed, or another continuity respectful writer deal with the eventual arrival of Benjamin Jones at Project: PEGASUS and then perhaps have an Arcanna-focused Squadron storyline with each of the kids having some abilities and being involved...and we could get some back-story on Arcanna, which would be sweet.
