History:

(Marvel Mangaverse: New Dawn (fb) - BTS) - Namor was born a mutant hybrid, the child of the Atlantean Princess Fen and Leonard McKenzie, a human male.

(Marvel Mangaverse: New Dawn (fb) - BTS) - During a global conflict, Namor fought alongside Captain America and the Human Torch (presumably Jim Hammond).

(Marvel Mangaverse: New Dawn - BTS) - At an unrevealed moment in time Namor ascended the throne and became ruler of Atlantis.

(Marvel Mangaverse: Eternity Twilight (fb) ) - Namor was working together with Hydra and Baron Strucker when they had managed to trick Doctor Bruce Banner into building what he believed to be an energy well. In reality, it was a conduit to bring the Elder Gods back to Earth, a fact Namor was unaware of as well.

(Marvel Mangaverse: New Dawn (fb) ) - Due to improper construction, the energy well built by Banner backfired, resulting in a worldwide electro-magnetic pulse that caused every energy system to shut down for 24 hours. During what became known as "the Great Blackout", Namor attempted an invasion of the surface world. Namor's forces began melting the polar ice caps to flood the Earth, using a giant machine powered by Hydra's energy well (see comments). In the end, Namor was stopped by Iron Man (Tony Stark) but not before he beheaded the hero (Tony Stark was revealed to have survived the battle in New Mangaverse: The Rings of Fate#1, now living as a severed head on a robot body).

(Marvel Mangaverse: New Dawn - BTS) - Every now and then Namor would receive visits from Hydra's Baron Strucker bringing him a special medicine fabricated by Hydra to relieve the prince's chronic pains (see comments).

(Marvel Mangaverse: New Dawn) - Three years after "the Great Blackout" Namor, while in his hidden palace along the coast of New York received another visit from Strucker. The Baron had not just come to give Namor his special medicine but had learned that Toni Stark, sister to Tony, had found and persuaded Dr. Bruce Banner to build a new energy well. Realizing Hydra now had a second chance to acquire it. He hoped to once again gain Namor's help in their planned attack on Stark Island. Once Strucker had administered the medicine and Namor's agony had become manageable, he listened to Strucker's plan, full of fabrications about the actual Iron Man still being alive and that the hero was rebuilding the well to attack Atlantis. Enraged that Stark had broken their treaty, Namor swore to have his revenge and conquer all of Earth. Strucker was pleased by Namor's blind fury, feeling he could use it to take control of the well on Stark Island. That very night Strucker and Namor set out with the combined forces of Atlantis and Hydra to attack Stark Island.

(Marvel Mangaverse: Eternity Twilight) - Spearheading the assault on Stark Island, Namor rode in a special flying vehicle beside Attuma and Strucker. Assuring Namor they would reign victorious Namor asked Strucker to negotiate for peace after they'd destroyed the energy well. Just when they were caught off guard by the swarming of millions of flying ants, courtesy of Antman who had joined Stark's defense against the Atlanteans. His attack was followed by the arrival of the mutant superhero team the X-Men who fought their way through the Atlantean forces. Enraged by their attacks Namor joined to battle, leaving Strucker alone with Attuma. Having had enough of his charade against the Atlanteans, Strucker used a laser shot from his mechanical eye to kill Attuma. While Strucker, who'd gained entrance to the energy well, summoned his master, the elder god Dormammu, Namor fought the X-Men. The mutants seemingly lacked the brute force to counter Namor's attack until they received help from the Fantastic Four. Jonatha Storm bombarded Namor with an intense burst of fire, draining the Atlantean hybrid's strength, after which the Thing sent him flying into the air. Defeated, Namor wasn't heard from again.

(Marvel Mangaverse#4 - BTS) - During an assembly of the United Nations President Rogers took a moment to discuss the recent troubles at the hand of Hydra and the Atlanteans, showing photos of Strucker and Namor.

Comments: Created by Ben Dunn.

Just how Hydra's ice melting machine wasn't affected by the 24 hour electronics blackout following the EMP is never addressed. The cause of Namor's chronic pain remains unrevealed as well.

Namor's palace contained wall drawings of the Atlantean history. They showed how Princess Fen met Captain Leonard McKenzie, as well as Namor fighting alongside Captain America and the Human Torch. The Mangaverse's timeline differs greatly from Earth-616's, so it's pure speculation to state they banded together as the Invaders during Word War II.

Due to the Asian specific nature of the Mangaverse reality, it goes without saying that while characters might look similar to their 616 counterparts, they most likely will have distinctly different names, codenames or powers. Therefore we will only list the names when they have been used in the comics.

CLARIFICATIONS:
Namor has some connections to

Lorenzo

Lorenzo was Namor's butler and the caretaker of his hidden palace along the coast of New York. He considered himself but a lowly servant.

--Marvel Mangaverse: New Dawn

Attuma

Attuma was Namor's righthand-man and general of his Atlantean army. He was present during the assault on Stark Island, riding in a special flying vehicle besides Namor and Hydra's Baron Strucker. They were caught off guard by the swarming of millions of flying ants, courtesy of Antman who had joined Stark's defense against the Atlanteans. His attack was followed by the arrival of the mutant superhero team the X-Men who fought their way through the Atlantean forces. Enraged by their attacks Namor joined the battle, leaving Strucker alone with Attuma. Having had enough of his charade against the Atlanteans, Strucker used a laser shot from his mechanical eye to kill Attuma.

Princess Fen & Captain Leonard McKenzie

One day Princess Fen of Atlantis met human Captain Leonard McKenzie and quickly fell in love. Fen gave birth to Namor.

Comments: Unlike Earth-616's reality, Fen also gave birth to Namora.

--Marvel Mangaverse: New Dawn - BTS

Human Torch

During a war Namor and Captain America fought alongside the Human Torch.

Comments: Although unconfirmed it's likely this was Jim Hammond. It's well possible that Namor, Captain America and the Human Torch called themselves the Invaders, fighting in World War II but the Mangaverse's timeline is very different to that of Earth-616 so this is simply speculation.
