Hub can reach places she has never been to before, even planes in midair, simply by willing herself to go there through unknown ways. She instinctually prevents herself and others from materializing inside solid objects. Hub is unable to teleport herself onto fast moving objects and can't breach certain (electromagnetic) energy fields. For a brief period, her powers were supercharged after exposure to Terrigen crystals, though she had great difficulty controlling them (see comments).

History:

(Excalibur III#1 (fb)) - The female teleporter Hub was one of the many millions of mutants residing on Genosha, the African island nation that had become a haven for her kind. Hub was living on the island with her dog.

(Excalibur III#1 (fb) / New X-Men I#115 - BTS) - Hub was on Genosha when Cassandra Nova used Sentinels to attack the island, slaughtering millions of Genoshan citizens.

(Excalibur III#3 (fb) - BTS) - Hub survived the onslaught and remained on Genosha, joining up with the strongman Purge and telepath Hack as members of a gang led by the mysterious Chimère.

(Excalibur III#2 - BTS) - Following Chimère's orders Hub infiltrated Unus' gang, also present on Genosha.

(Excalibur III#2) - Hub, Shocker, Toad and Toad-In-Waiting were present in their headquarters when their fellow gang members returned. Only Unus was missing after he'd been swallowed up by Freakshow during an altercation with Charles Xavier and his allies. Toad and Toad-In-Waiting were convinced Unus would survive this ordeal though Hub wondered if they should take him back as their leader. Some time later, after Unus proved indigestible and was vomited out by Freakshow, Unus forced his followers to attack him so he could prove he was still worthy of being their leader. Hub didn't get involved, but hid herself claiming she was totally bored by it all. At that moment, the telepathic Hack arrived looking for help. Afraid the boy would blow her cover, she asked him to leave. Hack, however had sensed the imminent arrival of an Omega Sentinel (Karima Shapandar, trapped in a stasis pod and a prisoner of the Magistrates along with the telekinetic Shola Inkosi).

(Excalibur III#3) - Hub teleported them to Chimère's base, hoping to get advice from their enigmatic leader. With Chimère unavailable, Hack and Hub got Purge to help out. Hub teleported them to the cargo hold of the plane (see comments) where they checked out the two stasis pods. When it became clear they couldn't teleport out with Shola's pod, they decided to take over the plane instead. When they discovered there were Magistrates on board, they took a moment to consider their options. Before they could get reinforcements, the trio was discovered by the Magistrate striketeam who attacked. Hub was shot within seconds and while Purge lunged at the soldiers, Hack tried to make his way to the cockpit. Purge held his own against the Magistrates who nevertheless managed to void the cargo hold, dropping both the pods and Hub over Genosha. Hub saved Hack after he convinced the pilots to crash the plane into Hammer Bay's giant Magneto monument. However, the Magistrates were so furious about losing their precious cargo, they mounted a full scale attack on the island to get the pods back.

(Excalibur III#4) - While Hub and Purge fought the Magistrates they were joined by Unus and his gang who believed the battalion of Magistrates attacking Genosha were trying to regain control of the island. During the fight Hub used her teleportation abilities to steal the jetpack off a Magistrate, causing him to fall to the ground. Before Hub could continue, Hack appeared before her to announce their leader Chimère had ordered them to retreat and stick to her plan. After Xavier and his allies successfully defeated the Magistrates, Hub quickly returned to Unus' gang. Once Xavier had taken the soldiers prisoner Unus took Hub and his other troops to confront Charles in his beachside headquarters. Unus demanded that the professor handed his prisoners over to him, claiming there was no law on the island. Xavier, flanked by Magneto, Callisto, Karima and his young allies, told off Unus and made him turn away.

(Excalibur III#6) - On a reconnaissance run, Hub checked on the Xavier compound where Charles, Magneto and his allies had been captured by the looter Stripmine and his Asgardian trolls. She was keeping an eye on the young Freakshow who was hunted by two of the trolls when they suddenly noticed her as well. Afraid to get caught Hub quickly teleported herself back to Chimère's base. Hub explained what had transpired feeling she only narrowly escaped the trolls, but Hack had telepathically monitored the situation and learned that the trolls had been ordered not to hurt her because they believed she belonged to Unus' gang (who had partnered with Stripmine to get rid of Xavier). Hub felt they should help free them, but Hack and Purge agreed they should obey Chimère's orders and not get involved.

(Excalibur III#8) - Eager to start rebuilding Genosha, Xavier realized he needed the help of Unus and his gang. Early one morning, he had Shola fly up to their Sentinel statue headquarters to rouse Unus, Hub and the others. They watched as Xavier's forces started to clear out the ruined buildings to make room for new houses and farmland. Xavier officially asked Unus and his followers to join them, but they laughed in his face. When Xavier left, they agreed to wait around for Charles to do all the work before they took it all away from him.

(Excalibur III#9) - While Magneto was off taking care of his daughter the Scarlet With he asked Karima Shapandar the Omega Sentinel to go and find Xavier. To retrieve Xavier much faster she decided to go and ask Hub for help. Karima appeared before Unus and Hub, who refused and teleported away. Thinking she had eluded Karima by teleporting back to Chimère's base to see Purge and Hack, she was surprised to find the Omega Sentinel had locked on to Hub's bio-signature and simply sent an interactive hologram to Hub's location, startling all three young mutants. Karima once again asked Hub to retrieve Xavier and Callisto for her, otherwise she would follow her all day. Afraid Karima would learn of her involvement with Chimère she complied. Hub teleported a group of children Xavier and Callisto had found trapped in a train wagon back to Xavier's base. But as Callisto wondered if Dark Beast had already returned with the supplies he and the group of Magistrates should get, the furry blue mutant arrived, seemingly beat up he claimed all of the Magistrates had been killed after which he fell unconscious. Unbeknownst to Hub and the others, Earth-295's Sugar Man had taken up residence beneath Genosha.

(Excalibur III#10) - To help Dark Beast, Callisto ordered Hub to jaunt to Xavier's house to get his medikit and Magneto's help. Hub, however, was unable to get inside the house because it was shielded by a magnetic field. Noticing someone tried to penetrate his field Magneto came outside to ask what the girl wanted. Magneto gave Hub the medikit but expected she did him a favor: retrieve Xavier. Hub complied.

(Excalibur III#11) - Hub was present on Genosha when Broadband picked up scraps of encrypted transmissions emanating from the nation of Zanzibar. He displayed the footage to his allies Callisto, Karima and Shola Inkosi who recognized the people involved: Viper was fighting Husk and the local hero Askari. It was decided that Callisto, Karima and Shola would travel to Zanzibar and stop Viper. Shola noted they would need transport after which Hub agreed to join them as well.

(Excalibur III#12) - Hub, Shola, Karima and Callisto arrived on the top of a building in Zanzibar and immediately noticed a Weaponeers aircraft. The Weaponeers raided the building, having picked up the mutant signatures of the Genoshans. Seeing nothing but a family having dinner the Weaponeers were about to kill them, forcing the Genoshans to act. During the fight, Karima immediately ordered Hub to teleport the family to safety, when Hub returned her friends had already defeated the Weaponeers. The group then decided to set out and find Askari, Angel and Husk. Hub and the others arrived just in time to see Viper fighting Askari after which Viper was whisked away by the X-Man Archangel. Callisto quickly boarded one of the Weaponeers' aircrafts to follow and help Angel. Wanting to help, Shola asked Hub to teleport him aboard Callisto's aircraft but she refused as it would be unable for her to get a transit lock on the craft. Hub and Shola then joined Askari while Karima freed Husk, who'd been trapped by Viper. Moments later Karima noticed the Weaponeers' command vessel and ordered Shola to take it down. While the vessel plummeted to the ground Shola chose to leave the group and join Angel and Callisto. With only Hub, Karima, Askari and Husk left Hub opted to quickly return to Genosha. Askari, however, wasn't about to leave his people and decided they had to reach General Umabaja, vice president and leader of the armed forces for a counter attack. Thus the group decided to return to Askari's home. But when the group arrived at the Zanzibar palace they saw Askari's daughter Taniqa had been taken hostage by Scimitar, a mercenary hired by the Weaponeers.

(Excalibur III#13 - BTS) - Hub was not seen during the fight that followed, possibly teleporting herself back to Genosha. The heroes eventually managed to defeat Scimitar and the Weaponeers freeing Zanzibar in the process.

(House of M I#8 - BTS) - Hub was one of the many millions of homo superior who lost their powers when a reality altering spell cast by the Scarlet Witch reduced the number of gene active mutants to a mere 300 worldwide.

(New Avengers I#17 - BTS) - Hub's mutant energies joined with those of the other depowered mutants, creating the Collective, a massive force presence that ended up killing, among others, most of the members of the Canadian superhero team Alpha Flight.

(New Avengers I#18 - BTS) - S.H.I.E.L.D. analyzed the Collective's multiple energy signatures and managed to identify Hub's, along with 50+ other victims of M-Day.

(Son of M#5) - Thoroughly depressed about losing their powers, Hub and the other members of Charles Xavier's Genoshan inner circle were approached by Quicksilver and his daughter Luna Maximoff. Recognizing the speedster as the son of Magneto, they eagerly listened to his promise of returning their mutant abilities through inhaling the mists of the Terrigen crystals he stole from the Inhumans. Hub watched as Wicked and Freakshow regained their powers after taking a whiff of the Terrigen vapors. Convinced, she also took a breath and regained her powers. Moments later, Magneto arrived with an injured Callisto, whose mutations had gotten out of control after Quicksilver had exposed her to the Terrigen process. Father and son fought for a while until Luna broke up the battle and Magneto left. Hub decided to get Callisto to the nearest hospital.

(Son of M#5 (fb) - BTS) - The newly re-empowered Hub took Callisto to a Manhattan hospital, but her powers were so unreliable it took her a full day to get back, almost drowning by accident on the way. When news of weirdly re-empowered mutants reached O*N*E Director Lazer, he sent out a strike force to Genosha to investigate the matter just as the Inhuman royal family arrived on Earth to reclaim their stolen property.

(Son of M#5) - The Inhumans eventually learned their crystals were on Genosha, instantly travelling there courtesy of Lockjaw. They briefly fought Hub and the others who didn't want to give up their source of power. The conflict was interrupted by Lazer and his forces. They took out Quicksilver with a tranq-dart.

(Son of M#6) - Lazer took control of the situation, offering Wicked and the other Terrigen afflicted ex-mutants medical aid. Now clearly suffering from unwanted side effects, Hub, Purge, Freakshow and the others agreed to get help. They boarded a O*N*E helicopter and left for parts unknown.

There's a bit of an inconsistency about Hub's ability to teleport to moving objects. She apparently had no trouble getting on board the Magistrates' plane in midair over Genosha, but couldn't get a lock on the Weaponeers craft Viper had commandeered.

Allegedly, the effects of Terrigenesis were only temporary. Hub presumably returned to her depowered state soon afterwards.
