History:
(Deadpool IV#35 (fb) - BTS) - Obb was in love with Orksa, the sister of his friend, Funtzel, for as far back as he can remember.

(Deadpool IV#33 (fb) - BTS) - Obb was affiliated with Funtzel Intergalactic when they employed Macho Gomez as their...go-to enforcer...or something...

(Deadpool IV#33 (fb) - BTS) - Kak, commander of the remaining Ongulian fleet,  attempted to hire Macho Gomez, via Funtzel Intergalactic, to destroy Id, but was turned down.

(Deadpool IV#33 (fb) - BTS) - Terra-Co hired Funtzel Intergalactic Towing & Recovery to recover their stolen drill.

(Deadpool IV#33) - After Deadpool, having slain Macho Gomez, flew Macho's ship into space and ran out of fuel, a distress signal was sent and received by Obb, who arrived seconds later. Assuming Macho to be stuck, he hooked up his towing device (tractor beam?) and brought the ship back to Funtzel Intergalactic.

(Deadpool IV#33) - Upon arrival, Obb told Funtzel that Macho had run out of fuel again, and Funtzel wondered if Macho was wasted. After Obb responded, "Dunno, probably..." Deadpool interjected, revealing he had wasted Macho (see comments). Obb was dumbstruck after Macho's widow, Orksa, attacked Deadpool and Deadpool convinced her to marry him instead, leading Funtzel to reluctantly welcome Deadpool to the business as his new step-brother.

(Deadpool IV#33 (fb) - BTS) - Obb learned Terra-Co's drill was on planet U-235, so named for being composed of large amounts of Uranium-235.

(Deadpool IV#33) - Obb informed Funtzel he had obtained a location on Terra-Co's drill, and that he was ready to take off right away as he he gotten the anti-gravity units all packed. Deadpool insisted he wanted to go, and Funtzel agreed, despite Obb's objections that Deadpool didn't know the first thing about the business. Funtzel instructed Deadpool to keep a low profile as people took repossessions personally.

(Deadpool IV#33 - BTS) - Deadpool accompanied Obb to U-235, where they were discovered and assaulted by the Exto Clan. Based on Obb and Funtzel's reactions, Deadpool apparently practiced minimal stealth and instigated a direct confrontation with the Exto Clan.

(Deadpool IV#33) - As they hid out behind a rocky prominence, Deadpool chided Obb to keep his head down, as if it was Obb who did not understand what "low profile" meant. Obb explained to Deadpool they were facing the Exto Clan, the toughest mercenaries in the galaxy, which Deadpool considered a bonus. Obb further explained that he thought the Exto Clan had been hired to protect the mine from black marketers. Excited by learning the massive drill was what they had come after, Deadpool instructed Obb to flee from an Exto Clan tank that was assaulting them, leading Obb to commandeer the drill, from which Deadpool drove off the mercenaries.

Delivering the drill to Funtzel, Obb requested a meeting with Funtzel, both appalled with Deadpool's approach to the problem and Orksa's love for Deadpool.

Funtzel worried that Deadpool might put them out of business, if he didn't get them killed first; but he was unsure of what to do, as Deadpool was family. Obb pointed out, "So was Macho. Until he died...know what I'm saying?" Funtzel worried that he'd be making Orksa a widow twice in the same month, but Obb insisted that he'd be doing Orksa a favor, as she could do so much better than Deadpool and all the other losers she ended up marrying. As Obb continued, noting how Orksa was unique, funny, beautiful, and kind...and that she deserved to be with someone who knew that, Funtzel realized that Obb really loved Orksa. Obb offered to make a few calls, to solve both their problems.

(Deadpool IV#33) - Obb accepted Kak's previous offer, hoping that Deadpool would be killed in the process of trying to destroy the immensely powerful Id.

(Deadpool IV#33) - As Deadpool and Orksa began a romantic night involving a kiddie pool full of iced Jell-O (or something like that), Obb interrupted, telling Deadpool there was someone there to see him about a mercenary job. As Deadpool left Orksa for the meeting, Obb wondered if Deadpool was going to change from the women's bikini two piece he was wearing.

(Deadpool IV#33 - BTS) - Deadpool put on his gloves, belt (and weaponized pouches), thigh bands (and weaponized pouches), and boots.

(Deadpool IV#33) - After Kak explained to Deadpool the threat of their target, Id, Obb told Deadpool that he and Funtzel thought this was way too dangerous, if not impossible. Funtzel clarified that if Deadpool took the job, he took it on alone. Obb stood behind Deadpool smiling as Deadpool nontheless accepted Kak's proposal.

Deadpool IV#34 (fb) - BTS) - The night before Deadpool headed off to kill Id, and potentially his death,  Deadpool and Orksa celebrated; ultimately Deadpool was trapped underneath a passed out and drooling Orksa.

(Deadpool IV#34 - BTS) - Funtzel summoned Obb and his tow ship to lift Orksa off Deadpool.

(Deadpool IV#34) - Obb used his tow ship to pulled Orska away.

(Deadpool IV#34 - BTS) - As part of his plan to destroy Id and spare other victims, Deadpool called Orksa and asked her to steal Obb's tow truck and meet him after he would destroy the planet and escape in a mini-rocket.

(Deadpool IV#34) - Orksa sought out Obb, who -- after she told him she had not heard from Deadpool -- warned her that Deadpool might die in the dangerous mission, and that if Deadpool didn't come back, he would always be there for her. Orksa hugged Obb (much to his pleasure), telling him he was very sweet, as she stole his keys.

(Deadpool IV#35) - Obb met with Funtzel, telling him that Orksa hadn't heard from Deadpool, and that she had stolen his keys. Funtzel hypothesized that Deadpool might actually succeed in destroying Id, which would make Deadpool a hero, which would be worth a lot of money to the business; he continued that if Deadpool got himself killed, they would be no worse off than before, but if he succeeded, they'd be a lot better off. Most concerned about Orksa, Obb decided to try to make sure Deadpool perished, but told Funtzel he was going to help Deadpool. Realizing Orksa knew where Deadpool was, he asked to borrow Funtzel's ship, which he used to track his own ship.

Obb confronted Deadpool on the planet U-235, summing up Deadpool's plans to escape in the small Ongulian rocket as he goaded Id into destroying and consuming the uninhabited planet (with Deadpool having driven away the Exto Clan and miners), after which Deadpool would detonate the Ongulian weapon, which would have drilled into the planet's core and been inhaled by Id. Deadpool questioned why Obb was there, and Obb responded by pulling his ray gun and aiming it at Deadpool's face. The much more experienced Deadpool swiftly disarmed him before Obb had even realized what had happened. Deadpool instructed Obb to take his ship and get out of there before Id attacked, but Obb broke down, crying and revealing that he was in love. Deadpool initially misunderstood, thinking that Obb loved him, but Obb clarified that he meant Orksa. Deadpool gave Obb leave to go be with Orksa, but Obb reminded him that she and Deadpool were married, after which the Ongulian drill caused the portion of the planet they were standing on to separate from the portion on which Funtzel's ship rested. Knowing the Ongulian rocket wasn't big enough for both of them, Obb told Deadpool to leave him behind, as he would rather be dead than alive and alone.

(Deadpool IV#35 (fb)) - Taking pity on Obb, Deadpool limited the space they'd take up in the rocket by cutting off both of his legs and his right arm with his sword; but Obb had to cut off Deadpool's left arm.

(Deadpool IV#35 - BTS) - Obb and the dismembered Deadpool escaped U-235 in the rocket, which Orksa then snared with the Obb's ship's tractor beam.

(Deadpool IV#35) -After they arrived back at Funtzel's base, Orksa opened the rocket's hatch and was startled when Deadpool's bleeding, limbless body fell out of the rocket. As Obb emerged, she asked him what he had done to her husband. He admitted to cutting off one of Deadpool's arms, but only because Deadpool had asked him to. After he explained the circumstances of their escape, Orksa angrily asked Obb what he was doing there in the first place. Funtzel tried to calm Orksa, but she then revealed the source of her anguish...that Obb might have been killed. She tearfully embraced Obb.

(Deadpool IV#35 - BTS) - As Deadpool painfully regrew his limbs over the next few days, Orksa and Obb kissed, at least.

(Deadpool IV#35) - A recovered Deadpool told Orksa and Obb they should be together. Orksa excitedly outburst, "REALLY?!!" before realizing she should be more discreet and act at least a little sad. Deadpool asked her how they would get space-divorced, and she told him Obb would have to kill him. Deadpool responded that Obb had kinda already done that, and Orksa explained the next step was for her to kiss Obb. When Deadpool waited expectantly, Obb admitted they'd kinda already done that, too.
Deadpool then stole Funtzel's coolest car-ship and left...

(Guardians Team-Up#10 (fb)  - BTS) - Deadpool sent an anonymous message or otherwise got word to Macho Gomez about a job to loot the "future Earth" technology of Cable's secret underground weapons cache in Colorado. At the same time, Deadpool put out a message on the "interstellar merc wires" for anyone who had a beef with Macho to come to that weapons cache to throw him a "hurt party."
    Obb received this message.

Realizing it was Deadpool putting out this message and considering even Cable's 39th century technology to be primitive compared to the interstellar tech to which he had access, Macho decided to join, intending to get rid of the other mercenaries to eliminate competition.

    Macho traveled to Cable's base.

(Guardians Team-Up#10 (fb)  - BTS) - Frustrated with Orksa repeatedly telling him that he was not the man that Macho Gomez was, Obb decided to take Deadpool up on his offer and travel to Cable's base so he could smack Macho around a little to "get the heat back in the sheets."

(Guardians Team-Up#10 (fb)  - BTS) - Macho captured Obb.

(Guardians Team-Up#10) - After Rocket and Deadpool met up at Cable's, Macho contacted them via a large viewscreen, noting that "space bats" (Drakillars) had hatched from his Machomobile and were now hungry. Macho instructed them to rescue him or he would feed Obb to his muco-sheath armor. As Obb was explaining his motivations, the view screen was blasted Beekos the Keeper, who felt he had been summoned there to be eliminated (as competition) by the Drakillars.

(Guardians Team-Up#10 - BTS) - Rocket commented that he was NOT sad that he didn't hear the rest of what of Obb's explanation about wanting to get more loving with Orksa.

(Guardians Team-Up#10) - Now wearing Drakillar-hide armor, Macho ambushed and punched down Deadpool and Rocket. Deadpool was smashed through a wall and landed near the bound Obb, who noted how glad he was to see him. Dazed, Deadpool recognized the room as where Cable had kept his bodyslide technology, and he thanked Obb for "reminding" him of this. Obb was confused by Deadpool's statement, as well as Deadpool's subsequent "bodyslide" dance.

(Guardians Team-Up#10 (fb) - BTS) - Deadpool freed Obb, who helped hold up the injured Deadpool as they returned to confront Macho.

(Guardians Team-Up#10) - Using Cable's bodyslide/teleporter technology, Deadpool teleported Rocket, himself, and Obb to safety; as he did so, Deadpool used the technology on Macho but set it to the incorrect number of biomasses.

(Guardians Team-Up#10 - BTS) - The bodyslide technology apparently exploded Macho.

(Guardians Team-Up#10) - Obb and Deadpool materialized outside Cable's base next to Rocket just before Cable confronted them over destroying his weapons cache.

Rocket offered Obb a ride home, and Obb accepted.

Obb's race is not identified, and as far as I know, he's the only being of his type we've seen thus far. He's presumably either part of an unidentified race or a mutated variant of some other race.
