EXTO CLAN

Membership: No members were identified

Purpose: The Exto Clan is a group of interstellar mercenaries. They were multi-racial, though there were a few types seem in multiples.
on U-235, they were employed to protect Mondo's Intergalactic Mining Company's uranium mines

Aliases: Nones

Affiliations: Mondo's Intergalactic Mining Company

Enemies: Deadpool (Jack, aka Wade Wilson), Funtzel Intergalactic Towing & Recovery, Id the Selfish Moon

Base of Operations: Mobile throughout unidentified region of an unidentified galaxy;
    formerly planet U-235

First Appearance: Deadpool IV#33 (April, 2011)

Abilities: At least according to Obb, the Exto Clan were the "toughest in the galaxy." They were armed with laser rifles, crossbow-like weapons, and tanks, at least.exto_clan-deadpool-achilt&splitface

Several extraterrestial races could be identified visually, though none of these were identified by individual or race name. Among these were: red horned-type; hammerhead-type; green cyclopean-type; and the pink curled head projection-type

No others are seen clearly, though two others are visible in the main image, one with a seam down the middle of the face, and perhaps a face ending in paired maxillary pointed structures (upper teeth)? - far left; and another that looks kind of like it could be an A-Chiltarian. The latter two have a zoomed-in image to the right.
    Maybe, maybe not...

History:
(Deadpool IV#33 (fb) - BTS) - Mondo's Intergalactic Mining Company set up mines on U-235. They hired the Exto Clan mercenaries to protect the mines from black marketeers. The miners apparently stole a powerful drill from Terra-Co.

(Deadpool IV#33 (fb) - BTS) - Terra-Co hired Funtzel Intergalactic Towing & Recovery to recover their stolen drill.

(Deadpool IV#33 (fb) - BTS) - Funtzel's employee Obb learned the drill was on planet U-235

(Deadpool IV#33) - Deadpool -- who had joined Funtzel Intergalactic -- accompanied Obb to U-235, where they were assaulted by the Exto Clan.

Locating the drill, Deadpool and Obb evaded fire from a tank directed by the red horned guy and at least one hammerhead guy. They entered the and tunneled up in front of the green cyclopean guy and pink curled head projection guy; Deadpool shot the pink guy in the head, apparently killing him, and, as the green guy fled, Deadpool told him to tell everyone about him.

(Deadpool IV#33 (fb) - BTS) - Deadpool either drove off the Exto Clan or sufficiently cowed them that they were willing to let him reclaim the drill or, at least, unable to stop him from repossessing it.

(Deadpool IV#34) - As part of his plan to destroy Id the Selfish Moon, Deadpool returned to U-235, landing in the ship he had claimed from the Ongulians. With Id approaching orbit, Deadpool told the Exto Clan they had 10 minutes to get the miners and themselves off the planet.

(Deadpool IV#34 - BTS / Deadpool IV#35 (fb) - BTS) - After/as the Exto Clan and miners departed, Deadpool unloaded the Ongulian drill/nuclear bomb and their rocket on U-235's surface, while he arranged for Orksa (Deadpool's alien lover, Funtzel's brother, and Obb's would-be-lover) to bring Obb's tow vehicle to pick him up.

(Deadpool IV#35) - Obb followed Orksa to U-235, intending to kill Deadpool so Orksa would love him. Deadpool told Obb he could have Orksa. The Ongulian weapon drilled into U-235, causing the piece of ground Deadpool and Obb were standing on to break away...bringing with them the Ongulian rocket but separating them from Obb's ship.

(Deadpool IV#35 (fb)) - To fit into the rocket with Obb, Deadpool chopped off both his legs and one of his arms, then had Obb chop off the remaining one. They escaped as planned.

(Deadpool IV#35) - Believing he was getting Deadpool at the same time, Id destroyed U-235, then inhaled its space dust, as well as the bomb, which Deadpool remotely detonated, destroying Id.

CLARIFICATIONS:
The Exto Clan has no known connections to:

red horned type extraterrestrial

red skin; horn-like superior appendages extending from top of skull and projecting to the rear; long, pointed ears; solid orange-yellow eyes; and a roughly rectangular glowing yellow spot recessed somewhat relative to their "faceplate."

one of these appeared to be a co-clan leader, along with the hammerhead-type (it is possible that pairs of beings of these two races worked together regularly, and it was not the same being seen in both appearances). This "supervisor" stood beside the tank that blasted in Deadpool and Obb's vicinity; he and/or his co-leader ordered another pair of agents to confirm that the targets had been defeated...which was not confirmed. Ultimately they apparently allowed or were at least unable to stop Deadpool and Obb from repossessing the drill.
When Deadpool warned the Exto Clan and the miners to get off the planet before it was consumed by Id, these two leader-types (or another pair) were seen again by the tank weapon. They apparently accepted Deadpool's warning and led the rest of the Clan and the miners to flee U-235.

The image below also clearly shows the face of one of these aliens at the time of Deadpool's warning to evacuate U-235. The angle of the face, as well as the expression on the face, is significantly different. I THINK it's the same guy, but, again, maybe not...

Assuming its the same guy, I'd think he was the actual leader of the Clan, as there was one of him and two of the hammerhead-types seen. But maybe not...

hammerhead-type extraterrestrial
(the two on either side of the image)

orange skin (with light blue stripe running over top of heat and extending further in inferior direction than eyestalks); light blue eyes (with a small pupil, but no visible sclera) extending laterally from skull via prominent eyestalks giving them somewhat of a hammerhead appearance; 4 arms (and perhaps only 3 fingers +/- a thumb per hand); somewhat of a projectile mouth/snout.

They apparently accepted Deadpool's warning and led the rest of the Clan and the miners to flee U-235.

green cyclopean type extraterrestrial

green skin, with an elongated head tapering towards a point on top, a single cyclopean eye (with green iris), and no visible nose or ears.

One of these guys (along with the pink, curled head projection-type guy) was sent by the two leader types (red horned guy and hammerhead-type) by the tank to confirm Deadpool had been killed by the tank's fire. They were surprised to not find a body, and even more surprised when Deadpool surfaced in front of them with the drill. When Deadpool introduced himself, the green guy said, "Who?"...and Deadpool shot the top of the pink guy's head off, killing him; as the green guy fled, Deadpool told him, "The guy you're gonna tell everyone about."

pink, curled head projection-type extraterrestrial

pink skin; head possesses bilateral projections that extend widely to the sides and end in tiny curls; recessed eyes appeared to have a light central "pupil" surrounded by a darker "iris" or sclera (it may be that their eyes are generally shadowed, but that the inside of the eyes glow); diamond-like prominence on forehead; the bottom of an apparent nose and the rest of the lower face is either covered by a black membrane or perhaps cloth. They may have only three fingers +/- an opposable thumb, it's not clear.
