History:  (War of Kings#3 (fb) - BTS) - Following the death of Salac Tuur, a new Smasher was selected from a group of eager candidates with a recommendation from Gladiator.

(War of Kings#3) - Smasher, Electron, and Plutonia joined Gladiator outside former Shi'ar Empress Lilandra's cell aboard the Shi'ar Warbird "Spirit of the Aerie". Informing Gladiator that the ship's refueling was nearly completed, Smasher expressed his appreciation over being accepted as the new Smasher to an irritatedGladiator.
When the Warbird was boarded by the Starjammers and the Guardians of the Galaxy in an attempt to free Lilandra, Smasher and his fellow Guardsmen moved into action. Trying to access hyper-strength through his Exospecs, Smasher flew directly into Drax's fist, and in a dazed, was severly beated. Recovering, Smasher led a crew of Shi'ar soldiers to rearrest Lilandra, repeating their orders from Emperor Vulcan to capture and kill their enemies. Instead, Smasher's head was blown off by Gladiator, who, in defiance of the Imperial Guard's objectives, shifted his loyalties to Lilandra.

As with his short-lived predecessor Salac Tuur, the full extent of Smasher's powers and abilities are unrevealed. Unlike the first and second Smashers, this Smasher's real name is unrevealed. But as a nod to Vril Rokk and his namesakes, how about Dox Krinn?

By the way... Abnett and Lanning must really have it in for Smasher, huh. Wonder what horrible way they'll find to do in the next one.
