sharr-capn-surf-punchedHistory:

(All-New Marvel Now! Point One#1/2) - During the Centennial Festival of Lights on the planet Nautikos, as the visitors observed the Cosmic Rays, Cap'n Sharr cried out, "Listen up all ya top-siders! There's a price to see the show on Cap'n Sharr's docks. An' this's where ya pay up, sandhuggers! Give us yer pearls, yer gold, yer beads an' baubles! Or give us yer heads!"

Having shed his silvery skin for the festival, Norrin Radd, alongside his companion, Dawn Greenwood, confronted Sharr, offering him one chance to leave these people be. Sharr was amused by the "bald-pated mouth-breather," telling him that he must have traveled far in some "fancy wee ship," and that if he could afford that, he could afford to empty out his pockets.

Replying that his pockets were lined with silver, Norrin reclaimed his silver skin, and the Silver Surfer punched out Cap'n Sharr.

Recognizing the Surfer as Galactus' herald, Cap'n Sharr's men fired on him futilely, although ricochets threatened Dawn and some otter-like spectators, until the Surfer's board flew over and protected her.

The Surfer took out the rest of Cap'n Sharr's gang, although a stray shot wounded one of the cosmic rays. After healing the injured ray, the Surfer departed with Dawn.

Comments: Created by Dan Slott and Michael Allred.

I could not figure out an animal adjective for sharks. My niece Savanna Drake, who is a marine biology student at Auburn, suggested the names Elasmobranch or Chondricthyian, with the latter being a larger category of cartilaginous fish (that also includes the holocephali (chimeras or ghost sharks), while the former is a sub-category that includes only modern sharks (division Selachii) and batomorphs (which also includes rays, skates and sawfish).
If we're considering modern sharks only, Savannah confirmed that Selachii is as specific as we can get, and she suggested "You could probably manipulate it since canine/feline/bovine are modified versions of family names such as felinidae, bovidae, etc."

I may have made up the adjective "Selachian," but I like it! You made it up, but you weren't the first. There are shark-like aliens called Selachians in Doctor Who's expanded media - Loki
