Powers/Abilities: Due to the alien DNA merged into his genes, Doctor Doomsday's skin is superhumanly durable, at least sufficient shrug off energy blasts from superhuman opponents, and his body is covered in sharp, bony protrusions capable of rending flesh. The alien DNA also grants Doctor Doomsday the ability to reincarnate, if killed, returning to life immune to whatever killed him.

    He also possesses superhuman strength sufficient to fight the superhumanly strong Ferro Man in hand-to-hand combat.

    Doctor Doomsday wears a suit of bio-armor equipped with various offensive weapons such as energy-projecting gauntlets.

    As the ruler of Latkovia, Doctor Doomsday has access to Latkovia's weapons including surface-to-air missiles.

    When last seen, Doctor Doomsday possessed the stolen powers over death normally possessed by the Silver Racer.

History:
(Marvel Versus DC I#3) - When the Spectre and Living Tribunal sought to save both of their universes by combining them into one, Doctor Doomsday was one of the many heroes and villains that emerged from the amalgamated universe of Reality-9602, complete with his own varied and lengthy history.

(Spider-Boy (Amalgam) I#1 (fb) - BTS) - Victor Von Doom was a founding member of Project Cadmus and eventually became their chief scientist.

(Challengers of the Fantastic I#1 (fb) - BTS) - Victor aided "Prof" Richards in creating experimental radiation shielding to protect astronauts from cosmic radiation.

(Challengers of the Fantastic I#1 (fb)) - When "Prof" Richards, "Ace" Storm, "Red" Storm and Sen. "Rocky" Grimm went on a secret space flight to test cosmic radiation shielding, an excited Richards reported back to Victor Von Doom that their mission was success. Richards soon expressed wishes that Victor had accompanied them into space but Victor joked that he didn't want to risk anything happening to his good looks, reminding Richards that someone had to stay behind to monitor the secret mission. Grimm expressed wishes that he'd stayed behind instead and when he noted that the mission would only be a secret until they landed, at which point they would electronically plastered across the globe via the Heroes television show, Von Doom thought to himself how Richards would get all of the glory for the spacecraft shielding despite Victor having helped create it. Feigning assistance, Victor then claimed that he couldn't wait to see the foursome "plastered across the globe" as he turned a knob in the control room, causing the craft's auto-gyros to malfunction. Completely unaware of Victor's role in the malfunction, Richards tried to report back but found the radio silent, assuming they'd lost contact with Victor as their re-entry systems went dead, and the craft soon crash-landed with the foursome surviving to dub themselves the Challengers of the Fantastic.

(Spider-Boy (Amalgam) I#1 (fb)) - Following a presentation from General "Thunderbolt" Ross regarding intern Peter Parker's radical idea of creating a clone with the ability to manipulate gravity, Victor Von Doom was convinced to greenlight the project.

(Amalgam trading card#85: Dr. Doomsday (fb) - BTS) - Von Doom became obsessed with unlocking the secrets of the alien destroyer Doomsday.

(Amalgam trading card#54: A Monster is Born (fb) - BTS / Amalgam trading card#85: Dr. Doomsday (fb) - BTS) - During an examination of Doomsday, Victor Von Doom was hit in the face when a bone fragment from the creature exploded.

(Amalgam trading card#54: A Monster is Born) - The alien DNA from Doomsday's bone fragment began swiftly replicating within Doom, transforming the handsome Victor Von Doom into a scarred, grotesque form.

(X-Patrol I#1 (fb) - BTS) - The alien DNA fully combined with Victor Von Doom's genes, further transforming him into the most highly evolved being in existence, Doctor Doomsday.

(Spider-Boy (Amalgam) I#1 (fb) - BTS) - Victor went mad after becoming Doctor Doomsday.

(Amalgam trading card#54: A Monster is Born - BTS) - His face now permanently resembled the rocky skinned Doomsday, the mad Doctor Doomsday took up the alien destroyer's mission and sought to conquer the world.

(Amalgam Canvas chase card#4: Dr. Doomsday (fb) - BTS) - When the evil Thanoseid acquired the five Infinity Links and created the time-stopping Infinity Loop that threatened to destroy the entire universe within one hour, he promised infinite power to Doctor Doomsday and numerous other villains in exchange for stopping Earth's heroes from interfering with his destructive plans.

(Amalgam Canvas chase card#4: Dr. Doomsday) - As the Infinity Loop vortex grew larger and time ticked towards universal destruction, Doctor Doomsday led the other assembled supervillains against Earth's heroes.

(X-Patrol I#1 (fb) - BTS) - Earning the reputation of being a monster that seemingly could not be killed, Doctor Doomsday became the ruler of the island-nation of Latkovia and once fought the Judgment League Avengers to a standstill. Some time later, Doctor Doomsday began researching two different universes that seemed to house beings resembling fragments of Earth-9602 heroes and the discovery prompted him to start work on a device to bridge dimensions and other realities, years later drawing the attention of Earth-96431's Niles Cable, who had traveled to the past of Earth-9602 in an effort to prevent his own future from coming to pass. 

(X-Patrol I#1) - After forming the X-Patrol group of mutant heroes, Niles Cable took the newly-minted team to the air on their first mission, which he revealed would be against Doctor Doomsday. Dial H.U.S.K. and Beastling questioned whether Cable was serious and Cable confirmed that he was as they entered the airspace of Doctor Doomsday's island-nation of Latveria. As soon as X-Patrol crossed the border into Latveria, their X-Jet was shot down by missiles and Ferro Man crashed through the roof of Doctor Doomsday's castle, immediately getting into a fistfight with the dictator. During the fight, Doctor Doomsday proclaimed Ferro Man to be a dead man that would receive the honor of being killed by him and asked if perhaps Ferro Man was one of Erik Magnus' creations. Ferro Man answered that he was no robot but rather, a mutant man, but Doctor Doomsday announced that it made no difference, as Ferro Man was doomed from the start of his mission there. The rest of X-Patrol entered the castle moments later and Shatterstarfire blasted Doctor Doomsday aside to rescue Ferro Man. Doctor Doomsday retaliated by firing an energy blast of his own from his gauntlet, narrowly missing Shatterstarfire as Elasti-Girl suggested X-Patrol focus their attention on Doctor Doomsday. Dial H.U.S.K. followed up by using her dial to transform into Polaris and using her new magnetic abilities to pull Doctor Doomsday's machinery down onto the despot. Doctor Doomsday insisted that he could not be killed since his transformation via alien DNA but Dial H.U.S.K. assured Doctor Doomsday that her intent was not to kill him but rather, cage him.

    As Dial H.U.S.K. battled Doctor Doomsday, Niles Cable hacked into Doctor Doomsday's computers and learned of Doctor Doomsday's attempts to create a device to bridge realities into two different universes. Assuming Doctor Doomsday was planning to amass an army of beings that resembled fragments of Earth-9602 heroes, Cable opted to destroy Doctor Doomsday's work. Doctor Doomsday soon escaped the metallic prison Dial H.U.S.K. had built around him and he gloated that his superior strength, power and intellect made him destined to rule the world. He then savagely hit Niles Cable in the back, announcing that no one would walk away from the battle, only to witness Elasti-Girl grow to giant size within his computers, completely destroying his years of work. X-Patrol came to the aid of the severely injured Niles Cable and Doctor Doomsday continued battling them until X-Patrol began to retreat to get Cable medical attention. Fleeing the scene, Shatterstarfire blasted Doctor Doomsday and X-Patrol escaped Latveria using one of Doctor Doomsday's ships, leaving Doomsday himself to vow that they would meet again, at which point he would prove his superiority.

(DC/Marvel: All Access#4) - Following a battle between Earth-616's Doctor Strange and Earth-9602's Doctor Strangefate, Earth-9602 (Doctor Doomsday included) was entirely recreated inside a mystic item within Doctor Strange's Sanctum Sanctorum.

(Challengers of the Fantastic I#1) - After the cosmic robot Galactiac arrived in New York City and began setting up machines to miniaturize it, Doctor Doomsday watched from across town and listened as reports came in about the Challengers of the Fantastic battling the robot. Feeling as if "Prof" Richards had robbed him of his rightful glory too often, Doctor Doomsday began plotting a revenge scheme to get back at Richards. A short time later, Doctor Doomsday monitored the New Asgodian Silver Racer falling to Earth and he took advantage of the situation, sneaking up on the Silver Racer to use a device to steal the Silver Racer's power. Boarding the Silver Racer's skies, Doctor Doomsday then flew off into the skies, gloating that the Challengers of the Fantastic's borrowed time had run out now that Doctor Doomsday possessed the touch of death.

(Challengers of the Fantastic I#2) - The Challengers of the Fantastic's "Ace" Storm battled the Silver Racer-empowered Doctor Doomsday alone.

    To clarify, Amalgam Comics didn't really exist beyond those seen in the few DC/Marvel crossovers. The titles you don't recognize are amalgams of similar Marvel & DC comics. --Snood

    In case it's not obvious, Doctor Doomsday is an amalgamation of Marvel's Doctor Doom (Victor Von Doom) and DC's Doomsday.

    The letters page of Assassins I#1 mentions an upcoming storyline called "The Age of Doomsday" though no details are given as to what it was since the letters page was made to resemble one in the fictional Amalgam universe. Based solely on the name, it sounds the never-published storyline might have involved Doctor Doomsday.

    Doctor Doomsday's island-nation base of Latkovia is mistakenly referred to as "Latveria" in X-Patrol I#1 but "Latkovia" in all other mentions/appearances.
