History:
(Battle I#25/2) - The Wasp sent teams of guerrillas into South Korea to spread havoc. Some of her men were captured by Battle Brady and Sgt. "Socko" Swenski. Their superior officer, Colonel Grannet, sent them alongside Nim Yang Sang of the Korean National Police to find the Wasp. Soon after they began their search, the Wasp herself confronted them, posing as a South Korean civilian. She claimed guerrillas were stealing her farm's rice crop but once the three men were facing the farm with their backs to her, she drew her gun and took them prisoner.

The Wasp commandeered the jeep the three men had been riding in and made Swenski and Nim Yang Sang drive for her. Battle Brady was placed on a wagon with one of the Wasp's guerrillas guarding him but he caused a commotion by throwing a lit cigarette at the wagon's horse then stole away riding the horse. The Wasp tried to shoot Brady but Nim Yang Sang swerved the jeep to throw off her aim. Brady jumped aboard the jeep and overpowered the Wasp.

Creating flaming arrows, Brady set the wagons carrying rice stalks aflame. The smoke was seen by Nim Yang Sang's men and brought them to the location. With a large force of the National Police present, the Wasp's guerrillas were overwhelmed and beaten. The Wasp was imprisoned.

CLARIFICATIONS:
The Wasp should not be confused with:

Colonel Grannet

Colonel Grannet was a U.S. Army officer who worked with Nim Yang Sang, the Korean national police chief. Colonel Grannet led efforts to stop the Wasp and sent Battle Brady and Sgt. "Socko" Swenski to assist Nim Yang Sang to that end.

--Battle I#25/2

Nim Yang Sang

Nim Yang Sang was the Korean National Police chief. He worked alongside Colonel Grannet of the U.S. Army. After Grannet assigned Battle Brady and Sgt. "Socko" Swenski to assist him, the three men soon found the Wasp but were captured by her. The Wasp commandeered Nim Yang Sang's jeep and forced him to drive for her. When Brady escaped the Wasp's men, Nim Yang Sang swerved on the road with the jeep so the Wasp would be unable to hit Brady with her bullets. Brady summoned up more members of the National Police to help them overwhelm and defeat the Wasp's guerrilla army.
