History:
(Combat Kelly I#24/3) - In the city of Pusan, Pusan Polly trolled around in a convertible until she spotted Mike Ramson, a U.S. soldier who had received a 24-hour pass and wanted to spend it alone, away from the rest of his squad. Claiming to be a hostess from an American club, Polly told Mike there was going to be a dance and offered to drive him there. Taken by her beauty, Mike happily got into her car. Instead of going to a club, Polly brought Mike to a shack where her fellow spies were lying in wait. As soon as Mike entered the room, one of the spies hit Mike over the head with a club, saying "This is a Communist club!"

Polly directed her allies to remove Mike's uniform so their fellow operatives could make use of it. However, unknown to Polly, three of Mike's fellow soldiers from his company had been trailing after him and followed Polly to the shack. Although the soldiers were unidentified, they quickly outfought Polly's associates. Revived, Mike took Polly captive himself. The four soldiers contacted the Military Police, who arrested Polly and her fellow spies.

CLARIFICATIONS:
Pusan Polly should not be confused with:

Mike Ramson

Mike Ramson was a soldier in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. As a rookie, he received a lecture from Cookie Novak about the importance of having "buddies" among his fellow soldiers. Heedless of the lesson, Mike decided to spend his 24-hour pass in Pusan alone, considering his fellow soldiers mere "shadows." In Pusan, Mike was easily swayed by the beautiful Pusan Polly into following her to a shack which she claimed was an American club. Inside, Polly's fellow spies clubbed Mike over the head and planned to seize his uniform for use by other operatives but three of Mike's fellow soldiers had indeed been shadowing him and they burst into the shack to rescue him. Mike revived in time to capture Pusan Polly and they delivered all of the spies to the Military Police. Now convinced of the importance of having "buddies," Mike paid a rickshaw driver for the use of his rickshaw and brought his buddies back to camp, surprising Cookie Novak.
