History: (Untold Tales of Spider-Man '97 Annual - "Untold Tales You'll Never See!: Spidey's Gals, Gwen & Mary Jane" (fb) - BTS) - The "red-blooded all-American teen" Spidey accidentally booked two dates for the prom: Gwen and Mary Jane.

(Untold Tales of Spider-Man '97 Annual - "Untold Tales You'll Never See!: Spidey's Gals, Gwen & Mary Jane") - While Spidey fretted over how to handle the situation of two prom dates, Mad Doctor Octopus came a'calling. Noticing Spidey's worries, Gwen commented that boys were all alike and Mary Jane agreed, remarking that boys were she liked as well.

(Spider-Verse I#2/5 (fb) -BTS) - Spidey was recruited into the Multiversal Spider-Army to aid in the defeat of Earth-001's vampiric Inheritors.

(Spider-Verse I#2/5) - Spidey joined numerous other Spider-totems on Earth-001's Loomworld in a massive battle against the Inheritors.

    Spidey's Spider-Sense seemed to physically manifest itself.
    That may very well be the case, considering that he is the only Spider-totem shown with the wiggly lines radiating from his head in Spider-Verse I#2. One would think all of the Spider-totems' Spider-Senses would be going off in the midst of such a large fight and he's the only one displaying the wiggly lines...--Proto-Man

    Spidey's half-costume appeared to be drawn reversed in Spider-Verse I#2. In Untold Tales of Spider-Man '97 Annual, his Spidey costume was on the left side of his face but Spider-Verse I#2, the costume is drawn on the right side of his face. --Proto-Man
