History: (Marvel Vision I#2 - Timeslip) - Losing his parents at a young age, Peter Parker was taken in by his uncle Ben and aunt May, who raised him as their own. He grew up a bit old-fashioned and was constantly teased by his peers until one day when he visited a science exhibit on radioactive energy. During the exhibit, Parker was bitten by a spider that had been doused in the radioactive energy, causing him to undergo a mutation that gave him spider-like agility and senses, as well as the power to climb walls. Soon after, Parker used his intelligence to design a web-like apparatus that would enable him to swing from building to building and he decided to take the name Spider-Man.

(Spider-Verse I#2/5) - Spider-Man of Earth-96211 was drawn into a massive battle on Earth-001 in which Spider-Men from numerous alternate realities battled the Inheritors.

Comments: Created by Jim Krueger and Mike Allred.

The divergent point for Spider-Man's Timeslip reality occurred during the events seen in Amazing Fantasy I#15 (August, 1962).
