Powers/Abilities: While Sparrow did not display any superhuman powers but, as a mutant, she likely possessed the same ability to generate explosive energy globules that her Earth-9602 counterpart had.

She is a skilled driver, able to drive Dark Claw's sophisticated Clawmobile vehicle, and is skilled in the use of computers, especially in those used to control Dark Claw's Danger Cave training simulation room.

History: (Dark Claw Adventures#1 (fb) - BTS) - The young mutant Sparrow became the partner of the vigilante Dark Claw and at some point presumably donned a new costume or replaced the original Sparrow, as a Sparrow costume was placed under glass within Dark Claw's headquarters, the Burrow.

(Dark Claw Adventures#1) - Sparrow pulled the Clawmobile up behind Lenny's Bar and Grill, where Dark Claw had just been attacked by a pair of Cyber-Ninja Assassins while playing poker in his undercover guise of "Patch Malone." As she pulled up, Sparrow sung a theme song for Dark Claw and narrated her own arrival by stating "The Clawmobile speeds to the rescue." Dark Claw immediately told Sparrow not to call his car that and Dark Claw revealed that, since the Cyber-Ninja Assassins recognized him out of costume, Lady Talia was back in town.

Sparrow and Dark Claw returned to the Burrow, where Sparrow accused Dark Claw of "falling to pieces" whenever Lady Talia was around. Dark Claw suggested Sparrow not exaggerate but Sparrow claimed Dark Claw was lucky to have her around, as he had gotten careless while thinking about Lady Talia, allowing himself to get shot. Dark Claw replied by reminding Sparrow that his mutant healing factor would heal the gunshot wound within ten minutes. Sparrow wanted to go after Lady Talia and noted that it was uncharacteristic of Dark Claw to hide in the Burrow but Dark Claw said that he had to instead train in the Danger Cave because he needed to be at his best when facing Talia. He then ordered Sparrow to set up a strenuous program for him in the Danger Cave but Sparrow protested, still feeling as if they should be going after Lady Talia instead of sitting around the Burrow. When Dark Claw reminded her that their partnership was not a democracy and again ordered her to set up the Danger Cave programs, Sparrow reluctantly obeyed and subsequently sat up in the Danger Cave control room as Dark Claw prepared to rip apart life-model-decoy robots patterned after his deadliest foes. As the training session began, Sparrow confirmed that Dark Claw could hear her in his headset, to which Dark Claw replied in the affirmative and told her to stop chewing gum. Sarcastically agreeing to stop, Sparrow then explained that all Dark Claw had to do was make it to the exit as a roomful of his deadliest foes attempted to stop him. She then announced that Dark Claw had five minutes to complete his goal. The lights soon suddenly went off and Sparrow was ambushed by Lady Talia, who bound and gagged the teenager. With Sparrow out of action, Lady Talia then attacked Dark Claw in the Burrow as a helpless Sparrow watched. Sparrow subsequently watched as Dark Claw managed to flip Talia in a glass case housing Sparrow's original costume but, after a fierce battle, Lady Talia impaled Dark Claw through his chest with her cybernetic claw.\

With Dark Claw seemingly dead, Sparrow's eyes filled with tears as Lady Talia approached her. As Lady Talia used her claw to free the young mutant from her gag, the tearful Sparrow asked Talia if she was going to kill her as well but Lady Talia responded that she would not kill Sparrow because she was an innocent. Lady Talia, who now regretted killing her beloved Dark Claw, was about to take her own life when Dark Claw spoke, much to the surprise of both Sparrow and Talia. Although severely wounded, Dark Claw's mutant healing factor prevented him from dying and, as Dark Claw and Lady Talia made peace with each other, an impatient Sparrow asked if someone could untie her.

In case you're confused, Amalgam Comics didn't really exist beyond those seen in the few DC/Marvel cross-overs. The titles you don't recognize are amalgams of similar Marvel and DC comics--Snood.

The Dark Claw Adventures story was confirmed to occur in a different reality (later designated as Earth-97643) than the other Amalgam stories (Earth-9602) in the letters page of Dark Claw Adventures#1. With that in mind, the letters page also established that Earth-97643's Sparrow is a bit older than the Earth-9602 Sparrow. Another difference between the two realities is that Dark Claw's base is called the Barrow on Earth-9602 and the Burrow on Earth-97643.

This profile was originally part of the profile on Sparrow of Earth-9602 written by Skullogeist but has been split into its own profile since the two Sparrows were from two different realities.

In case it's not obvious, this reality's Sparrow was an amalgamation of animated versions of Marvel's Jubilee (of Earth-92131) and DC's Robin (Tim Drake).

It was unclear if the Earth-97643 Sparrow had the real name of Jubilation Lee, like her Earth-9602 counterpart, but it seems likely.

The Burrow

The Burrow was the underground, cave-like headquarters of Dark Claw and Sparrow. It housed a pneumatic tube-like entrance that both heroes could drop into to be deposited into the Burrow itself and it also contained a veritable museum of souvenirs from Dark Claw's past missions, including a giant Canadian penny, a giant playing card with a skull on it, a statue of a dinosaur and a glass case with a Sparrow costume inside. After he was attacked by Cyber-Ninja Assassins sent by Lady Talia, Dark Claw returned to the Burrow alongside Sparrow, where Sparrow chastised Dark Claw for sitting around instead of going after Lady Talia. Knowing he had to be at his best to stop Lady Talia, Dark Claw ordered Sparrow to monitor his progress through a Danger Cave training session until Lady Talia snuck into the Burrow and tied up Sparrow. Talia then attacked Dark Claw within the Burrow until she regretted her actions after impaling Dark Claw. Dark Claw and Talia then made peace with one another as Sparrow sat on the floor of the Burrow waiting to be untied. alongside

Clawmobile

The Clawmobile was Dark Claw's vehicle that Sparrow often drove into action. Despite Dark Claw's protests, Sparrow named the vehicle and Dark Claw insisted the vehicle was not called the Clawmobile. After Dark Claw was attacked by Cyber-Ninja Assassins, Sparrow drove the Clawmobile to pick up her partner and then drove them back to the Burrow.

Danger Cave

The Danger Cave was a room in the Burrow that was equipped with holographic technology for the purposes of training simulations. Following an attack from Cyber-Ninja Assassins, Dark Claw ordered Sparrow to monitor his progress in a Danger Cave simulation as he trained for an impending battle against Lady Talia. During the session, the power to the Danger Cave and Burrow was cut and Sparrow was tied up by Lady Talia, who attacked Dark Claw.
