History: (Blackwulf#1 (fb, BTS))- Sparrow was a government agent assigned to assist Pelops, a Deviant from the underground kingdom of Lyonesse who was waging was against his father Tantalus under the guise of Blackwulf. Sparrow joined his Underground Legion, and fell in love with him.

(Blackwulf#1)- Sparrow accompanied Blackwulf and Mammoth in rescuing Dr. Caitlin Maddox from Tantalus' Peacekeepers, and later aided Blackwulf in explaining the history of his war with Tantalus to her. She asked Blackwulf to end his double life in Lyonesse and he agreed, but only after bringing his younger brother Lucian back to join the Underground Legion.

(Blackwulf#2)- The next day, Sparrow received a package in the mail containing Pelops' head. She was severely traumatized by this, and informed the Underground Legion of Pelops' double life as Blackwulf. She insisted in joining them in their next mission to Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, but Toxin knocked her out with a sedative.

(Blackwulf#3/2)- As she slept, Sparrow had a nightmare in which she married Blackwulf, but he then took his own head off. Awakening, she was consoled by Touchstone, then sought out Dr. Broadhurst, who was speaking with their CIA contact, Mason. Mason told Sparrow how they had lost contact with Michael Rossi in Ottsville, Pennsylvania, and she agreed to investigate. Arriving there, she met up with Rossi, and found that he had been taken over by living circuitry employed by Ultron.

(Blackwulf#4/2)- Ultron sicced his robot dog Rex on Sparrow, but she destroyed him. However, she was then captured by Ultron's other servant, Sentry#459, and she was knocked unconscious. When she awoke, Ultron revealed that he had re-wired her so that she would be forced to serve him.

(Blackwulf#5)- The Underground soon arrived in Ottsville looking for Sparrow with Giant-Man, and Sparrow and Rossi pretended to still be in control, but the Underground suspected something was amiss when they saw how friendly Sparrow was with Blackwulf. Mammoth broke Ultron's control over her by telling her that Lucian had killed Pelops and taken the name Blackwulf from him. Sparrow flew into a rage and attacked him, but was pulled away by Mammoth. Sparrow hunted Ultron down for revenge, but he evaded her, and presented her with a black box which could control her body's nervous system.

(Blackwulf#6)- Sparrow was examined back at the mansion by Dr. Broadhurst, who warned her that the black box could prove addictive, but she refused to listen to him. She set after Blackwulf and tried to kill him in battle, still believing he had killed Pelops, but he defeated her. Blackwulf had an opportunity to kill her with his Black Legacy, and she welcomed it. At this, Blackwulf stood down, disgusted at her lack of emotions. He told her that Pelops' last words had been that he loved her-- but Lucian didn't believe Sparrow deserved such love.

(Blackwulf#7 (fb))- When the rest of the Underground learnt how Sparrow had let Blackwulf walk out, Mammoth chastised her, and she walked out on the team.

(Blackwulf#7)- Sparrow set after Blackwulf, and found him being bested in battle by the Godstalker, who shattered his Shadowlance in half. Sparrow took up the halves of the Shadowlance herself, and by channeling her own hatred, seemingly destroyed the Godstalker. She brought Blackwulf to her apartment, but when revived, he immediately realized that the Godstalker could not have been destroyed-- just as it attacked her building!

(Blackwulf#8)- Sparrow assisted Blackwulf against the Godstalker while simultaneously aiding the people caught in the wreckage, including her landlady Mamie Muggins, who observed that her lease "expressly prohibits super heroes!" Blackwulf was pulled into another a dimension by the Godstalker, leaving Sparrow behind to pick up the pieces.

(Blackwulf#9)- Sparrow broke into Lyonesse and defeated several of the Deviants there, then confronted Khult with the broken Shadowlance. She informed Khult of Blackwulf's danger, and Khult told her the history of Tantalus and his family. Khult repaired the Shadowlance, making it a fourth-dimensional weapon, then provided her transport to aid Blackwulf. As she departed, he told her that Lucian had nothing to do with Pelops' death, and she admitted that she already knew it. She brought the Shadowlance to Blackwulf, and with it, he was able to hold his own against the Godstalker, which ultimately bonded to the lance.

(Blackwulf#10)- Apparently brought to Armechadon by Khult, Sparrow joined the Underground in its final battle with Tantalus, and defeated Wraath herself. Ultimately Blackwulf slew Tantalus, but was transformed into an ebon black form as a result.
