History:

(Spider-Verse III#1 (fb) - BTS) - Following a war in which nuclear bombs fell and irradiated most everything with radioactive fallout, the man later known as Lord Spider became humanity's protector, fighting against mutants who wished to destroy the last vestiges of humanity.

(Spider-Verse III#1) - While being pulled through the Great Web of Life and Destiny, Earth-1610's Spider-Man (Miles Morales) was deposited onto Earth-10113519 atop the hood of Lord Spider's spider-themed vehicle. Not too shocked by Spider-Man-1610's sudden arrival, Lord Spider merely noted the stowaway and suggested Spider-Man-1610 climb aboard for humanity's last ride. When Spider-Man-1610 asked what Lord Spider meant, Lord Spider explained that he was carrying the last sample of nonirradiated human DNA and how the mutants would stop at nothing to end the human race forever. Proclaiming he was all that stood between the mutants and the extinction of the human race as a group of mutants pulled closer to his vehicle, Lord Spider commended Spider-Man-1610 on his bravery and willingness to help his plight as Spider-Man-1610 was pulled to another reality. Lord Spider then continued on his way, commenting on the strange omen of Spider-Man-1610's appearance in his reality and the hope that it was a lucky omen.

(Spider-Verse III#6 (fb) - BTS) - Lord Spider was recruited from his home reality to assist Spider-Man-1610 and numerous other Spider-totems in locating Earth-18119's Spiderling, patternmaker of the Great Web of Life and Destiny.

(Spider-Verse III#6 (fb)) - After arriving on Earth-001's Loomworld, Lord Spider watched as Earth-19166's Spider-Zero located Spiderling not within another reality but rather, trapped within a tangle in the Great Web.

(Spider-Verse III#6) - Lord Spider joined the assembled group of Spider-totems in converging on the tangle in the Great Web, only to find the Web itself in pain. When the Web opened portals to Earth-51778, unleashing a swarm of Machine Bem Monsters to stop the assembled Spider-totems, Lord Spider fiercely fought the Machine Bem Monsters alongside his allies, yelling "For the Future!" as he punched an insect-like monster. While Lord Spider and the other Spider-totems kept the Machine Bem Monsters at bay, Spider-Man-1610 and Spider-Zero-19166 unraveled the tangle in the Great Web enough to free Spiderling, who used her abilities as patternmaker to send the Machine Bem Monsters and Spider-totems (including Lord Spider) back to their home realities. With Spiderling free, the tangle in the Great Web came undone as well.

Comments: Created by Jed McKay, James Harren and Dave Stewart.

Lord Spider is one of several Spidersona's who appeared in the back-pages of Spider-Verse (2020). "Spidersona" was a hashtag that launched around the release of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018). Amazed at the talent of creativity of people posting their creations online, Marvel reached out to some of these artists to create new Spidersona art especially for the Spider-Verse (2020) series. Every issue showcased several original pieces of Spidersona art by artists from around the globe after which most appeared in the story as well.

While there were several artists credited in Spider-Verse III#1, James Harren and Dave Stewart were the artists specifically credited for pages 9-10, the pages containing Lord Spider. Therefore, I have listed only those two artists as creators in this profile.

Lord Spider's eyes were never shown well enough to determine an eye color. If he is a Peter Parker counterpart in his reality then chances are, his eyes are brown.

Lord Spider's reality resembled that of the post-apocalyptic road warrior Mad Max film series.
