History:

(Marauders I#1 - BTS) - When Charles Xavier and Magneto established the sovereign mutant nation of Krakoa, Curse was one of the many mutants answering the call and came to live on Krakoa.

(New Mutants IV#15 - BTS) - Curse, Fauna and other younger mutants came to live in the Fort, which is part of the Akademos Habitat, designed to act as home, education center and training facility to younger mutants.

(Marauders I#1) - Curse was one of the mutants who witnessed the arrival of Kate Pryde to Krakoa. Since Pryde wasn't able to travel through the Krakoan gates she had to use a small ship to reach the island on her own. Now on Krakoa, Pryde once again tried to step through a Krakoan gate while Curse commented she heard about the mutant that couldn't use gates. Annoyed at the smart alec, Pryde replied Curse was the kid everybody wanted to fight. Just then, Iceman showed up, welcoming Pryde to Krakoa.

(Cable IV#1 (fb) - BTS) - Having befriended Fauna, another Krakoan mutant, the duo played near the Arak Coral (a portion of Arakko which had re-merged with Krakoa) when Fauna ran off. Afraid to tell the grownups Curse sought out the young Cable.

(Cable IV#1) - Curse managed to locate Cable and his friends Pixie and Armor near the Quarry where she asked for his help. Cable, Pixie and Armor set out to find Fauna, fighting a large beast and gaining the Light of Galador in the process.

(Marauders I#12) - Learning Kate Pryde had finally been resurrected (she was killed by Sebastian Shaw) after many failed attempts, Curse joined a large gathering of mutants rescued by Kate Pryde and the Hellfire Trading Company to welcome he back to the land of the living.

(Excalibur IV#17) - When members of Excalibur used the Hub (the crystal cave through which mutants can reach any number of other Krakoan habitats and gateways) to move their belongings to the Braddock Lighthouse in Cornwall, Curse was present to welcome Pete Wisdom to Krakoa, offering a floral wreath. Curse's presence took Wisdom off guard who quickly refused her offer and walked away.

(New Mutants IV#14) - Curse, Trance, Icarus and several other young mutants were present in Krakoa's Wild Hunt where Warpath and the New Mutants demonstrated how to use their mutant powers in synergy. Witnessing an amazing battle the young mutants cheered.

(New Mutants IV#15 (fb) - BTS) - The Fort, Curse's home, was partly destroyed by a group of mutant bullies who also lived in the Akademos Habitat. Fearing retaliation, Curse and the other young mutants decided to keep their identity a secret in fear of repercussion.

(New Mutants IV#15) - Learning of the Fort's destruction, Magik came to investigate and questioned Curse and the other youngsters who refused to talk. The young Fauna, however, revealed the truth to Magik who then set out to teach the bullies a lesson.

(New Mutants IV#16) - Having confronted the bullies, Magik ordered them to rebuild the Fort while Curse and other youngsters watched. One of them, Jacob Williams, handed Curse a doll of Jean Grey to make up for his bad behavior.

(New Mutants IV#18) - Curse was present amongst many mutants in the Arena to watch as Karma participated in the Crucible, a ceremony in which a (former) mutant had to battle for the chance to be killed and reborn a true mutant. Karma participated as she was bonded to her twin brother's life essence and hoped they could properly resurrect him.

Comments: Created by Gerry Duggan and Matteo Lolli.

Curse's appearance in Marauders I#12 (2020) is a bit problematic. She appears as one of the many mutants saved and brought to Krakoa by Kate Pryde and the Hellfire Trading Company. The thing is, Curse was already on Krakoa before Pryde founded the Marauders. Then again, Curse could've just snuck in. Curse, supposedly also appears in Excalibur IV#17 (2021) where she welcomes Pete Wisdom to Krakoa. Her appearance differs somewhat from her other appearances but seeing the character has the same skintone, shapes on her head, eye-color and color of dress are somewhat the same we can assume it's the same character.

Curse is one of the many new mutants introduced during the Krakoan age, but one of the few who's been identified. Others include Abeni, Aphelion (Reed Fox), Markos Argyros, Bad Guy (Gabe), Brutha Nature (Jacob Williams), Aura Charles, Paulie DiCosta, D-Cel (Miranda Manuel), Leonara Eng, Escapade (Shela Sexton), Faceshopper (Soph), Fauna (Desmond Ochoa-Diaz), Fish, Galura (Gabrielle Diwa), Gimmick (Carmen Cruz), Good Arson (Rex Ridley), Harmonize (ZZ Phalen), Jellick, Jersey Devil, Julia, Kafka, Kappa (Megan Ogawa), Kayla, Liana, Christopher O'Leary, Cam Long, Lost (Marinette), Pity Girl (Nora Kuang), Morgan Red, Rosie Rodriguez, Monica Sellers, Sights, Soft Serve, Somnus (Carl Valentino), Sonos Rex and Wrench.
