History:
(X-Men: Ronin#5 (fb) - BTS) - New York was seized by anti-mutant hysteria after Emma Frost had convinced the local police that the X-Men were a band of marauding monsters. Psylocke learned Yoshida's police force were actively rounding up every mutant they could find supposedly for questioning, however in reality the mutants would be arrested and incarcerated. Determined to stop the persecution of her people Psylocke set out to find Master Toad a well-known mutant sensei.

(X-Men: Ronin#5) - Arriving at the home of Master Toad she found he was in the company of the X-Men who'd sought refuge since their home had been destroyed in a battle against Yoshida's Sentinel Force. Noting she wished her reunion with Master Toad would've occurred at a happier time Psylocke revealed her findings, adding there had been reports of several dead mutants as well.

(X-Men: Ronin#5 - BTS) - It was then decided that Psylocke would assist and help the X-Men to rescue mutants from being incarcerated by the police force.

(X-Men: Ronin#5) - Psylocke and the X-Men arrived in the city and witnessed how two young mutants, Sam and Paige fought off and defeated their assailants. Wolverine noted the duo clearly didn't need any help after which Sam furiously claimed their prosecution was the X-Men's doing. Wolverine then ordered Psylocke to take the youngsters back to Master Toad to keep them safe, Psylocke assured Sam and Paige to explain everything to them.

Comments: Created by J. Torres (writer), Makoto Nakatsuka (pencils, inks).

It's been unrevealed if Psylocke has any connection to the Shadowcat Ninja Clan who wear outfits resembling Psylocke of Earth-616.

Due to the Asian specific nature of the Mangaverse reality, it goes without saying that while characters might look similar to their 616 counterparts, they most likely will have distinctly different names, codenames or powers. Therefore we will only list the names when they have been used in the comics.
