Powers/Abilities:  Psylocke could manipulate mystic energy to small degree, focusing it into an intangible mystic blade that appeared in her hands. Due to a bite from an Ovi, Psylocke was virtually immortal, able to survive forever as long as she consumed the flesh of animals or humans.

History:  (X-Men Millennial Visions 2001 - "Psylocke: The Bladeless Sword" (fb) - BTS) - Born into a family of warrior mystics, Psylocke trained from an early age to wield weapons and magic together. When she turned 16, she learned the Bladeless Sword technique that allowed her to channel mystic energy into a mystic blade.

 (X-Men Millennial Visions 2001 - "Psylocke: The Bladeless Sword" (fb) - BTS) - One night after aiding a neighboring village against a group of undead Ovi, Psylocke returned home to find that an Ovi had killed her family while she was away. Seeing Psylocke, the Ovi jumped at her, biting her. Psylocke managed to release the Ovi's grip on her by stabbing it in the eye, but the next morning she awoke to find herself invigorated, virtually immortal, and with a strange hunger for human flesh.

 (X-Men Millennial Visions 2001 - "Psylocke: The Bladeless Sword") - Hating her new cursed life, Psylocke fed on animals and criminals while she devoted her life to finding the Ovi who slew her family. Her travels took her through Japan and beyond.
