History:
(Daredevil I#604 (fb) - BTS) - Father Jordan, a Catholic priest, joined the Ordo Draconum, an ancient line of Catholic knights who worked to protect the world against threats. Jordan took a post in New York City, running the Ordo Draconum watchpost there.

(Daredevil V#15 (fb) ) - Matt Murdock entered Jordan's church and, in the confessional, asked to talk. Jordan told Murdock that he would speak to him in the church for a conversation, but he wouldn't do it in the confessional. Jordan soon introduced himself and offered to help restore Matt's understanding of good and evil.

(Daredevil V#16 (fb) ) - Jordan went walking with Murdock, explaining his thoughts on God and creation, when a group of muggers surrounded them. Jordan rolled up his sleeves, showing his Holy Order tattoos, and he battled the men back without realizing Murdock had subtly helped him. Jordan revealed he was a member of the Ordo Draconum, then told Murdock to keep striving to find the good in the world.

(Daredevil V#16) - Murdock later returned to confession and he told Jordan that he was Daredevil, and that he wanted to confess about how he'd made the world forget who he was.

(Daredevil V#17-20) - Daredevil told Father Jordan the truth about his recent life, discussing criminals, including beating up the Purple Man, his lies to Kirsten McDuffie, and choosing not to come clean to her about his identity after the Purple Children erased the public's knowledge of his real name. Father Jordan comforted Matt and instructed him to forgive himself. Jordan told Matt that his penance was to do his best to end crime in New York City.

(Daredevil I#603) - When the Hand unleashed a gas attack on New York City, Father Jordan put on a suit to protect himself and went to City Hall, where Matt Murdock was the city's acting mayor. Jordan offered his support as he introduced himself to Blindspot, Foggy Nelson, Steve Cornish, and others.

(Daredevil I#604) - Jordan ordered Cornish, Blindspot, Nelson, and the others to leave the room. Jordan cast the evil (a gaseous substance sent out by the Beast of the Hand) out of Murdock, then he assembled the Ordo Draconum, and they began attacking the Hand across the city. Jordan informed Matt that the Beast was slowing time in the ara. They met with Commissioner Karnik, who helped them find the Beast's location, then Daredevil, wielding a sword, went with the Ordo Draconum to confront the Hand directly.

(Daredevil I#605) - Members of the Ordo Draconum, including Szelik, were overwhelmed by their odds against the Hand. Daredevil led them to police horses, and they pressed their attack. Joining with other heroes, including Blindspot, Spider-Man, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Elektra, and Moon Knight, as well as the local police, the Ordo Draconum saw Daredevil lead the charge in defeating the Beast. With many of their members lost, Jordan realized they would need to go on a recruitment drive. With Daredevil's permission, Jordan asked Blindspot if he might like to join them.

The Ordo Draconum, or Order of the Dragon, has basis in actual history. King Sigismund is a real historical figure.
