History:
(Daredevil IV#8 (fb) - BTS) - Zebediah Killgrave, the Purple Man, fathered several children with different women, using his mind control powers to have sex with them, then leaving them pregnant and to raise the children solo.

(Daredevil IV#8 (fb) - BTS) - The Purple Man fathered a child, Jaime, with Lahni. Lahni raised Jaime on her own.

(Daredevil IV#8 (fB) - BTS) - Wanting a sense of family, Killgrave returned to reclaim four of his children, including Connor, Joe, and Shallah. Connor's mother had died in childbirth, and Shallah's mother was in jail.

(Daredevil IV#8) - Killgrave and the four Purple Children broke in through Jaime's window and pinned him down, telling him it was time to join them. Killgrave stopped Lahni from calling the police, then he ordered her to commit suicide as he took Jaime away with him. Purple Man left suggestions with the neighbors to help deter police, like Detective Larson. The Purple Children gave Killgrave a birthday party as he lectured them about their powers, which he considered their birthright. Killgrave demanded that the kids love him unconditionally, but they found they were able to combine their powers to control him, making him walk out in front of a street car. With Killgrave seemingly dead, the Children went to explore the city.

(Daredevil IV#9) - The Purple Kids walked down the street, making people cry and scream as they passed, then they stole a cop car for fun. Daredevil forced the car to crash, then the kids inspired a crowd to rise up against him, as the police arrived, firing tear gas to settle down the crowd. The Kids made the cops turn on each other, then they projected their pain and loneliness on to Daredevil, making him fall off a bridge.

(Daredevil IV#10) - The Kids took over an arcade, ordering everyone else there to leave, but soon Killgrave himself showed up, his body badly broken from being hit by a street car. As Killgrave threatened the kids, Daredevil showed up, overwhelming Killgrave's senses by cranking up the music and then knocking him out as the police arrived. Matt made sure the children were separated by the police, and the kids' skin turned back to normal with their powers seemingly going away.

(Daredevil V#18 (fb) - BTS) - The Purple Kids stayed in touch through chatting, social media, and phone calls. Killgrave escaped prison by convincing a woman named Melissa to murder the guard John. He then sent a mob to gather the Purple Kids. After a time, Jaime, Connor, and the other girl went quiet, and Shallah and Joe went to San Francisco to find them.

(Daredevil V#17 (fb)) - Shallah and Joe showed up at the home of Kirsten McDuffie, seeking Matt Murdock.

(Daredevil V#18 (fb)) - Joe and Shallah ran inside to escape the mob, and Matt placed them in a panic room with Kirsten while he knocked out the mob that had been sent after him. Joe and Shallah asked for help, and Daredevil took them through the city and they realized they could sense the other Kids the closer they got. They discovered he'd placed the other three children in giant purple crystals which were being used to power a machine. Killgrave swiftly knocked the kids out then took over Daredevil's mind.

(Daredevil V#19 (fb)) - The Purple Children powered the machine, making Killgrave more powerful. Daredevil soon defeated Killgrave and freed the Purple Children, then he left to go find Kirsten. The Children wondered if they could do something to help him.

(Daredevil V#20 (fb)) - The Purple Children used Killgrave's machine to send out a telepathic message to the world. "You don't know Daredevil's real name. Anything you see or hear or learn that tells you who Daredevil is, you won't see or hear or learn, unless Daredevil wants you to. Daredevil does good things." And the world promptly forgot Matt's identity.

(Daredevil V#20 (fb) - BTS) - The Purple Children destroyed the machine and then left, leaving Killgrave to be arrested.

(Jessica Jones: Purple Daughter#3 (fb) - BTS) - Benjamin Killgrave, another son of the Purple Man, acquired the body of his father and strapped him to a machine, realizing that he could siphon parts of Killgrave's blood and mix it with his own to increase his control of others. He contacted the Purple Kids and their other sibling, Kara Killgrave, and they all agreed to help him keep Killgrave contained, thinking it would do the world good.

(Jessica Jones: Purple Daughter#1) - The Purple Kids watched from the bushes as Jessica Jones reached out to Kara Killgrave for help regarding her daughter, Danielle Cage. Later, the Purple Children followed Jessica as she searched for answers, and they reported back to Benjamin.

(Jessica Jones: Purple Daughter#2) - After Benjamin sent Kara to hold Jessica off, the Purple Children stood guard at his door as Jessica and Emma Frost arrived, and Frost forced them to leave the scene and walk away. After hearing that Jessica's daughter Danielle Cage had been turned purple, the Kids told Jessica what she would find inside was not what she would think.

(Jessica Jones: Purple Daughter#3) - Benjamin trapped Jessica Jones and Luke Cage in a mental spell. The Purple Kids came over to visit, concerned that Benjamin was taking things too far, and they decided to intervene. They returned with Kara to find Benjamin unconscious, and they kept him that way. They apologized to Jessica, not having realized how evil Benjamin was, and they learned that Killgrave had manipulated events to turn Danielle purple, thus bringing Jessica and Cage to the situation.

(Devil's Reign#2) - The Purple Children watched Iron Man, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, Captain America, and Danielle Cage arrive at Avengers Mansion.

(Devil's Reign#3) - The Purple Children were in hiding in New York as they made plans to kill their father. When an old woman offered them shelter, some of the kids wanted to use their power, but Joe convinced to simply accept her offer of help without coercion.

(Devil's Reign#5/Devil's Reign: Villains for Hire#3) - The Purple Children were considering ways to go after their father with Anti-Crime Drones patrolling the streets, but they were attacked by the Thunderbolts and easily defeated when Electro zapped them. The Champions and Jessica Jones arrived and saved one of the kids (Joe) before being chased off by the Thunderbolts and the Abomination. The other four kids were returned to the Kingpin, who had their father trapped in a crystal, and Dr. Octopus and the Hulk (Otto Banner) drained their energy to make the Kingpin stronger. Joe was taken back to Daredevil, Luke Cage, Captain America, Spider-Man, and She-Hulk, and Joe encouraged Daredevil to kill the Purple Man, but Daredevil refused to kill anyone.

(Devil's Reign#6) - Killgrave kept controlling the heroes as they fought. When Joe got close, Killgrave told him that his siblings were dead, then he ordered Luke Cage to kill Joe, but Cage instead offered support to Joe, who managed to overwhelm Killgrave and knock him out. Then the Purple Kids were reunited.

(Devil's Reign Omega#1 (fb) - BTS) - The four Purple Kids who lost their powers were kept together in one foster home, but Joseph still had powers and was kept separately in an orphanage with a power dampener on.

(Devil's Reign Omega#1) - Jessica Jones and Danielle Cage arrived at the orphanage to take Joe home with them. After they took Joe's collar off, he ordered the orphanage attendant to take a walk, but Jessica told him that he couldn't use his powers that way, then took him home to meet Luke Cage, who was now the mayor.

In the main image of this profile, there are multiple Purple Children pictured, but there are only five children who make up the group called the "Purple Children" or "Purple Kids", one of whose names has not been revealed. There are two other known children of Zebediah Killgrave, including Kara (Purple Girl/Persuasion) and Benjamin (the Purple Son).

Shallah and Connor are specifically named, but they have never been specifically identified out of the group images. They do not have specific images here in the profile.
What makes it even worse. Shallah appeared alongside Joe and turned out to be one of the boys, which can work because Shallah is usually a male first name. Problem is, so is Connor! So, we have four male names for three boys and two girls. I am assuming genders BTW!
--Markus Raymond

The Purple Children have no powers, seemingly, when they are far apart. When they join together, their skin turns purple and their manipulation and emotional projection skills seem to expand. Their powers were briefly magnified by the Psycho-Prism.

In Daredevil V#18 Ron Garney drew Joe and Shallah the same size even though Joe is usually the tallest of the group. The next issue Marc Laming corrected this and made Joe the tallest again and the one if the yellow hoody is now the smallest (originally bald child). So Shallah is definitely not a girl and Connor needs to be one of the girls.
