History:
(Northstar#3 (fb) ) - Cell Combattre went with other FLQ members to the streets to demonstrate. In later hours they broke into government buildings where they wrecked havoc and burnt files.

(Marvel Fanfare I#28 (fb) ) - Cell Combattre became a feared terrorist cell. Northstar carried their communiqués and was too fast to be detected or stopped by the police. Northstar left them because he didn't want anything to do with their murderous methods. In the year of the October Crisis, Cell Combattre attacked an R.C.M.P. outpost on Christmas and slaughtered all present policemen. Some time later several FLQ members were caught and the organization destroyed, but no member of Cell Combattre was among the captured. All Cell Combattre members quit their terrorist activities, went underground and began normal lives.

(Marvel Fanfare I#28) - Commander Giles McHeath (as Scourge) started a hunt for the former Cell Combattre members. Numéro Un was found by Scourge and killed in a fire, Clementine died in an explosion after Scourge followed Northstar and Alpha Flight to her hideout. The same happened to Numéro Trois and Lettre A who died through a bomb in their car. Lettre B and C were found as well by Scourge, but Alpha Flight saved the former terrorists and their children from the vigilante. Lettre B and C survived and seemingly continued their normal life.

The woman in Northstar#3 wasn't named as Clementine, but the look and her history as a circus artist works with Northstar's past. In the same issue another member of Cell Combattre is seen, but he was wearing a mask and could therefore not be identified.

Numéro Deux

(Northstar#3 (fb) ) - Clementine was together with Northstar an artist in a circus. She introduced Northstar to the FLQ and later joined Cell Combattre. Northstar followed her way.

(Marvel Fanfare I#28 (fb) ) - As a member of Cell Combattre she committed various terrorist acts. One Christmas she joined Cell Combattre in a murderous attack on an R.C.M.P. outpost. She was never caught and one day she decided to retire from her role as Numéro Deux.

(Alpha Flight I#22 (fb) - BTS) - Clementine returned to her circus and became its owner. She stayed in contact with Northstar by writing him letters. On a tour through Europe she hired Pink Pearl who eliminated all of Clementine's regulars behind Clementine's back to replace them with her own crew. Further problems arose when strange delays kept Clementine's circus from getting to their winter quarters. She wrote Northstar that something bad was happening in her circus.

(Alpha Flight I#22) - Clementine welcomed Northstar and his sister at her circus and explained to Northstar what had happened. Pink Pearl entered Clementine's trailer and knocked her and her friends out. Clementine awakened tied up next to her friends in the circus tent. Pearl told Clementine that she was hired to assassinate the Canadian prime minister and the US president with the bomb she had placed in Clementine's circus. She chose Clementine's circus because of Clementine's past as separatist would lead the authorities to believe that it was an attack by the FLQ. After too much talking Aurora started to fight back and was soon joined by her brother and Clementine. Pink Pearl and her men were defeated. Clementine thanked Northstar and was happy that the secrets of her past would remain secret.

(Marvel Fanfare I#28 (fb) - BTS) - Clementine lost her circus after the Pink Pearl affair. Northstar helped her to go underground again, and Clementine found a new home in a theatre.

(Marvel Fanfare I#28) - After Numéro Un's death Northstar flew to Clementine to look if she was okay. Alpha Flight and Scourge followed him to Clementine, and she was killed by Scourge.
