History:
(U.S.A. Comics I#6/2 (fb) - BTS) - The U.S. pilot Chuck Wilson, Russian pilot Stanisofski and English pilot Twimbly were each shot down over Europe and brought to the same concentration camp in Germany. The three men became friends; Chuck and Twimbly gambled against each other and Chuck wound up winning all of Twimbly's tobacco. One night, Chuck and Stanisofski planned to escape the camp by going underneath the perimeter wire. At the same time, Twimbly knocked out one of the guards and took his uniform to help him in his own escape plan.
(U.S.A. Comics I#6/2) - A Stanisofski and Chuck got under the wire a guard turned a searchlight on them. Using a pistol, Stanisofski shot the light then they fled into the woods. At the same time, Twimbly used the distraction to go over the fence and headed into the woods. The three men met up in the woods and agreed to work together to get out of Germany.
As they exited the woods the three men spotted a truck of soldiers from the camp searching for them. Twimbly took advantage of his stolen uniform to impersonate an officer and claimed he'd caught the two escapees. Once they were close to the truck, Stanisofski attacked the drivers. The three men all donned uniforms and claimed the German truck and rifles. Heading into a town they saw three British planes on display as trophies of German victory. That night, they snuck into the planes, put them back into working order then took flight.
After flying most of the night the trio were almost out of fuel when they spotted a German supply column. They opened fire on the column from the air, causing the trucks to crash. Landing the planes, the trio scavenged fuel from the trucks then returned to the air just as a tank arrived. Stanisofski dropped explosives on the tank, destroying it.
The three planes were out of ammunition just as squad of German Messershmitts attacked them. Twimbly threw his empty tommygun at one of the planes and to his surprise, cracked the cockpit and caused the enemy plane to crash. By this time, the planes were flying over Russian lines and Russian anti-aircraft cannons shot down the remaining two planes.
Landing their planes at a Russian airbase the trio were temporarily shocked to see uniformed Germans but soon learned these men were all prisoners of the Russians. One of the Russians at the base as Nikoli, Stanisofski's eighth cousin, who warmly greeted him and welcomed Chuck and Twimbly to their base.
While Chuck observed they'd added three more planes to the Russians, Twimbly suggested they should return to the concentration camp and break out the other prisoners.
Comments: Created by an unidentified writer and artist.
They never actually called themselves "Terror Squad" in the story.
A next issue blurb claimed that in their next adventure they'd liberate the concentration camp but it wasn't published.
Terror Squad was one of many attempts Marvel made at publishing a team of international pilots like Quality's Blackhawk, but none of them took off.

Nikoli was a Russian soldier who fought the Nazis in World War II. He was the eighth cousin to Stanisofski. Nikoli was stationed at a Russian airbase and took a number of Nazis as prisoners. When Stanisofski, Twimbly and Chuck Wilson escaped Germany they arrived at Nikoli's base and he warmly received his cousin.

Stanisofski was a Russian pilot who was shot down over Europe and brought to a concentration camp in Germany. In the camp he befriended Twimbly and Chuck Wilson. Stanisofski and Chuck plotted an escape from the camp; Stanisofski somehow obtained a pistol for the escape and used it to destroy the camp's searchlight. Encountering Twimbly during their escape, the three men worked together to get out of Germany. Arriving in Russian territory, Stanisofski was pleased to find his eighth cousin Nikoli was one of the soldiers at the base.

He befriended Chuck Wilson and Stanisofski in the camp and gambled against Chuck, losing all of his tobacco. One night, Twimbly knocked out one of the camp guards and donned his uniform. As the camp perimiter was distracted by Chuck and Stanisofski's escape, Twimbly was able to hop the camp's fence during the confusion. Encountering Chuck and Stanisofski outside the camp, Twimbly joined them as they made their escape together, eventually commandeering three British planes and flying into Russian lines.

Chuck Wilson was an American pilot originally from Brooklyn, New York. After being shot down over Europe he was brought to a concentration camp and met fellow pilots Twimbly and Stanisofski. Chuck gambled with Twimbly in the camp and won all of his tobacco. Later, Chuck and Stanisofski broke out of the camp. Discovering Twimbly had likewise broken out, the three of them escpaed together, eventually commandeering three British planes and flying them to the Russian lines.
