previously Vahdala

/ Ultraverse Premiere#7/2 (October, 1994);
(pictured, if only as a simulation from a recording of
his personality Godwheel#1 (January, 1995)
Powers/Abilities: As lord and most powerful of the gods of Vahdala, Ogma was presumably possessed of vast power, presumably on the level of the likes of Reality-616 godheads, such as Odin, Zeus, etc.
Ogma wielded a sword and could apparently project energy blasts.
Height: Unrevealed (it is unclear whether his true form was shown, and if it was, it was only in relation to other gods, who may or may not have been giants)
History:
(Godwheel#1: Godwheel feature (fb) - BTS) - The immense Godwheel was
created by unidentified, virtually unknown beings referred to only as
the builders.
(Godwheel#1: Godwheel feature (fb) - BTS / Godwheel#2/1 (fb) - BTS) - The gods of Vahdala were created by the builders, given life and power by the Crucible of Life as to guide the physical aspects of the Godwheel.
(Godwheel#2/1 (fb) - BTS) - To adapt
to the evolution of the wheelworlds, the builders gave them free will
and choice.
(Godwheel#0/1 (fb) - BTS) - Ogma ruled the gods of Vahdala, the city of the gods. whose inhabitants once ruled an empire of countless realms, holding sway over trillions of subject races (presumably on the Godwheel?) and absolute mastery of space and time.
(Godwheel#2/1 (fb) - BTS) - Ogma was highest of the seven gods whose reason-to-be was the maintenance of the Godwheel.
(Godwheel#2/1 (fb) - BTS) - Each of
the gods were given his own duty: Firna controlled the suns and
temperatures; Andra guided animal life; and Hurdna, controlled plants
and microorganisms.
(Godwheel#0/1 (fb) - BTS) - The guardians of the Keys the
Crucible of Life -- Sarna, god of the sea and protector of Crystal
Crown; Murta, dark master of the earth and keeper of the Roc's Egg; and
Davra, arrogant goddess of the air, wielder of the Windsword -- were the
most powerful of the other gods (excepting Ogma).
(Godwheel#1/2 (fb) - BTS) - At some point, Ogma created Zumas, his pleasure craft, which eventually also became known as the Godyacht.
(Hardcase#16/Ultraverse Premiere#7/2 (fb) - BTS) - Xorn was one of the Old Gods of Vahdala, notably one of Ogma's brood.
(Sludge#12/Ultraverse Premiere#8/2 (fb) - BTS) - Ogma served as the liege of Xorn and others, and they tended the Godwheel under his supervision, bathing in the Crucible of Life.
(Godwheel#0 (fb) - BTS) - Argus departed Vahdala.
(Godwheel#2/1 (fb)
- BTS) - The gods' free will enabled them to envy one another's powers
and duties.
(Sludge#12/Ultraverse Premiere#8/2 (fb) - BTS / Godwheel#0/1 (fb) - BTS) - There was a terrible war, a revolt against Ogma's rule and a battle royale to control the Crucible.
(Godwheel#0/1 (fb) - BTS) - Ogma tried to stop the gods' warring, but that only split them into two factions, those for him and those against him.
(Sludge#12/Ultraverse Premiere#8/2 (fb) - BTS / Godwheel#0/1 (fb) - BTS) - The Guardians chose opposing sides, and with the three keys separated, the Godwheel was rendered useless.
(Godwheel#0/1 (fb) - BTS) - Terrible battles were fought for centuries, and without the Crucible to heal them, gods died by the score.
(Godwheel#2/1 (fb) - BTS) - Portions of the Godwheel
were devastated, and billions of innocents were killed.
(Godwheel#0/1 (fb) - BTS / Godwheel#2/1 (fb) - BTS) - Murta died fighting by Ogma's side, after which Ogma slew Sarna and Davra.
(Godwheel#0/1 (fb) - BTS) - Ogma's rage was terrible to behold, and he declared the surviving gods unworthy of immortality.
(Sludge#12 / Ultraverse Premiere#8/2 (fb) - BTS / Godwheel#0/1 (fb) - BTS) - Ogma banished the keys from Vahdala until three mortals proved worthy of possessing them.
(Godwheel#2/1 (fb) - BTS) - Ogma's enemies ultimately defeated and/or slew his forces, but without the Keys, they could not draw on the power of the Crucible, without which they could not survive.
(Sludge#12 / Ultraverse Premiere#8/2 (fb) - BTS) - While hiding from the minions of Davra, Xorn discovered a cave that was a tech center for the builders (who had created the Godwheel), and he used the technology to sustain him so that he didn't need the Crucible anymore.
(Sludge#12 / Ultraverse Premiere#8/2 (fb) - BTS / Godwheel#2/1 (fb)) - All of the gods died, except Xorn...
(Giant-Size Rune#1 (fb) - BTS) ...and Argus...
(Godwheel#2/1 (fb) - BTS) - For eons, Ogma walked the halls of Vahdala, last survivor of the highest gods, sole preserver of the Godwheel. Ogma finally saw that he too must be unworthy as he had failed to lead the gods truly, and he ended his own existence.
(Godwheel#1/2 (fb) - BTS / Godwheel#2/1 (fb) - BTS) - At some point, Ogma created aboard
the Godyacht a recording of his personality to act as a simulation
through which he could convey the location of the keys to the Crucible
to worthy mortals. He considered this his last gift to the Godwheel.
(Godwheel#2/1 - BTS)
- The Ogma simulation detailed the fate of the gods of Vahdala, noting
that while he did not know who they were, he knew that somehow they had
found Vahdala, and so they must be worthy to take the gods' places. It
further advised them, "Any who can stand
in the transforming light of the Crucible will have his every desire
come to pass. But fall prey to greed as we did, and meet our fate."Comments: Created

The gods of Vahdala
are presumably amongst those seen here.
