History:
(Figment II#1 (fb) - BTS) - Jess lived in a home in Cocoa,
Florida with her daughter Capricious Harmony, who was
inspired by her great-great-great grand uncle, Blair Mercurial, the
legendary Dreamfinder from the Academy
Scientifica-Lucidus.
(Figment II#5 (fb) - BTS) - Jess taught Capricious to help
people whenever she could.
(Figment II#1) - Jess was reading a book on her
front porch when the mailman, Bill, delivered a letter for Capricious,
noting that the girl couldn't help but live up to her name. Having been
expecting a letter from Academy Scientifica-Lucidus USA, Capricious
bounded down the stairs and asked about the letter. Jess chided her for
having gotten her favorite dress soiled by whatever she was building,
butCapricious told her that it was a worthy sacrifice in the name of
science and asked for the letter.
After
Capricious had read that the academy could not accept her until she had
reached physical maturity, Jess comforted her, acknowledging that she had
worked really hard on this but that it was not the right time.
Nonetheless, Jess told her no matter what to not give up hope, as her
dreams would come true some day.
(Figment II#2) - Jess accompanied Capricious to the beach, where she was doing some work in designing some technology she wanted to build, like a flying suit, bringing her some lemonade. After Capricious showed her designs for flight suit she was building, Jess told her that maybe they could go to the scrap heap at the end of the month and look for parts. Capricious was excited by the idea, and Jess told her that she liked seeing her inventions come to life, that she was very skilled and that she had to keep her busy or she would take the house apart. At Jess' request, Capricious showed her some other drawings, which she called "silly stuff," and she like a cute little winged cat-creature, whichCapricious told her was called "Spark."
(Figment II#3 - BTS) - After Dreamfinder (Blair Mercurial) -- who had traveled forward and time with Figment -- had been overwhelmed by a manifestation of his own doubt, Figment sensed and flew to a beacon of imagination from someone who was using dream power: Capricious.
(Figment II#3) - When Figment appeared before her, Capricious initially screamed, leading Jess to check in on her and ask what was going on. Capricious covered, saying she had read something scary in a book, and Jess advised her that reading was good, but not when you were supposed to be asleep, and she toldCapricious to please get some rest before bidding her goodnight.
(Figment II#3 - BTS) - Figment subsequently told Capricious that the Dreamfinder and everyone else at the Academy-Lucidus was in danger, and Capricious revealed that she was the great-great-great grandniece of the Dreamfinder. After Figment detailed the situation, Capricious agreed to depart with him to hopefully rescue Dreamfinder and the others.

The Figment issues were
surprisingly fun to read, especially the first series. Give 'em a read!
Capricious Aloysia Harmony was likable and entertaining, and it was also a little entertaining having the story take place in Cocoa, so close to where I live in Satellite Beach.
Capricious' father
was not mentioned that I saw, so we don't know if he and Jess were ever
married, and if they were, we don't know if he died and/or they got
divorced.
In this reality,
there apparently was NOT Disneyworld (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, etc.), but
the Academy Scientifica-Lucidus USA was in a
private swampland area, but the trademark geodesic dome of Epcot (The
Experimental Prototype City Of Tomorrow) was part of the story of
Figment II, vanishing mysteriously, and Dreamfinder and Figment departed
to find it at the end of the story.
Courtesy of Loki,
who advised me to cover Jess Harmony for the Disney Kingdoms spot, in
response to my query about whether the Disney Kingdoms stories shared a
common reality:
Hmm. I hadn't thought about that possibility, and I suspect neither had
the different writers. I don't think that was the outright intent -
Seekers of the Weird looks to be the first of the Disney Kingdom
series, released from January 2014, with the other series coming out in
2015 and 2016. The last page of that title includes an explanation of how
the line came to be, with a possibly pertinent quote:
"It was a true "What If?" scenario that asked what
would happen if the House of Ideas worked together with the Imagineers to
create action-packed worlds
around Disney's greatest attractions." - emphasis mine
That does suggest they weren't intended to share a reality. Interestingly, Seekers of the Weird isn't based on an actual attraction, but a planned one that never came to be because it morphed into the Haunted Mansion - which in theory could make the Seekers' mansion an alternate reality variant of the Haunted Mansion. And apropos to nothing, while checking on this I learned that while California's Disneyland, Florida's Magic Kingdom and Disneyland Tokyo all have Haunted Mansions, in Hong Kong's Disneyland it's replaced by the fantasy-rather-than-ghost themed Mystic Manor, while Disneyland Paris has the darker-toned Phantom Manor.
However, if the question becomes "could they all share a common reality?" then I think they could. They are set in different time periods but all in worlds that appear on the surface to be like ours - i.e. as far as the general public are aware, there's no magic, super science, supernatural beings, etc. Obviously there actually are such things in each of the Disney Kingdoms titles, but not openly as far as I can see - the closest we get is in Figment with the Articulate Army's attack on London, and then in Figment 2, with the Academy and its obviously non-human resident Fye - but the former was a localized event whose supernatural details were likely discounted by any who didn't directly witness them, and as for the Academy in Figment 2, Fye notes that it is deliberately in a secluded location, so outside of those chosen to attend (who could be sworn to keep his existence secret) the existence of Fye would remain hidden from the world.
