History:
(
Crazy Magazine#36 "Other Versions of Howard the Duck") - Sheerluck Duck presumably was a detective, possibly active in the 19th Century.

Comments: Created by Jim Newsome.

Sheerluck Duck appears in a single panel with the name "Sheerluck Duck" as one of a number of Howard counterparts in the "Other Versions of Howard the Duck" in two-page feature in Crazy Magazine#36.

Clearly, Sheerluck Duck was inspired by Sherlock Holmes, the legendary 19th Century English detective created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle

No further context is available, but it makes me wonder:

Perhaps someday, someone will flesh out the story of Sheerluck Duck and the seven other characters from this featurette: Duck Carter of Mars, Batduck, Duckula, Duc Savage, Duckey Crocket and Drake Vader. and Duck Fury, Agent of Q.U.A.C.K.

Physical features were estimated based on the Howard active on Earth-616.
