History:
(Captain America I#373/2) - During the period where his brother Lemar was operating as a solo adventurer in his identity as Battlestar, Leon managed Lemar's affairs from an office in Chicago. Leon received a telephone call from Lemar's former manager Ethan Thurm in Los Angeles. When Lemar checked in with Leon, Leon informed him of Ethan's message, which claimed he needed to see Battlestar on "a matter of national importance." Lemar investigated Ethan's call.

At the time it seemed like Battlestar was being set up as a long-term solo hero, having remained active in his own running plots and solo features in Captain America despite not being the titular hero's sidekick since issue #351; issue #373 revealed Battlestar had his own custom-painted car and his brother was introduced to build up his supporting cast - but nothing came of it. Battlestar quietly drifted away from Captain America after his last solo feature in issue #378; two years later, Battlestar joined the cast of Silver Sable and Her Wild Pack but Leon was forgotten.
