Powers/Abilities: Octo-Lizard is a reptillian genetic mutate who has superhuman strength, sharp fangs, scaly skin, and four-fingered hands. Octo-Lizard has cybernetic enhancements, including a cybernetic eye and full control of mechanical tentacles that extend from a harness on his back. Octo-Lizard has connections to other genetic mutates in the Outlanders.

History:
(Dark Avengers I#179 (fb) - BTS) - In the dystopian future of Earth-12177, the Earth was devastated after events in the country Sharzhad resulted in a global cataclysm. As countries resorted to martial law, an alien energy permeated the planet, resulting in vast mutations, and eventually only mutants could reproduce, though many resorted to cloning and technology. Octo-Lizard was born into this world decades later, a reptillian man with cybernetics, including mechanical octopus arms, and he belonged to one particular tribe in a Mondo City. At some point, one of the Bosses, or super-powered, tech-enhanced military forces, removed Octo-Lizard for some sort of criminal activity, and he was placed in the Tolerance Zone, outside Mondo City One. Octo-Lizard's tracking collar was removed and he joined a group of Outlanders, and they worked hard to avoid Boss Cage, who patrolled the area.

(Dark Avengers I#178) - Seeing Boss Cage in conflict with a team of time-traveling Thunderbolts, Octo-Lizard inspired his allies to make their move against him.

(Dark Avengers I#179) - Octo-Lizard and his Outlander allies attacked Boss Cage, and Octo-Lizard was shot in his cybernetic eye, but he immediately began regenerating. Cage soon set his bike to explode, and Octo-Lizard and the others knew there was no way they could escape the blast in time. Man-thing teleported the entire group away, and Octo-Lizard, believing Boss Cage to be dead, assumed the Thunderbolts were his allies, inviting them into an alliance. The Thunderbolts agreed to help them break into Mondo City One.

(Dark Avengers I#180) - Octo-Lizard returned the Thunderbolts to his Outlander camp, joining his allies Crawler and Vulcha. They soon struggled to break through the force-field around Mondo City One, and the Outlanders gathered for battle. As the shield broke, the Thunderbolts stepped through a portal to return to their own time.

(Dark Avengers I#181 - BTS) - The Outlanders engaged in battle with the Bosses as the Thunderbolts returned to their own timeline.
