History: (Fantastic Four I#15) - Higgens was driving his boss around New York City when they came upon an out-of-the-way neighborhood where the heroic Invisible Girl was meeting with a group of local orphans. His boss complained and asked how they managed to wind up in such a neighborhood and Higgens admitted he didn't know, remarking that it was as if someone had deliberately put detour signs all over town. Higgens then asked his boss if he should call the theater and tell him to hold off on the show auditions until they could arrive but his boss, having seen the Invisible Girl, told Higgens to stop the auditions altogether, as he had found his newest star.
