I#15 (fb) - BTS) - While a member of the Ramirez, Veracruz police
department, Hector complained to the police captain about another
officer's girlfriend coming by the precinct quite often.
(Savage Avengers I#15) - After
increasing numbers of drug users mutated by tainted drugs into servants
of Shuma-Gorath ravaged Ramirez, Veracruz, Hector and three surviving
police officers barricaded themselves in the police station with
fifteen surviving men and women. When one of the drug-tainted users
arrived at the precinct, one of the officers on watch informed Hector
and the others of the impending attack and admitted it had been nice
working with them, commenting that the statement applied to all but
Hector, whom he felt should not have went to the captain about his
girlfriend's frequent visits. The tainted users' tentacles soon broke
through the barricades and Hector and his fellow officers fired at the
mutate until things went silent. Unsure if they had killed the mutate,
Hector and his colleagues were surprised when the mutate burst through
the boarded-up window, only to be killed by the vigilante Punisher and
his arriving heroic allies. Hector then informed the superheroes about
how the local drug cartel had been taken over by some sort of death
cult and how the users who took the cult's drugs mutated into demonic
creatures.

Hector was one of four police officers left in
Ramirez, Veracruz but it's not 100% clear which of the four officers
was Hector. We see one officer at a window turn to look back at two
officers, one with a hat and one with a shaved head and glasses. We
then see the officer at the window look back out of the window and say
something to Hector. So it's possible that Hector was the third
officer, the one off to the side with buzzed sides of his hair, I'm choosing to go with
the officer in a hat as being Hector for the purposes of this profile
since we know Hector has to be one of the three who is not the officer
at the window and right before speaking to Hector, the officer at the
window looks back towards only two officers, which seems to further
narrow it down. If something comes along and further clarifies which
officer was Hector, I will update this profile accordingly.
