History:
(Unbeatable Squirrel Girl II#27 (fb) - BTS) -
Chitt-crrt was a planet
only populated by intelligent, squirrel-like extraterrestrials known as
the Chrrt-chuk. At some point, the Chrrt-chuk terraformed one of
Chitt-crrt's many moons, known as Nutopia XXIV, with nut-bearing trees.
They then similarly terraformed at least twenty-three of Chitt-crrt's
other moons, if not more.
(Unbeatable Squirrel Girl II#29 (fb) - BTS) - At some
point, Chitt-crrt adopted the planetary slogan of "Everyone loves a
squirrel."
(Unbeatable Squirrel Girl
II#27 (fb)) - Generations later, an alien spacecraft landed on
Chitt-crrt, much to the surprise of the Chrrt-chuk, and an
alien posing as the Silver Surfer emerged from the ship to tell the
Chrrt-chuk that Galactus was planning to devour Chitt-crrt. The "Silver
Surfer" then gave the Chrrt-chuk two options: do nothing and risk
Galactus devouring Chitt-crrt within a few days or gather up all the
gold and jewels on the planet to give to the "Silver Surfer" in
exchange for him convincing Galactus to go elsewhere. Despite the
Chrrt-chuk being appalled that the "Silver Surfer" was blackmailing
them, the "Silver Surfer" promised to return to Chitt-crrt in three
days to either accept the Chrrt-chuk's payment or tell Galactus to
devour the planet. The Chrrt-chuk immediately held a council to
determine how to save Chitt-crrt and their leader Chtty reminded the
others how Galactus had recently devoured their moon Nutopia XXIV after
the heroic Squirrel Girl led Galactus away from her own planet, Earth.
Figuring the secret to defeating Galactus would be a closely guarded
secret, the Chrrt-chuk transported Squirrel Girl's partner Tippy-Toe
(and Squirrel Girl's roommate Nancy Whitehead by mistake) to
Chitt-crrt, where they planned to use Chitt-crrt holographic technology
to extract the information on how to defeat Galactus.
(Unbeatable Squirrel Girl II#27) - After being placed in a holographic projection, Nancy and Tippy-Toe began to suspect something was off when every single person they met asked them about Galactus and when they refused to give up any information, the Chrrt-chuk dropped the holographic subterfuge and their leader, Chtty, revealed that Nancy and Tippy-Toe were on the planet Chitt-crrt and that they had eight hours to help save the planet from Galactus or risk dying alongside the planet. Nancy and Tippy-Toe agreed to share how Squirrel Girl defeated Galactus but upon learning that Squirrel Girl had simply befriended Galactus, Chtty explained how the "Silver Surfer" left a bomb set to go off in six hours that would completely destroy Chitt-crrt. Apologizing for accidentally involving Nancy, Chtty resigned herself to think Chitt-crrt was doomed but when she remarked on their being no hope, Nancy assured her that there was hope in Squirrel Girl finding them and rescuing Chitt-crrt. At that exact moment, Squirrel Girl was on Earth working with the then-Sorcerer Supreme Loki in an effort to rescue her friends and Loki soon located Nancy and Tippy-Toe on Chitt-crrt.
(Unbeatable Squirrel Girl
II#28) - Using the ship of Drax the Destroyer, Loki and Squirrel Girl
flew to Chitt-crrt and arrived as Nancy and Tippy-Toe were trying to
figure out how to disarm the bomb left by the "Silver Surfer." While
landing Drax's ship, Loki crashed into the bomb, destroying it, and
Chtty quickly realized that the bomb left on Chitt-crrt was a fake made
of plywood. Nancy then filled Squirrel Girl on the "Silver Surfer" and
his blackmail scheme on Chitt-crrt, at which point Squirrel Girl
revealed that Galactus no longer devoured planets. Realizing that the
"Silver Surfer" was also a fake and the whole story of Galactus coming
to devour Chitt-crrt was a scam, Nancy informed Chtty and Chtty happily
informed the other Chrrt-chuk that Chitt-crrt was not in danger of
being devoured. Nancy then reminded Chtty that the grifters would still
be returning to Chitt-crrt and they all discussed a plan to teach the
grifters a lesson. Seconds later, Squirrel Girl and Nancy proposed to
the squirrels of Chitt-crrt that they should space-grift the
space-grifters. Hours later, the space-grifters returned to Chitt-crrt
and Squirrel Girl and her allies used Chitt-crrt holographic technology
to simulate the arrival of an angry Galactus in an effort to trick the
grifters into giving up their scam. Unfortunately, the Chitt-crrt
technology failed and the hologram dissipated. The grifters refused to
give up their scam, angering Squirrel Girl, and when the real Silver
Surfer arrived on Chitt-crrt demanding an explanation as to what was
going on, the angry Squirrel Girl attacked him, thinking he was the
fake.
(Unbeatable Squirrel Girl II#29) - Squirrel Girl and the real Silver Surfer continued their battle on the planet Chitt-crrt with Loki summoning various other heroes as well to assist in the battle. Eventually realizing that she was fighting the true Silver Surfer, Squirrel Girl apologized, explaining that she was trying to protect the denizens of Chitt-crrt and had assumed the Surfer to be a grifter. The two heroes soon worked things out and, as the Surfer was about to punish the space-grifters, the Silver Surfer sensed seventy-six heavily arms ships approaching Chitt-crrt. The Surfer expressed uncertainty as to why the ships would be arriving, as Chitt-crtt was home only to squirrels, but immediately after coming out of warp, the ships fired on Chitt-crrt in an attempt to destroy the Silver Surfer, unaware they too had once fallen for the grifters' scam.
(Unbeatable Squirrel Girl II#30) - While Squirrel Girl, Silver Surfer, Nancy and Tippy-Toe spoke with Commander Sootori of the armada and attempted to halt further attack, Drax the Destroyer and Loki kept watch on the captured grifters on the planet Chitt-crrt. A Power Cosmic-empowered Tippy-Toe soon returned to Chitt-crrt to punish the grifters but when she decreed that no one would ever believe the grifters again, they nearly grifted their way into having Drax punch himself in the face so Tippy-Toe departed Chitt-crrt to come up with a better plan of punishment. After Tippy-Toe passed her newfound powers on to Nancy, Nancy then returned to Chitt-crrt herself and nearly beat the fake "Silver Surfer" within an inch of his life until she was talked down by her friends. The real Silver Surfer then took the grifters into custody and the Chrrt-chuk lived happily ever after on Chitt-Crrt using their holographic technology for entertainment.
