History: (Daredevil I#294 (fb) – BTS) – Accomplished anchorman Peter Scott accepted a job with Fisk Entertainment Television. He had a wife and daughter at home.

(Daredevil I#294) – Scott complained to Wilson Fisk, the Kingpin, and his aid Typhoid Mary about the content he was being asked to cover. In retaliation, Fisk ordered his man Maltese to cripple Scott's daughter "temporarily." Meanwhile, Charley worked on graphics for Scott's show.

(Daredevil I#295 (fb) – BTS) – Scott got word about his daughter's injuries. He worried for her life and safety as well as for his son's safety, and became an enthusiastic employee of the Kingpin to protect his family.

(Daredevil I#296) – Scott gave an evening report about several kidnapped public officials. Sweating, he checked in with Fisk, Typhoid Mary and Maltese, who said as long as Scott kept the ratings up, everything would be fine for his family.

(Daredevil I#298) – Scott kept working on the news.

One has to wonder if perhaps the name of Peter Scott was inspired by the names of real life newsmen Peter Jennings and Willard Scott. - Proto-Man
